“The lobster rolls are the best in northwest CT. The shrimp and grits are likely the top 5 I have ever had. Burgers are cooked to your preference. Dry rub wings are delish! Well crafted cocktails that hit the spot. The staff is lovely and attentive. Sunday live music brunch. Thursday nights are raw bar and a great happy hour til 6pm. Always a fun time with great food!“

“We got the Royal combo and the chicken nachos and the bacon cheeseburger baskets and the buried treasure drink and a couple of coronas. It was all delicious. The only complaint I would have is the size of the burgers is getting flatter and flatter over the past few months. The food is always delicious and is one of our favorite restaurants around here. The staff is always friendly although occasionally they forget something such as a small plate or a pickle but it's no big deal it's still a delicious food. Please vacuum above the net and on it“

After accidentally liking the Facebook page for this restaurant rather than a similarly named one in my town, I’ve spent the last few months looking at the posts and thinking I have to visit this place. The opportunity came to bring someone special there for his birthday and it was just amazing. Having eaten probably thousands of meals in restaurants I can tell you that I met the best server ever - Suzy. She was attentive without being intrusive, personable without being over the top and she has an amazing sense of humor. The food was outstanding as well which rounded out a perfect evening! We’re already planning another visit up when it’s warmer and we can enjoy the patio and live music!!“

“We had such a wonderful time here. I cannot say enough great things about this restaurant and our experience! My son is the pickiest eater but after watching the chef my son started trying things and ate things he usually won’t. I was shocked! The food and the entire experience was top notch! We can’t wait to return. Don’t listen to petty people who like to complain. This was our second time and it was well with the 45 minute trip. My little boy said, 5 stars, 10 out of 10 and he was right! Thanks for an incredible dinner! Yum!“

“I have been enjoying the seafood from Tilden for many years. The fish is exceptionally fresh and Wes and Janet won’t sell it any other way. I have never had a “bad” fillet of fish or shell fish from them ever! The meat department is also very reliable with steaks or chops cut to order. I can’t rave about them enough!“
