The person working was very helpful & nice. I asked if they make the ice cream and she said yes, they make it at another locstion and bring it there. I got a 2 scoop Sunday with toasted almond & maple walnut ice cream, hot fudge, and real whipped cream.
There are many toppings to choose from.
They whip the whipped cream for your order, next time I'll ask for it without sugar because it was too sweet, but still good.
I took half of it home for later 👍🍨🍦
They also have cakes & pies & other types of treats.

Though I’ve never been in the store myself yet, they have been super accommodating and sweet through DoorDash. The management team is very kind! “Ice cream isn’t TOO cold while being probably the softest Ice cream ive ever had. Despite being soft, didn’t melt overly quick and the softness made it easy and quick to eat as well. Their flavor graham central station tasted like honey grahams which are way better than standard graham crackers. Workers were also super nice and accommodating. Only thing I’d change is if they had a vanilla brownie flavor I would’ve gotten that instead, but I’m not complaining because their chocolate brownie ice cream still tasted incredible. Would’ve took a picture but finished in less than 5 mins. 7 stars“

I will say I am more partial to the street food side of the restaurant, their ice cream is very good too. They always have a wide variety of flavors and you can get any flavor made into an ice cream sandwich which is pretty cool. I recommend checking out grassroots for dinner and dessert next time you are in the area! They have multiple locations as well (I am biased towards their Granby one as the food there is a bit more consistent!)“

“WE only discovered this branch of the Frisbee group late in 2021, but we are devoted fans now. First off, the ice cream was voted some of the best in CT ( via the Newington store) by Channel 3-TV subscribers. Next, it is the only source for No-Sugar Added ice cream in the Bloomfield area. And the site is lovely, despite the farm now being inactive. There is corn-hole for the kids to play on the spacious lawn, and plenty of parking. Finally, they keep the farm-store open more months of the year than most places, roughly April to November. We can count on a great dessert more than half of the year at Frisbee's .“

“Lots of flavors to choose from. We've been coming here for a few years and its always busy which is a good thing. Prices are a little high but not to bad. Staff are usually hight school or college kids and try their best with all the flavors to remember and order taking so I can't complain.“
