“I seriously loved this place. The atmosphere and the customer service were amazing, but the food is what really won me over. I just finished eating and felt like I had to write a review. Everything tasted fresh, homemade, and so comforting.

Even though the menu is international, there are a lot of Ecuadorian dishes and snacks that really stood out to me. It made me so happy to see my country’s food represented in such a beautiful way. I haven’t experienced that in a long time.

“So I typically have a great sandwich here, but the other day I placed an order over the phone for my grandfather’s birthday, and when I showed up too early to pick up the order I thought I heard they didn’t have one type of meats for the ‘Sweet Italian Combo’ (of course my grandfather’s sandwich, out of all of them ordered). I thought nothing of it as nobody said a word to me from behind the counter. Grabbed the orders and paid, get home and it was a grilled chicken sandwich with ham (random combination) BUT was labeled as the Sweet Italian. It all made sense now, and I was not mistaken from what I heard. The Provy Brother’s would of never of pulled that ‘stunt’ and would have been transparent that they did not have the available meat(s) for the sandwich instead of making whatever they decided AND labelling it as the requested sandwich when it was not. Yes, the sandwich was still good, but imagine my grandfather’s surprise on his 86th birthday that his favorite sandwich he ordered from his favorite sandwich shop was not what he ordered or wanted on his special day. Please don’t EVER do that again to anyone. That was messed up and you all know what you did. And yes, we will give you all another chance as your sandwiches are always great. Just please be honest to your loyal customers.“

I have been coming here for years and the quality food and sandwiches are there. There burgers are prepared fresh. Turkey egg and cheese are great. Tuna fish sandwiches are always fresh.“

“Everyone talks about Sally's or Frank Pepe's apizza here and there but frankly the best pizza I've had in New Haven so far is from this spot. They do take forever to make your pizza on busy days, regardless it is well worth waiting for. I'm assuming the pizza would be less expensive if they didn't charge so much for toppings. They post their specials on Facebook daily, and offer an awesome variety of meats, toppings and options. I walked there and had a bologna egg and cheese sandwich. bologna wild not normally be my first thought on a breakfast sandwich but it was in the menu so I tried it. I little salty, and not very healthy, but it was grilled and got and delicious.“

This is honestly one of the best CBR I’ve had.The chicken is super moist, coupled with heaps of crispy smoked bacon, which you can really taste. The ranch gives a creamy base layer that ties in the thick cuts of lettuce and tomatoes. This is all gift wrapped in a layer of cheddar cheese. The bread was crispy and held the insides of this sub together, without leaking through.I’ll be back to try the whole rest of the menu, you should too!“
