I had the baby arugula salad special to start, & it was so tasty & the perfect beginning before having an old favorite of mine, linguine with white clam sauce. My hubby really enjoyed the Spiedina Romano which is a kicked up mozzarella appetizer that if he fully polished it off, he wouldn't have ate his Chicken Piccata then tangerine sorbet afterwards! Don't worry, we brought home leftovers to enjoy! Topping off things was a surprise singing of "Happy Birthday" when my tartufo came out! I did not have a reservation and the hostess was very nice and gave me a table without any hesitation. The views were stunning and the food was absolutely delicious. “Family Flamez is the GOAT. I live in Philly now and have tried to find other restaurants that make a better oxtail and it’s no comparison. This is the best Jamaican place on the eastern seaboard. When you’re here you’re family. Give them your money now! It’s not too spicy it’s called flavor. The meat is fall off the bone. Fried chicken is mind blowing, portions are plentiful. The best quality is the service, which is surprisingly pristine considering how busy this place gets, especially during happy hour. The place can be packed to the brim with people, and you will still get served quickly without diminishing the quality of the food/drinks. You can watch the bartenders make the drinks in front of you, and they serve you within minutes without cutting corners, before moving onto the next person. I’ve seen places half as busy, take twice as long to serve their patrons.“

“After passing by here from driving my daughter around town, I had to try! Told my bf to come here with me for a late lunch on a Saturday afternoon. At first I thought they were closed, but their light was just off awaiting a customer, so don't be discouraged to walk in if you see the light off. They been open for 3 months now.
We ordered several tacos of chicken, chorizo (very spicy), and mixto that comes with lengua, steak, and al pastor. My favorite was the steak. Everything seasoned well with good portions. Only complaint is that the chicken could have been juicier.
Inside the sell hand crafted items. Man bought the boot shot glass and I got the clay salt and pepper shakers.
So if your passing around, I suggest you give them a try.“

Only thing I will say their was the language barrier. It was hard for me to understand and hard for the server to understand. That makes it difficult when you have questions. I cannot eat this sandwich without making the Mmmm sound, I don't even realize that I'm doing it.
