“I’ve been thinking about Jia Mei’s dry cooked food. Today I tried the 5 Spice prawns which was served of a bed of warm lettuce, red peppers, and fresh sliced chilis. It was delicious, flavorful, colorful, and spicy. This cooking technique is a style of Chinese cooking which is hard to find on the shoreline. Yum!“

“Came here for the first time today. I've been wanting to try for awhile. Amazing place. Love the menu! So many different things to choose from. Tons of veggie options. I had a veggie melt with broccoli, eggplant, onions, sundried tomatoes and cheese. It was amazing! If you haven't been, great eats for breakfast and lunch!“

“We pulled in here on a whim earlier today and were lucky enough to guy something right before they closed for the day. Carrot cake was amazing. Hard to believe it’s soy free, dairy free, and gluten free. Really made my wife’s birthday special. Highly recommend this place, whether you have relevant food allergies or not.“

“Honestly originally came here thinking it was a typical tavern. Left having one of the best food experiences I have ever had! The food was amazing and so perfectly prepared I have been back countless times since and am always recommending them to friends and family. “The only issue with this restaurant is the availability of parking. Yep, I had to walk 1/2 a mile. But that is a small price for this outstanding dining experience. From creative cocktails to wonderful warm house made bread and an entree menu that is ever evolving. Don't miss dessert because you are in for a real treat. This may be Connecticut's best restaurant. Enjoy walking the village of Chester. It is a classic New England storybook village.“

“The staff were very sweet and attentive! There were many small details which made it special- a little flower rose on the straw, beautiful decorative edges to the vegetables, soooo yummy (M- curry) and simple decor with rich accents. Loved the sitting area!“

Each time I come I see the same friendly and knowledgeable staff, the food is creative and consistently delicious, with something for everybody, but my favorite is the Salt Marsh Farm pork chop with cranberry apple compote-best ever! New limited cocktails are a great addition to the top restaurant in Guilford.“

“For those who are vegan or (like me) lactose intolerant, this place has amazing choices. Try the Vegan stuffed french toast or the vegan pancakes. It is a must stop on our annual trips to and from Cape Cod, I only wish it was closer to White Plains.“

“The burgers they serve here are special and offer unique combinations. The employees bring the food to your table with a smile and are always available to help if needed. They have well kept bathrooms which are private. You can also order regular fries, sweet potato fries, and some chips that are made on site fresh. Not to mention you can order any of those loaded which is to say covered with bacon and cheese as well as a few extra goodies. To end the meal they offer some of the best thick milk shakes with bits of good stuff like Oreos etc in them.“

“The vermicelli chicken noodle bowl was absolutely delicious—I didn’t know my chopsticks could move that fast! I paired it with the Honey Lime Green Tea, so refreshing and such a treat. If I’m ever passing through Madison on 95, I’ll definitely stop again.“
