“My first time in Old Greenwich called for a tea, and Joe's Studio Cafe pleasantly satisfied my need for one. I was captivated by the quaint nature of the shop's exterior, which compelled me to step inside and discover more. To my surprise, the atmosphere completely changed upon walking in. The low-lighting, sunken arm-chairs, minimalist decor, and two different kinds of wall paper made me feel as if I was in a hip organic store. One that I would not have expected to be found in Old Greenwich, which made this cafe all the more unique. My boyfriend ordered an Earl Grey tea and it was perfect! He especially liked how the tea bag was a filter, an essential must-have when getting tea. The service was quick and the staff were friendly. I'm pleased to know that Joe's Studio Cafe exists in Old Greenwich, as I can come back in the future to show my friends and family who will appreciate it just as much as I do. :)“

“We love the chicken pesto panini is a must when we got out for competitions, and bacon ? egg ? and cheese on the roll, and the cheese and steak onions with jalapenos is delicious. ? and they support the community.Kid-friendliness: I have my five-year-old eating a sandwich and no problems.“

“Wonderful place! Everything about our visit was excellent. We were greeted by friendly staff and were seated quickly. The restaurant was clean and decorated for the season (Valentine's Day). We ordered our appetizers: pasta fagioli and Caesar salad and were not disappointed. For an entree we had broccoli rabe pizza which the chef modified for our vegetarian diet. It was delicious. The crust was thin and had the right amount of crunch. The rabe was the right amount of garlicky. We should have each ordered our own! And dessert! Who knew that vanilla ice cream dowsed in good, hot espresso could be so sublime. The homemade Limoncello shot, rounded off a lovely lunch. “We stopped in on a dreary day over Christmas break while visiting family in Stamford. We felt the warmth and love as soon as we walked through the door. We ordered bagels and coffee. Coffee was self-service, hot and delicious. Our bagels were brought to our table, fresh and warm. The owner welcomed us like we were family. The atmosphere, food, and hospitality make this gem a perfect spot.“

“Had a really great Matcha at CFCF. I really appreciated the service as I ordered my matcha to the wrong location but they very nicely made it for me at the location I had hoped to order it at. The gripps Street location is really nice inside, a little bit small but it did not feel overcrowded. The gluten-free oatmeal square grew on me, but it was not great (very crumbly and not as much flavor as I hoped for). Definitely better things to eat so I will need to explore more.“

“Walked in here around 5:15p and immediately loved the set up of the place. I am a fan of coffee shops/cafes that serve drinks and this is the first one I've really found in Fairfield county. I ordered 2 empanadas (onion and cheese + caprese) and a lemon ginger tea. The woman behind the counter brought me my tea with a bottle of honey (it was nice I didn't even have to ask) while my empanadas were warming up. The music was relaxing throwbacks that I was really enjoying as I was getting some work done.The empanadas were really good! The bread/dough was different from other empanadas I've had - there was a crunch like a croissant - but I really enjoyed it with the salsa verde.Can't wait to come back here in the future!“

“I decided to stop here with my boyfriend after scouting the area for cute cafes serving fresh food with healthy options. We ended up at Granola Bar and enjoyed a wonderful lunch with our server Alex who was very accommodating and friendly. My boyfriend had the French toast that was so good he ate it right away and we didn't even get a picture of it. I opted for the avocado toast with smoked salmon and the ricotta toast. Both were incredibly fresh, light and delicious! We finished with a latte which was finely crafted with an adorable bear! There were so many other dishes that looked good on the menu being served to other diners so we will definitely be back to try the sandwiches and bowls.“

“Very cute outdoor coffee stand at a little apartment complex park near the train station. The staff were very friendly and the coffee is delicious, really great (had a latte). However, the food situation was disappointing. They advertise yogurt parfaits, pastries, and hot sandwiches, but almost none of the things were available. I would suggest that management make clear what hours food is actually offered and served!“

We stopped in about 20 minutes before closing and we're lucky enough to sit in their small eating area and enjoy a pana cotta and some other baked goods we took home. Initially I wanted some gelato but after seeing the baked goods I switched. They have lots of options and the next time in the area we will go back for dessert, maybe gelato.“

Overall the food was pretty good and the menu had a variety of different options. I got the warm brussels salad. I appreciate that the salad was so chopped up so I got a taste of each ingredient in every bite. Continually, the granola on the salad was a unique and unusual touch, however, it added crunch and an unexpected sweet flavor and constrasting texture to the soft chopped brussels and the tahini dressing. My iced oat milk latte was good and was what I needed, although, it was slightly bitter for my liking. Overall, it was a very good experience accompanied with great service.“

“I never really write reviews, but I feel the need to this time! Andy, the owner and barista, is absolutely amazing, and so is the coffee. Affordable coffee, and tastes amazing. My girlfriend and I came in for a quick coffee, and ended up staying for hours. We had to figure a lot of personal stuff out. Being unfamiliar with the area, Andy gave great advice. “One of my favorite breakfast places in Westchester. My fiancé and I usually go here and then head for a walk at the beach. Their pancakes are some of the best around. They taste delicious and are so fluffy and airy. They also have the best omelets and home fries. The cafe is run by a husband and wife. They are the sweetest and kindest people. Always remember us when we go and makes up feel special. Definitely try this place for your next Sunday breakfast.“

“I have been coming to Happiness Is for years. I work from home in the area, and Happiness Is is a great local place for lunch. I walk there from my house at least 2 to 3 times a month. I am a huge fan of their Thursday chicken and spinach quesadillas. I also very much enjoy their sandwiches, particularly the Norbadeer and the Caprese. The baked goods are yummy too. I have had the brownie and the chocolate croissant- both were good. The food is delicious and fresh, and the prices are reasonable for the area. There have been a few surly employees over the years, including a guy who insisted he had given me sour cream with my quesadilla when he definitely gave me salad dressing. Those occasions have been rare, though, and I generally have had pleasant experiences with the staff.“

“They source and roast their own coffee beans, source their own cocoa, make their almond milk, their own syrups (vanilla, lavender - in season, etc), etc. The pastries offered are all locally made. The baristas are skilled and pleasant to chat with. The overall atmosphere (now that everyone is able to sit inside again, as well as the lovely outside courtyard) is fun and light-hearted. A place I look forward to meeting family and friends while enjoying a quality cup of Joe. They also sell their coffee beans as well.“
