“This is old footage from The Hub, truly a good spot. The ambiance is good, it does get very busy, & no reservations. Make sure you get there early & ready in case there is a wait, worth it though. The seasonal drink I had was good & the liquor wasn't over powering. A favorite of mine will always be a good crispy bacon pie, which is exactly how it's served. They also have a variety of other dishes on the menu including wings. I had their lemon pepper wings, so good, & had a nice little char which made it even better. I can't wait to return & try some other items.“
“It was my first time here at their cafe in middlebury. I came in for breakfast. Cute little cafe. It's located in the medical building. Definitely a little pricey but that is because they serve fresh and good quality food. They have quick snacks, salads, and desserts for grab and go. They have a bunch of great sounding fall specials so now is the time to check them out. I got a pumpkin flavored iced coffee which they use the Omar brand which I love. I ordered the farmhouse breakfast sandwich without the tomatoes and on gluten free bread. It was delicious! I definitely wish I lived closer to here because I would be here all the time. But I'll be back when in the area. Quite a selection for breakfast and lunch. I recommend checking them out! Also very friendly staff!“
“Have been to Oxford House Tavern a number of times since moving to Oxford in 2017 and have always enjoyed the atmosphere, selection of menu items and the drinks. The bartenders and wait staff have always been extremely friendly and inviting. The rib special is my favorite!“
“Thank you George and Marrissa for a wonderful and fun time celebrating my bachelorette party! Great band and DJ. Amazing service, fantastic patio, decor and vibe here! Food was great too! Thank you again George, as always you go out of your way for everyone!“
“I haven't gone out for a GOOD pizza in a long time. There has been a lot of hype over Fuoco Apizza so I was excited to finally check them out. They are conveniently close by from my work too. Don't know why I haven't been by sooner. Fuoco has really set the bar high with their coal-fired pizza. The pizza is slightly and perfectly charred (or burnt) that it elevates the flavor. The crust was not too crunchy and the bottom wasn't soggy from the sauce. We went simple with our pie choices: Original Mozzarella, Margherita, and The New Haven. What makes it The New Haven pizza? It's a classic tomato pie with crushed tomato sauce, garlic, oregano, olive oil, pecorino. The sauce, cheese and spices lived up to the hype. A few months back, Dave Portnoy of Barstool Sports visited Fuoco and gave them a 8.5 one bite review. If you follow his pizza ratings--that is very high. The pizza, in my opinion, was some of the best New Haven style. I liked that the cheese didn't slide off with a single bit and I did not kill the roof of my mouth (iykyk). It's probably the best pizza around without traveling into New Haven and the best pizza local to Cheshire. Next time we will kick it up a notch and try pies with toppings. It's is a great casual lunch spot with a small indoor dining area and a nice outdoor patio to enjoy on beautiful days. Besides pizza, the menu includes salads, sandwiches, appetizers, wings and desserts. They carry Foxon Park soda... The birch beer is an absolute staple! I love that the menu is simple and not overly complicated. You order at the counter that looks into the kitchen then you choose your seat. The staff were very friendly and the pizza comes out very quick. The pizzas came out at different times because they were pulling the directly from the coal fire oven. The restaurant was not busy either for lunch, but they had a lot of takeout orders. Anyway, if you are a pizza lover, put Fuoco Apizza on your list.“
“Me and my individual went there last night. We each got our own pizza. Broccoli & chicken pizza, pepperoni pizza. Both were very delicious especially with that crunchy crust not too crunchy but just perfect. The family there was very nice, helpful and funny. All and All definitely will be returning for more pizza.“
“My gosh!!! The food here is amazing!!!!!!! I'm talking the freshest salads pilled high with any or all of the options ( there's a ton!) I actually felt healthier after eating here. You can tell they are using quality ingredients. Gluten free options galore. We got take out but they have indoor and outdoor dining. We are local but how lucky for the Rt 84 travelers that happen to get off the highway right there to gas up and eat. A healthy fresh meal on the road is hard to find. What a little treasure in Middlebury, Connecticut“
“There's a good amount of parking in their lot that runs alongside the Farmington Trail. There's indoor and outdoor seating available. Inside is comfortable, with a diner atmosphere in a well maintained and clean restaurant. The food is very good with reasonable sized servings at good prices. Definitely will be back!“
“I have order pizzas and other food from Hitchcock Pizza from a long time. Thank you guys for your great job. I would say without a doubt that Hitchcock Pizza make the best New York style pizzas in Wolcott, Waterbury, Cheshire and Southington area. ?? ??“
“The lodge reminds me a lot of cheers! You walk in, and everyone starts to know your name… The weight staff is always very friendly and often strike up a conversation which I find something special these days. The food options are always great, and there are always a few specials on the list that catch someone’s eye. The draft beer choices are always rotating and changing which is great; often locally sourced. The bar area is always bustling, and offers a free pool table for patrons. There is also a large covered outdoor dining area for fair weather eating.“
“We love juniors! It's Wed Jan 10th at 3pm and nobody is there and the business is closed. My dad is standing outside in the cold trying to figure out why nobody is there. Asking neighboring businesses. We are worried you have suddenly shuttered! Please tell me what's going on! We love your burgers so much! The best I've ever had! I don't get sick from your food and so much makes me sick now. It would be a true loss if you were no longer in business.Dietary restrictions: The Xtudo is amazing and they take out/ put in whatever. They don't cook with msg/ take short cuts. They use quality ingredients or else my conditions would in fact flare. I cannot eat highly processed foods. No ham, no problem! You want crispy bacon, that's fine too! Medium rare meat- okay! No spicy due to Gerd/ they take it all out and don't miss out on any flavor. I can't have ketchup, great! It doesn't even need it but they will politely put it on the side per request.“
