“I used to go here quite often many moons ago, but for some reason haven't been there in quite a while. But was meeting an old friend who lives in New Caanan, and we chose this place. I opted for the Fish-n-Chips which was pretty tasty, but somewhat oily. But I ate every bit of it. The atmosphere is very "dive" bar ish, which is a bit of a charm in itself. We were able to eat our food and enjoy a couple of beers with some good conversation without them trying to turn over the table. After all these years CSE still has tasty food, and I'm sure I'll be back.“

“10 out of 10 would recommend. Went with the whole family. We were all very happy with our food and that’s hard to say with how picky our little ones are. All the staff were super kind and helpful. Everything looks amazing there. I can’t be the only one that eyes down the food as it comes out of the kitchen 🤷🏼‍♂️. I went with the Ram Smash Burger and it was cooked to perfection. Thanks Gates.
