“The cookies at this company are nothing short of delicious. They have a variety of cookies for all different times of year. Whether you get cookies, blondies or even their brownies, you are guaranteed to want more.The staff are very nice, and they will even tell you what cookies they recommend. When you walk in you smell the sweet smell of cookies and sugar and not to mention everything else they sell. You also see the endearing environment. “This is a very tiny shop, but they have seating outside for the warmer weather. Ovens Of France is the best bakery outside of those one might find in Greenwich, CT. I live in Guilford, and it's worth the trip to Woodbury to buy their products. Try the chocolate mousse cake. It's the absolute best. I buy one and freeze slices, it lasts for months. The eclaires don't have overly sweet pudding in the center but a rich cream. The croissants are like nothing you'll ever find elsewhere. They open early, like 6am, for early birds.Parking: They are in a shopping center. The parking is always plentiful and close.“

“There is no other bakery like the International Bakery on Baldwin st. They care about their customers and haven’t forgotten their roots. You will find one of the owners always there and chatting with the customers about their day and their families. Walking into this bakery is like walking into a bakery in Portugal. “This location is great. The girls working here are always friendly and quick at their job. We always come in to get the Sundae Dashers and the staff is NEVER stingy with the toppings. Dairy Queen needs to hire these girls to teach them how to make a damn sundae.Dietary restrictions: They just came out with Oatmilk ice cream, if anyone has a dietary restriction.“
“Wonderful little pastry and bakery shop. The place might be small but gosh! The quality is really high. I walked away with the Tres Leches (3 milk) cake and their Coconut cream tart as well as a slice of pound cake to snack on. My friend had the same coconut cream tart and ordered a bunch of their cookies - neither of us were complaining. I practically inhaled my tres leches cake. The owner is friendly as well. When I asked her which 3 milks did she use for her tres leches cake, I asked because the recipe I use has coconut milk. She said that she can't use coconut milk because "this is Connecticut" which I'm guessing means that even something as bland as coconut milk is probably too exotic for Connecticut WASPs. Still I hope this place sticks around because her offerings are wonderful and Woodbury needs some a dose of exoticness.“

Ashley is extremely professional, kind, talented, and efficient. On top of the cookies being absolutely perfect and even better than I expected, they tasted amazing.“

I picked an item that I thought was the last item and the gentleman that was helping me was "oh I'll have to bring out some more." “I searched high and low looking for a place to make my husband's special birthday cake which was a carrot cake cheesecake. Much to my surprise there aren't many places that make this type of dessert. However, Amy reached out to me and ultimately made the most delicious cake ever! She and her husband were very easy to communicate with and followed through with all of my special requests. I will surely be back for more special occasion cakes!“
“I had never been to this bakery before but followed them on Facebook. One day I saw a photo of a cake they posted and thought it was gorgeous. We were planning our son's first birthday party with an "Under the sea" theme. Well....I went to check things out. Amazing little bakery. I tried their canolis, custard cups and cream puffs before ordering anything! I figured if they were good then I'll order more! They were Delicious!!! Best ever!! Rui was a complete sweetheart and bounced ideas back and forth with us and would be our main contact through the owner. They were so sweet, reliable and made us trust they'd do a great job!! I couldn't have been more happy about our order than I was. Seeing our beautiful cake made me tear up and thr cupcakes to go with it matched perfectly!! We will use this bakery over again and again! “I have family in waterbury that we try and visit monthly and this is the first place we stop at each time and believe it or not it is just for the loaves of bread and my brother in law drives all the way from NH to grab just bread for certain occasions.... Amazing place. BTW the desserts are amazing breakfast sandwiches are huge and filling and of course Delicious! My suggestion is go there because there is a lot to choose from and you won't be disappointed.......“
“I have been going on the weekend getting a slice of buttercream cake. Always happy with that. I was in there Sunday morning and decided to ask about the whipped cream slices. I asked Diane, of of the bakers why whipped cream can taste so different from different places. She was very busy, but she took the time to explain it to me. I asked if I could taste the whip cream, she let me. It was so good I picked up a slice with whipped cream. Problem is now I probably will be buying 2 slices when I go, instead of one. They are so nice here. I usually have Elyana waiting on me. Always smiling and so nice. Anyone else never had has been the same.“

“They make the best taralli! And they make many different varieties of taralli. My favorite are the ones with fennel. But they also have red pepper, pepper. There are so many varieties I can't remember them all. Some have a sugar frosting. I eat them like that but they go great with a beer or a glass of wine.“
“Such an amazing cake!! It looked great and was just what I envisioned when I sent the inspiration pictures. Besides the look, the cake itself tasted great and the fondant is homemade so it’s not just edible but it tasted good too. Birthday party was Friday, whole cake eaten by Sunday.“
