“Wasn't sure about this place when we pulled in to the parking lot but so glad we gave it a try . I ordered the Zuppa di pesce ( one of my favorite hard to find meals ) absolutely everything I was hoping it would be and more . Very extensive menu if you can't find something here to tickle your taste buds maybe your not human . The service was awesome. The restaurant itself ain't very fancy but a steady flow of traffic of people picking up and calling in for orders . They are definitely doing something right . Me and the wife was in from out of town for a funeral. And we was very satisfied with our meals and service . So if your in the area this place is definitely worth the stop .“

“I’ve been a fan and customer of Villarina’s Southbury for many years for far too many reasons to list ... but the most important one is the owners who are family and treat everyone like family!❤️ This is a quick review to say YUMMMM!!! Before the “stay at home” order went into effect, I stocked up on their frozen dinners and lots of pasta sauce. Always love having these in our house and especially so now. We recently tried the frozen linguine w/white clam sauce I had picked up. It was our first time for this dinner and WOW! It was fabulous. My husband says it’s the best he’s ever had. It’s not something I typically eat but loved it. We’ll add it to our list of things to pick-up. Thanks as always!!!“

“I been trying to find a good grinder/deli place where I live and I went to the other one on town that everyone says was good and it wasn't but then I seen this nice place and their meats are so good they got all the good stuff my grandfather would have at his house when I was kid. “I had lost power for 28 hours last week. I called Carlito’s on Friday evening 6/28 after I got my electricity back ?. I had salad, warm
rolls, fried zucchini with marinara sauce, my entree was 2 sautéed soft shell crabs & pasta.
The service was amazing! Food delicious!
I decided I had room for dessert. I sat in the lounge and had a scrumptious chocolate lava cake!!!
I don’t want all of my food delivered at once. At Carlito’s I didn’t feel rushed. Warm rolls and ice water. Appetizer. Salad. Entree. All served after you have finished the previous course. I enjoyed a very relaxed evening!

“We 4 ladies came from Michigan to attend a celebration, honoring our pastor: Apostle Fred Harris. This was his hometown. Attendance in Connecuit, church Rock of Ages, Bishop James Holly. From there, this beautiful Sunday (9/14) we ate at Pizza Castle Resturaunt. No complaints! The staff was nice. Our server was excellent, in spite of the customers shw servied! 17 of us alone at our table. Food: Excellent!“

“This was a wonderful experience for my stepson and I. Christy was probably the nicest waitress I have encountered in my life. Answered all questions we had, made accommodations requested by a 6 year old with 0 hesitation or annoyance, the food was great and came out as quickly as the bread, my stepson had requested an additional side not listed on the kids menu and she didn't even bat an eyelash making it happen for him. Fairly priced, amazing atmosphere, they deserve all the extra recognition they've been getting lately and then some!! We will definitely be back, time and time again.“

“Tried Pizzaro’s Pizzeria for the first time. My wife and I shared a large antipasta salad and a large cheese pizza with garlic, half pepperoni and half broccoli. Everything was great. While this is more a takeout place they have large booths and the service was excellent. The salad was awesome and so large we took 1/4 of it home. The pizza was excellent. Thin crust with a delicious sauce. I’m not a fan of the outer crust but this was so good I ate everything. I highly recommend their pizza. We have to go back and try their subs and meals as I witnessed many people getting these and pizza for takeout. I give it five stars. We will be back.“

“First time at Miranda's! Greeted immediately when we walked in the door. The staff was so warm and friendly. The restaurant was empty when we arrived around 4:30. Took us a few minutes to decide what we were having, but the waitress was so kind and accommodating. Finally decided on garlic bread with cheese, cheese pizza, meatball grinder. Meat lasagna, soup and Caesar salad. Everything was on point and delicious. Not a crumb left on the table when we finished. When we left there wasn't an empty table in the place. Highly recommend you give them a try.“

“We've been coming here since they opened in Woodbury, and it's safe to say that they're still just as good, if not better. Everything I've ever had here is always hot, fresh, and tasty. If I ever have time, I always try and come in for a slice of Buffalo chicken pizza. It always comes out in a timely manner, and is constantly amazing every time. The owner is extremely friendly, and makes for a great experience everytime. While they may be priced a little higher than some other pizza places, you are absolutely getting what you pay for.“

“We were traveling through the arena on Hwy 84 at 6 am and wanted coffee. Caffe Italia was the only place open so we drove into Waterbury. Winding our way there we almost decided to turn around and then…there it was. This was like walking into a little Italian neighborhood hangout….with EXCELLENT espresso! At 6 am there was a group of local Italians, reading papers, playing cards and generally sharing the days news. It felt like being at home with family. Great atmosphere! Lots of specialty Italian food, cheeses etc. Super nice guy who made our espresso. We would definitely stop in again for more!“

“Food is honestly amazing. From the stuffed shells, to their homemade meatballs; their cauliflower crust is awesome, and so is their stuffed shrimp pizza. Sounded weird to me and everyone said I must try it..: wow… they were right!! We are guilty of eating here 4 times in past 9 days ?.
