We started with fresh oysters on the half shell, pan-seared octopus, and pan-seared scallops, each dish was beautifully prepared and absolutely outstanding. For our entrées, we enjoyed the sesame-encrusted yellowfin tuna and the homemade squid ink pasta, both of which were exceptional in flavor and quality. Our waiter, Jeff, made the night even more memorable. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and kind, offering wonderful recommendations and never rushing us. The drinks were fantastic as well and complemented the meal perfectly. S & P Oyster Co. gave us a honeymoon dinner we will never forget. We can’t recommend this place enough and can’t wait to return. “We went there with expectations to get just a lobster roll, and we did that but they offer much more. The lobster roll flight was fantastic. The bread was so soft and lightly toasted to perfection. The lobster was fresh and delicious. They also have kid’s tenders and hot dogs. The lemonade was even tasty! Highly recommend!“

“The Shipwright's Daughter came highly recommended to us by locals we had talked with while vacationing in Mystic, and it did not disappoint. We booked a reservation for 7:15pm on a Saturday evening, and we were seated promptly at 7:15. From the hosts initial greeting, to our server first introducing herself at the table, every staff member made us feel welcomed. It was lovely. The cocktail my girlfriend ordered and the local draft I ordered were both outstanding. Our appetizers of Oysters on the Half Shell and a Yellowfin Tar Tar served on a Potato Pavé, were both so delicious, full of flavor, and beautiful. Our entrees consisted of the Zucchini Bucatini and the Duck Confit special, and both came out perfect. The seasoning, the cook of the duck, the plating were all immaculate. It's very clear the staff takes pride in their work, and make sure the guests have an outstanding experience. We finished with dessert, a Plum Sorbet Pavlova with a Peach Reduction, an Espresso Martini, and an Irish Coffee. We were finished with our meal and drinks and on our way by 8:20pm. All in all, it was the best experience I've had in a restaurant. The meals were phenomenal, the staff was top tier ( I apologize I can not remember our waitresses name, but she was outstanding), and the overall experience was more than I could have hoped for. If you are traveling to the mystic area, and you want to have an outstanding dining experience, this is the place for it“

“Great lunch! The price point is spot on for the quantity & especially quality of the fish. The local catch of the day for the fish & chips was Red Drum. Excellently seasoned batter & tasty flakey fillets. The fries were just the right amount of crispy & the salt & vinegar onion rings were def ride or die! Possibly the only fish & chip experience I’ve had that there was no need for any condiments. Well done to Peter & his amazing team. “One of the best options for a fast n’ healthy dinner, if ya don’t want to cook :) The salads are made fresh (tabouleh is the best!) daily, and I like their chicken club wrap with extra mayo. I get the grilled chicken, and they are a little on the dryer side, but it’s balanced by the lettuce, bacon, mayo, and (I add) the tabouleh salad 😉 The stuffed grape leaves are very tasty. Once the grape leaves and the fattoush weren’t fresh (that was last year). I mentioned it to them, and the food has remained consistently fresh since. My office also gets catered platters and salads from Gansett Wraps, and they are very generous, fresh, and very tasty. Wraps are awesome to take home instead of the regular grocery store bread, and you get a lot for the cost. It’s a local best bet!“

The second we stepped inside, we were greeted by that warm coastal glow thru bright windows, with beautiful waterfront views, and a calm, classy energy. 💣 And then came one of those full-circle moments life throws at you sometimes… Our server was Trina, someone I worked with almost 30 years ago at Mohegan Sun Casino. Seeing her again made the day even more special. She was absolutely wonderful, kind, quick, and professional. It was everything you could expect. The cherry peppers gave it just the right kick, and that Thai Chili sauce was straight fire. We both said bomb 3️⃣ Seafood Pasta- $34.50 💣 This one was loaded: four big scallops, three shrimp, crab meat and two thick lobster pieces all swimming in a creamy garlic Parmesan sauce with a little sweetness from the julienne veggies. Had Broiled Haddock and baked potato as an entree. All that was needed afterwards was a coach.“

“We just took my daughter for her 17th birthday, she originally wanted sushi. She looked at the menu and immediately changed her mind and chose to try her first seafood boil! She absolutely LOVED IT! The servers are fast and friendly and the food is GREAT! She chose snow crab legs and black mussels, my boyfriend had a crab cluster combo and I had a sausage boil combo.
