“I’ve been thinking about Jia Mei’s dry cooked food. Today I tried the 5 Spice prawns which was served of a bed of warm lettuce, red peppers, and fresh sliced chilis. It was delicious, flavorful, colorful, and spicy. This cooking technique is a style of Chinese cooking which is hard to find on the shoreline. Yum!“

“We have been to Shayna B's at least 10 times. The food is always amazing! Yesterday, 8 of us celebrated my wife's birthday. Everyone, including the non-gf folks, loved the food! The staff was great. I can't say enough nice things!!!“

“If I was rating our experience based on our first time going here, it would be 5 stars. Our second visit was not as great as the first. Unfortunately the service lacked, incredibly, our second time here. We watched our waitress go above and beyond for all tables seated around us (similar to the waitress our first time here). When our waitress got to our table, she didn’t ask if it was our first time dining with them (as we’d heard her ask 2 other tables), she didn’t offer to explain any of the specials (as we’d heard her tell the other tables), her demeanor and tone visibly shifted from cheery to monotone each time she got to our table, and she didn’t check in with us throughout our meal. It was incredibly odd. Maybe she wrongly assumed since we are on the younger end of their typical clientele, my husband is covered in tattoos, and we had our young child with us, that she wouldn’t be tipped well?! Not sure. But her service definitely left us with a sour taste towards Grano Arso, which is so unfortunate since we enjoyed our first visit there. My husband left her a 40% tip as he usually does when we dine out; perhaps she won’t be so judgy towards others in the future.“

“The staff were very sweet and attentive! There were many small details which made it special- a little flower rose on the straw, beautiful decorative edges to the vegetables, soooo yummy (M- curry) and simple decor with rich accents. Loved the sitting area!“

“We pulled in here on a whim earlier today and were lucky enough to guy something right before they closed for the day. Carrot cake was amazing. Hard to believe it’s soy free, dairy free, and gluten free. Really made my wife’s birthday special. Highly recommend this place, whether you have relevant food allergies or not.“

Each time I come I see the same friendly and knowledgeable staff, the food is creative and consistently delicious, with something for everybody, but my favorite is the Salt Marsh Farm pork chop with cranberry apple compote-best ever! New limited cocktails are a great addition to the top restaurant in Guilford.“

“This place is really cool. It's kind of like if a bunch of vegetarian hipsters bought an old diner, cleaned it up, and decided to serve gourmet food. They have many many fancy seaming non-vegetarian options. But what drew me in was the sign that it was a vegetarian enclave haha. Definitely a few good looking vegan choices. I ordered a falafel pita, which was tasty and just the right portion size for a nice little lunch. Very friendly staff, very in tune to dietary restrictions. Everything on the menu is labeled about dairy-free, not free, all that. So if you have any dietary restrictions, you would love this place.
The place was also very clean, very easy to get to. Totally recommend this please.

“Stopped by here on a whim as I was driving through. I got the black bean burger, which was incredible (built my own with a bun, cheddar, and some avocado). It was well made and crispy on the edges. Very flavorful. The French fries were awesome too - seasoned well. They tasted almost like curly fries, but better.
Staff was welcoming. Food came out within 5 minutes.

“This place is delicious! Every time we are in Madison we come here. The ladies are sweet. The pho, salads, spring rolls and milk tea are delish! The honeydew and the lime green tea are our favs.
The only thing that sucks are the “air fresheners” plugged in everywhere and tons of them in the bathroom I can barely breathe. It’s all you can smell inside which is a bummer. Gives us headaches it’s too much.
