“Matt hosted My Place Preschool for a field trip. He gave 3 and 4 year olds a tour of the shop and treated us to delicious cookies! 🍪 It was a blast. This bakery offers amazing treats but the owners are local and so wonderful. I was so glad they were able to host us!“

“To reviewer tmG9470YS - I think you have reviewed the wrong bakery. Our bakery is spotless, all our baked goods are baked fresh and we don't even use the dumpsters (we dont want to attract bears). So I don't know where you went and a found a dirty bakery and found box mixes in the dumpsters it was not Southbury Baking Company. It must have been another local bakery. “I met these cookies at the Plainville Balloon Festival. The experience from start to finish was comforting, fun, safe, and delicious! Simple ingredients for a healthier treat that tastes better than most of the chemical crap out there. To spice up my review, my sister went into labor one night and ended up needing a C-section. I was bringing dinner to the hospital at a late hour. Being a HUGE dessert family, I called every bakery around to find a dairy free gluten free dessert bc I did not have time to make any and knew my sister would love a treat but was having no luck. I remembered Scoops gave them a ring and no answer. I decided to call again bc my number is out of state lol and prayed to God they answered. They did! They were just finishing up an event in Hartford. I explained the situation to them and they hand delivered a box of cookies to the hospital in Bristol for me with a huge smile on. It made me feel so good to know that they took joy in the delivery. What an amazing deed that made an entire family so happy. Eating healthy cookies while taking turns holding the new baby! “Brazilian Centro Bakery offers a very nice selection of traditional sweet and savory prepared Brazilian foods. I ordered the coxinha and a cheese-filled pastry, the name of which escapes me. They were crazy delicious! The staff was super friendly and helpful in explaining the choices to a non-native Brazilian. Can’t wait to return to try other dishes!“

“They make the best taralli! And they make many different varieties of taralli. My favorite are the ones with fennel. But they also have red pepper, pepper. There are so many varieties I can't remember them all. Some have a sugar frosting. I eat them like that but they go great with a beer or a glass of wine.“
