Was warmly greeted, handled samples of delicious cheeses and more. They were too skeptical when I said I grew up on Arthur Ave but once we started chatting they knew I wasn’t BSing. Saw familiar faces and reminisced about life on Arthur Ave. The owners are warm and kind - the real deal keeping it true to the Arthur Ave spirit. Dare I say they might even do it better!! I can’t say enough about the excellent food and service. If I ever find myself in Westport again I will certainly make a visit! Aside from my son’s team’s win, this nostalgic experience truly made my day and made me feel like I was back home in the Bronx when life was more simple. And yes, everything we ordered and sampled was delicious! No skin on the eggplant and bread from Addeo - doesn’t get any better!“

We have had bacon, egg and cheese and sausage, egg and cheese. We always get a hashbrown on it.
Cooked perfectly every time.
Crisp bacon. The sausage is not greasy at all.
They give you a couple of eggs.
You can either get it on a roll or a grinder. Both are Fantastic.
Prices are so reasonable.

We look at them as grandparents, but they also look very young. They are very respectful torward any culture, doesn’t matter. If you don’t have respect for these beautiful people, then you should be ashamed of yourself. They are very up beat, and lovable. Nowadays it’s hard to let a woman go into and establishment without men disrespecting them, or addressing them with there eyes in a vulture manner. “I seriously loved this place. The atmosphere and the customer service were amazing, but the food is what really won me over. I just finished eating and felt like I had to write a review. Everything tasted fresh, homemade, and so comforting.

Even though the menu is international, there are a lot of Ecuadorian dishes and snacks that really stood out to me. It made me so happy to see my country’s food represented in such a beautiful way. I haven’t experienced that in a long time.

Besides that, spices in best prices, many in ecological grade, fantastic Polish mineral waters from springs and containing minerals essential to human health. Once you start drinking them, you are not going to drink fake Gatorade drinks that are not only filled with harmful colorants but also contain sugar.“

“There is just something so magical about the way she makes the steak and cheese. I feel as though she pours her heart and soul into each sandwich. Every explosive bite is better than the next and you can actually TASTE the love. 10/10 would highly recommend. Although, be sure to watch out for tiny short man as he literally does the opposite. His sandwiches are filled with hate and resentment. I’m not sure why he is always so mad at me and my friends but I won’t deduct a star for his lack of kindness. “So I typically have a great sandwich here, but the other day I placed an order over the phone for my grandfather’s birthday, and when I showed up too early to pick up the order I thought I heard they didn’t have one type of meats for the ‘Sweet Italian Combo’ (of course my grandfather’s sandwich, out of all of them ordered). I thought nothing of it as nobody said a word to me from behind the counter. Grabbed the orders and paid, get home and it was a grilled chicken sandwich with ham (random combination) BUT was labeled as the Sweet Italian. It all made sense now, and I was not mistaken from what I heard. The Provy Brother’s would of never of pulled that ‘stunt’ and would have been transparent that they did not have the available meat(s) for the sandwich instead of making whatever they decided AND labelling it as the requested sandwich when it was not. Yes, the sandwich was still good, but imagine my grandfather’s surprise on his 86th birthday that his favorite sandwich he ordered from his favorite sandwich shop was not what he ordered or wanted on his special day. Please don’t EVER do that again to anyone. That was messed up and you all know what you did. And yes, we will give you all another chance as your sandwiches are always great. Just please be honest to your loyal customers.“

“Go here everyday. The guys that work there are awesome and helpful. The cooked food is pretty great and reasonably-priced. They have a good selection of snacks and drinks. I don't know what else to say about a convience store, but there's probably a dozen on my daily driving route, and I always hit up Best Deli. No complaints.“

Only thing that caught me off guard is the pastrami is cut small and cubed instead of big slices. It is not as salty, so tasted closer to ham, but still delicious. Will be back to try steak and cheese.“
