“I can't believe I never wrote a review for this lovely restaurant! The very first time I came I had never heard of it but my two coworkers raved about it so I just had to check it out. Some limited street parking and a couple parking areas were available. My coworker made the reservation and we were seated promptly. The service was amazing, the waiter was so hilarious we had so many belly laughs the entire evening. We started with some calamari which was delicious, and I had the lasagna for dinner and wow the portion! We had the tiramisu for dessert and the lava cake as well. The tiramisu was perfect! The second time I came it was much less busy and our waitress was super sweet and very attentive. I had the veal milanese and of course the tiramisu yet again. The food was amazing. The place feels a little small when it's super busy. The service was also great. It got a little loud the first time as the evening went on. And I tried to make a reservation for a few friends but we didn't get one so that was a bummer!“
“We held a private event for about 25 people last weekend in the upstairs space at Two25 and I could not have been more pleased! Leading up to our event, Andrea was very helpful and responsive, and the rest of the staff was just as incredible day-of. They were attentive to us and our guests (adults and children alike), regularly checking in to make sure everything was going well and everyone had what they needed. The restaurant is beautiful and the food was fantastic. It was the perfect place for our event, and we'll absolutely be back next time we're in the area!“
“My favorite restaurant in Stamford! I come here frequently with friends and the food is always delicious. Drinks, food, & vibes are great. We love Alejandro! Definitely worth the visit.Dietary restrictions: Very accommodating for gluten free and dairy free guests“
“We just discovered this Italian restaurant and we really loved the food, everything was delicious. The restaurant itself is fancy, really beautiful. The service was great, every-time someone was filling our water cup and really paying attention to our needs. Highly recommend!“
“What an exquisite, intimate, and gorgeous place to have a date night! Food and service are top tier, ambience too. 10/10 recommend. Will be going back. Will also be adding Siena as part of my locals to be a frequent flyer! It's perfect. Great job Siena ! ??“
“Lovely restaurant. Nice atmosphere and the service was fantastic - very friendly and attentive. We didn’t wait long for our food. The lamb tacos were delicious and the espresso was good. Parking is impossible right by the restaurant however you can find spots near the Infiniti car dealership.“
“Incredible food, fast service, convenient location, and friendly owner and staff. What more would you want? Have been to this place several times and every dish is superb. The portions are large and you'll probably want to get a doggie bag to go.“
“The food was very good. We had a reservation for six people. Our table was comfortable. The service was good but from the second we sat down, every single server who came to our table was trying to rushing us through. The server who was taking our order came by three times, within minutes even, though we told him we needed some time. We finally had to tell another server that we are not in a hurry and we would like to please not be rushed through our meal and out the door. After that, we were able to enjoy our time and our food and drinks.“
“A TERRIFIC dINING eXPERIENCE- fOOD AND sERVICE wONDERFUL- gREAT wAITER WHOSE BEEN THERE AT LEAST 20 YEARS AND IS VERY HELPFUL; sPECIAL mEAL FOR A REASONABLE PRICE AND YOU CAN ACTUALLY HAVE A CONVERSATION WITH SOMEONE AT YOUR TABLE! dON'T MISS OUT ON THIS oNE OF A KIND rESTAURANT- tHE waLKERS“
“My family and I went for dinner there for my daughter's birthday.First time there and I have lived in Norwalk for 20 years etc.Somehow missed it.Place was excellent!Food and waitstaff were tremendous. Could not have been nicer.Very good Italian cuisine.I will definitely be back“
“Great food for the money. I have found myself going back to try more and more items finding them all to be great and that’s why bc the place is always busy. Free parking make carrying out easy and convenient to stop at for lunch. Try 39 and grilled chicken with marinara on a wedge!Parking: In back or along side easy peasy !!“
“This is a little gem in Portchester! The food is fresh and tasty and the staff is lovely. We don't get there very often (we live 30 minutes away) but have been super happy with everything we have gotten there. Great sandwiches and Italian specialties.“
“Table 104 is our favorite place! We had our holiday party there this year in the downstairs space. The atmosphere was perfect, the service was above and beyond and the food and drinks are always delicious! David, our bartender was so attentive to our staff, and we were even able to play our own music. Walter made our planning so smooth and simple. We had the best time and will definitely be back!“
“This restaurant never fails to impress. Constantly exceptional service and delicious food! They recently helped us surprise my sister on her birthday with incredible hospitality. Their thoughtful gestures and tasty menu make every visit a delight. Highly recommend for both their fantastic food and outstanding service?“
“I have been dying to try Crust Pizza Company for weeks and they did not disappoint! The thin crust pizza was perfect, as was their plain pizza. We loved the soups and I will definitely be going back for their beet salad! Wonderful food and extremely nice people.“
“the atmosphere was amazing, the staff was pleasant and very personable, the food was delicious and desert the chocolate bomb I believe that's the name was the perfect ending to a wonderful service also the waitress helped me pick out a non-alcoholic drink cucumber something I'm horrible with names that's why I haven't mentioned theirs because they definitely gave it I'm just horrible with remembering anyway....if you're in Stamford area go there you'll meet them tell them Emma sent you you won't regret it I live in New Jersey and will go back“
“Been a loyal customer since the Califano’s ran Stamford Pizzeria. The food has always been fantastic, staff is friendly and helpful, and you always feel like home when you’re there. I try to have something new every time I come but I tend to always go back to my favorites, chicken parm dinner, grilled chicken salad, chicken Italian with red peppers and broccoli rabbe.Parking can sometimes be a challenge but that’s because this place has found a new beloved home in Darien and everyone wants their food. Be patient or do pick up so that you get the best of both worlds.“
“Amazing homemade pasta! Chicken cutlet to die for! Even the simple Arugula Salad is so delicious! Service was super friendly. Chef came over and chatted with us - great guy! We have eaten there several times now and always top notch food.Gave 4 for atmosphere as a bit loud when we got there, but calmed down significantly.“
“Wonderful place! Everything about our visit was excellent. We were greeted by friendly staff and were seated quickly. The restaurant was clean and decorated for the season (Valentine's Day). We ordered our appetizers: pasta fagioli and Caesar salad and were not disappointed. For an entree we had broccoli rabe pizza which the chef modified for our vegetarian diet. It was delicious. The crust was thin and had the right amount of crunch. The rabe was the right amount of garlicky. We should have each ordered our own! And dessert! Who knew that vanilla ice cream dowsed in good, hot espresso could be so sublime. The homemade Limoncello shot, rounded off a lovely lunch. We have been to Bari before and will return every chance we get. Big Mike, Johnny and the staff bring southern Italy to Stamford. No passport needed.Maria and MarkRhode IslandVegetarian options: The chef modified for us.“
“BIG fan of this place! While there’s plenty of pizza options in Stamford you HAVE to try some of the specials! The chicken scarpiello pizza is unlike anything I’ve ever had. The service is FANTASTIC. We had a small wine spill and they offered to switch tables for us. Prices very reasonable. Don’t let the white tablecloths fool you, feel free to dress up or dress down. Will be back!“
“Oh, Napoletana! I've been there a few times and I have to say, it's absolutely amazing! The food is incredibly delicious, and the flavors are so authentic. Every dish I've tried has been a burst of flavor in my mouth. ??Not only is the food top-notch, but the service is also exceptional. The staff is friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist with a smile. They make you feel welcomed and ensure that you have a great dining experience. One thing I really appreciate about Napoletana is how clean and well-maintained the place is. It's evident that they take pride in their establishment and pay attention to every detail. It creates a pleasant and inviting atmosphere for guests. If you're looking for a restaurant with great food, delicious flavors, friendly service, and a clean environment, Napoletana is definitely the place to go! I highly recommend it. Enjoy your meal, Samuel! ?️?“
“Great dinner. The food was amazing (Spicy penne vodka, Halibut, burrata and Tiramisu). I'm a bit of a burrata and Tiramisu snob and both were the best I've had in a long time.Service was top notch.Super cute restaurant. If you haven't been, this place is a must. We were very pleasantly surprised.PS The wines were great as well.“
“By far my favorite place to eat. Last night I had Pork chop Scarpariello and it was the best I have ever had, the best. It was soft, tender and full of flavor. My God I was in heaven. Our waiter was very nice and fun to interact with as well. Don't miss this gem, you'll be sorry...“
“Recently found this spot, and I'm glad I did! I work nearby and wanted some pizza, so I decided to check it out! Tried a half cheese, half pepperoni, so good! Had to go back the next day! Ordered a half bacon and half cheese and a side of garlic knots. Everything was delicious. Love their marinara sauce! The service is great, too! The gentleman at the counter is very kind and professional. I'm excited to try other options!“
“They have amazing lobster raviolis (despite only giving 5-6 raviolis, it’s still worth it).Their chicken parm is amazing (great portions given for this dish). My partner had lamb chop sticks and he loved them as well as the meatballs; I had calamari and it was great.“
“This is absolutely a fabulous restaurant. It is a simple understated atmosphere that makes its stunningly great food stand out all the more. You walk in and feel at home and comfortable with great service. I have eaten at great restaurants in dozens of countries. This is among the very top of those. Will keep going back.“
“If the calamari was not so chewy, I would have given 5 stars. However, the spaghetti carbonara was superb, and, done right, without the cream! Just the right amount of bacon and not overly salted. The salmon was cooked to perfection. It could have used a little less sauce, but the flavor of the salmon did shine through. The service was excellent. All of the servers were attentive and friendly. An excellent experience overall. Keep up the good work. ??“
“I absolutely LOVE coming here. First of all- I am a born and raised New Yorker and finding Pizza by the slice comparable to what I have grown up on is impossible. THIS PLACE GETS IT! I come for pizza slices during my lunch break and have also come for dinner trying their variety of pasta. I have yet to be disappointed. The chicken Scarpariello is my favvvv. 10/10. The customer service is always personable and that’s so important.“
“Stamford Hospital crew orders from here all the time and food is always great. Today besides sending amazing food these guys helped with our tiny budget and feed ICU staff. THANK YOU Arcuris and Jammie for stepping up in such a difficult time for all of us ❤❤❤“
“After hearing rave reviews about Il Pastaficio, my family and I finally decided to give it a try for dinner last night. Nestled in a cozy corner of Cos Cob, this unassuming hole-in-the-wall establishment exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality by the staff, particularly Timothy, who provided exceptional service throughout our meal. The ambiance was inviting, setting the stage for an unforgettable dining experience. Now, let's talk about the star of the show: the pasta. Il Pastaficio undoubtedly boasts some of the freshest, most flavorful pasta on the East Coast. Each bite of the Linguine Al Sugo Di Pesce was a revelation, perfectly cooked to al dente perfection and bursting with the flavors of the sea. My wife indulged in the decadent Lasagna Tartufo, while my son devoured his Kids Pasta with tomato sauce, both of them thoroughly enjoying their meals. What sets Il Pastaficio apart is its commitment to authenticity. With every bite, you're transported to the heart of Italy, thanks to the genuine flavors and expertly crafted dishes. It's like taking a culinary journey without ever leaving your seat.In conclusion, Il Pastaficio is a must-visit for pasta lovers and aficionados of authentic Italian cuisine. If I could, I'd give this place six stars for its outstanding food, friendly staff, and the ability to capture the essence of Italy in every dish. Whether you're a local or just passing through, do yourself a favor and experience the magic of Il Pastaficio firsthand. You won't be disappointed.Parking: 30“
“It was Valentine's Day so our expectations were not high. It turned out the service was very good and so was the food. No long wait. Only issue was being seated near the door with the cold air constantly blowing in at us. We would go back again in a heartbeat and just sit somewhere else.“
“I’ve always walked past this place and today I decided to stop by with my partner for Happy Hour. It was one of the best experiences we have had in Stamford yet. The bartender, Branling, recommended food to try and he made us some of the best drinks I have had I had to order a couple more (old fashion and Italian 75) because he truly made them like no other. I can’t wait to come back and try their dinner menu and many more items because of the amazing experience I had this afternoon!“
“How did I miss this place until now? A true Italian deli with the best fresh mozzarella I've had since moving from NY to CT. Grilled vegetables were fresh and perfectly-cooked (not too soggy/soft, but cooked through). Can't wait to try more.“
“Had lunch with a buddy here recently. Old school place. Spots like this are a dying breed. We started with shrimp, scungilli, and the arugula salad. The shrimp was disappointing, I would not order again. Buddy had the lasagna which he destroyed, huge portion. I had the blacked salmon special which was very good, nice filet. The broccoli rabe was great, lots of garlic. Looking forward to my next visit.“
“Pizza Post is a family-owned and operated Italian restaurant in Greenwich, Connecticut that has been serving up delicious pizza and pasta since 1972. The restaurant is located in a charming, historic building on East Putnam Avenue, and it has a warm and inviting atmosphere. The pizza at Pizza Post is made with fresh, high-quality ingredients, and it is cooked in a wood-fired oven. The crust is thin and crispy, and the toppings are generous. Some of the most popular pizzas include the Margherita, the Pepperoni, and the White Pizza. In addition to pizza, Pizza Post also serves a variety of pasta dishes, salads, and appetizers. The pasta dishes are made with fresh, homemade pasta, and they are served with your choice of sauce. The salads are large and refreshing, and the appetizers are perfect for sharing.Overall, Pizza Post is a great place to go for a delicious and affordable Italian meal. The pizza is top-notch, the pasta is homemade, and the service is friendly. I highly recommend it!“
“Fairfield Pizza’s Cos Cob location has a sublimely friendly and service oriented staff. They want you to be made happy by enjoying their food and it shows. The cheese pizza in A-MAZE! when enjoyed immediately following preparation. It also makes for a good super-fast school lunch the next day. The pricing is competitive and the selection is wide. I recommend Fairfield Pizza at Cos Cob to all pizza lovers.“
“Was looking for a pizza place in town that had wood fire pizza ovens with thicker crust. This place is awesome! The pizza was delicious, we had the mushroom pizza (New England) I think? And then we had the fried calamari and the crispy cauliflower, which was my favorite! It's not a huge restaurant though, it's smaller but they do have a patio as well. The service was friendly and quick. We will definitely come back again when we are in town!“
“My wife and I went out to lunch today in Locust Valley, NY. Last July, the LVI Bistro changed owners. Marcel has owned the restaurant for over 40 years. They had an excellent reputation and their food and serve was always high quality. This was our first visit since the change and we found it was quite good. We sat down in the bar room and was greeted by the new manager, Andrea. He was very nice and gave us their new menus. Everything looked great from the appetizers to the entrees to the desserts. My wife wanted something light, so she ordered a Cesar salad with grilled chicken strips. I ordered a hamburger with fries. Rita, a waitress from the previous owner, chatted with us about the change and was very positive. There is a new chef, who prepares the food and has a quick turnaround. Both our meals were delicious and were served hot. We talked with the manager and he told us they were going to decorate and renovate the formal dining, the upstairs dining area and the bar room area. We were excited that this local restaurant was getting some loving care from the new owners. We enjoyed our lunch time and enjoyed our experience at the LVI Bistro. When we asked for the check, Andrea brought a dish of tiramisu with two spoons. He told us the desserts were all homemade. It was excellent and was a great way to end our meal. This is a new LVI Bistro and they made a great first impression on both of us. If you're in the Locust Valley area please make some time and try the new LVI Bistro. The service, the food and the atmosphere is great for a meal with two or ten people. Travel safely and keep healthy. We wish the new owners much success in the future. Best wishes.“
“If you're a fan of quality New Haven style pizza (apizza?) RP is for you. I got the Wooster Street pizza and ordered with pepperoni and mushrooms. Well done. Great sauce and crust and naturally that's the foundation of a quality pie. The roasted mushrooms were fresh and pepperoni was generous but not overkill. Strips of fresh basil made the difference. Even in the box it smelled so amazing it made the 5 min drive home seem like an hour! Rowayton Pizza will be my standard Friday night fare.“
“Over the last few years, we have eaten at Pasta Vera many times and every meal has been fabulous. This evening, i had veal scaloppini that was grilled and served over rice and mixed vegetables. It was delicious! My wife had a salad with grilled salmon and my friends ordered two of the chef’s specials. Pasta Vera also offers take out meals, including various Italian specialties like eggplant Parmesan and ready to go in the oven pizzas. If I lived or worked in Greenwich, Connecticut, I’d be either dining in or picking up takeout at least 5 times a week!“
“Quaint little 8 table restaurant serving up some sizable and authentic mexican dishes. Doesn’t hurt it also offers a beautiful beach front view of Long Island sound. The cocktails are prepared well, appetizers fresh and if I must say, the carne asada is mind blowing good.I’ve been coming here for few years now and the friendly atmosphere makes it all worth while. It’s a bit out of the way, but trust me, they’re worth the trip.“
“Outstanding dinner experience!!! Saturday night was very busy, so we headed at the bar for a couple of drinks until our table got ready. Excellent service, very welcoming, Amazing food!!! Louie's is definitely back at the top of our list!“
“We all ordered appetizers, entrees and desserts and everything was delicious. They made a home made warm Zabaione for dessert, cooked in front of us and then poured over berries. Amazing! The staff is incredible. I have not had such an attentive staff since way before the Covid era. Alba's is the best restaurant experience I've had in a long time!“
“Beautiful, upscale restaurant. Incredible menu and the dessert is amazing, must try the pistachio cheesecake!! We had the cold antipasto, Caesar Salad, trattoria salad, fettuccine, and the Carpino pizza. Everything was amazing and the service was great as well!“
“Service was better this time compared to last time. Food was really good. We got the octopus special; the octopus was delicious and perfect texture, but it was odd to be over hummus. My salad with chicken cutlet hit the spot. I got it as a main dish, so it was large and very filling.“
“Elegant gem nestled in the heart of town. Wait staff was amazing, very attentive to everyone's needs, very polite and friendly. Food was fantastic and brought out promptly even though the place was packed for lunch. Group of 6 and we only waited about 10 minutes from when we ordered to food being delivered. My prosciutto pizza was off the chart good!“
“Salmon lunch was delicious! Seafood enthusiast here and I travel all over Fairfield County and Litchfield County trying highly acclaimed restaurants bars and cafes. This was delectable salmon and yes you can ask for sauce on the side so it is not spicy! So yummy and the ambience is so nice. Oh and the to go orders give you fresh bread with it! Extra lovely above and beyond touch of class there!!!!“
“Great family owned restaurant.I'm a veal Parm kind of guy, last night i had the veal & peppers, oh man was it good. it was perfect for a veal lover like me. My beautiful wife had baked ravioli and that was just fabulous as well.Ohhhh.... and then we had this really yummy ice cream with cherries and nuts, covered in a chocolate shell. and a cappuccino... of course.Thank you all so much for a wonderful dinner.Ed & Toni Mcquillan“
“Small pizzeria/restaurant on Sound Beach Ave. No neon lights. Easy to miss. One night I didn't feel like driving home and cooking, and wasn't dressed for fancy.Simple, clean with4 or5 booths for seating. Looks to be family owned and run. Very nice staff. Menu covered all the Italian favorites and some. Each time we go back we try a different dish and pizza. So far everything we've tried was really very well prepared, better than some more expensive Italian restaurants we've gone to.Their chefs know how Italian food is supposed to be prepared and taste, from the pizza crust to the different sauces on the dinners. The Bronx pizza and Chicken Franchese are two favorites. After your done eating, you be pleasantly surprised by the bill. Re Napoli earns a high place on our restaurant list.“
