“My first time here was a month ago having dinner in the steakhouse! If I could give 10 stars for the food, servers and atmosphere I would have. Last night we returned to dine in the tavern, food was absolutely delicious, Mariah our server greeted us with a friendly warm smile that she never lost each time she came to our table. “Everything was great! My wife and I brought our two kids (14 & 11) there yesterday evening and everyone enjoyed themselves. The oysters, shrimp, and clam chowder couldn’t have been more fresh. “I can't thank you guys enough for such great food for our family get together. Everyone loved the dinner and I had so many compliments on the how good everything was, especially the mac and cheese. It seems that we have found new catering for our family functions, and I can't thank you enough. It saved me much needed time and things were simply delicious. Dealing with Jan was super easy via email and phone with no problems. Extremely accommodating. All in all, one of the best caterings I've ever had to deal with. I would recommend them highly.“

“This was my first time dining at this restaurant. Gina the waitress was super friendly and very accommodating. The Atmosphere was great as we had a view of the stream. I had lobster taco which was pretty good, it could of been a bit more seasoned, but overall i enjoyed my meal. The cost is somewhat on the pricey side. I would definitely go back.“

“Red lobster is definitely trying to up their game. The menu is simpler than before and the food is far more consistent. We found the dessert way too sweet. Their cocktails are good, but can certainly use some tweaks. Their steaks were never their main draw, and it still isn't, so avoid it if you can. It has been years since we went to Red Lobster and now we have gone twice in as many months. Looking forward to going again soon.“

They have great vegetarian options, my favorite: the Navratan Korma is fantastic, they make it a little differently than when I’ve had it previously: there’s fruit in it and it adds some really stunning flavors. Only big recommendation for the establishment is to include more sauce in each order.. as a lover of seafood boils and a friend of many other boil lovers.. we know this is often the most expensive part of the endeavor but we LIVE for that juicy sauce!! ..

“I have been ordering takeouts at Il Forno for the past seven. I started with bacon and onions pizza which was great. I then changed to eggplant pizza and it has to be the best I have ever had. Now I have moved on to shrimp marinara with linguine and I can't tell you how great this dish is. The shrimp are so large and fresh and the sauce is excellent. The filet of sole must weigh at least 2 pounds and my husband gets it every week. The filet is enough for two meals and so is the shrimp. Thank you Il Forno for making our Friday takeout a special treat.“

“I literally can’t believe how incredible the food was. This is what casual Chinese used to taste like back in the day. It was as if I was a child tasting boneless spare ribs and crab rangoon for the very first time.. The spare ribs were charred and tender and the rangoon was made with actual crab as opposed to the typical “crab flavored” cream cheese. The pork fried rice was also remarkably flavorful with large cubes of pork and perfectly cooked onion. Those who have complained about the food specifically must be miserable Karens. This is my new favorite casual Chinese spot. 10/10“

“We are new in the Hamden area, and were really unsure as to what China place we wanted to try, as the reviews for everything local was not great, so we both decided to try Gold Star and oh boy was it good, chkn broccoli, general chows and crab Rangoon. They were all fantastic, especially the crab Rangoon, nice and krispy and the filling was so good. We really appreciate it chef thank you! Will be back soon.“

No we have been dancing and coming back to the same spot at the bar so it was empty . Y ask us to move how abt the couple next to us.
