“For the best Greenwich sushi, I recommend Tsuki Sushi. Dinners for two or a group of friends would be just right in this setting. You can't go wrong with the Hamachi Jalapeno appetizer if you're looking for something hot and flavorful. The sushi chefs are true experts in their field, and it shows in every bite.“

“We really enjoyed Oko. We ordered omakase, which is fairly expensive but very enjoyable- some courses were even outstanding. The drinks were excellent. The service was very good- our server explained each course as it was served. As much as we enjoyed the multiple sushi courses, we would have liked a sampling of a hand roll and sashimi. The tables close together and somewhat cramped. Understandable, given the small space.“

“The chef was kind, friendly and a true sushi master. He was excited to share details about his passion — from his epic overnight supply chain bringing in the freshest fish from Tokyo to his personal favorites along the way. Omakase makes for a special, delightful experience!“

“I highly recommend this sushi restaurant in Stamford. I’ve been coming to this place for +10 years and I’ve tried most sushi restaurants in Stamford. Every time I bring someone new to the restaurant they become fans and visit often.I typically order sashimi and speciality rolls. I only trust this place for raw fish. The sakura roll is my favorite. You won’t be disappointed!“

“Been coming here for at least 10 years. All you can eat for $31 includes sushi and appetizers. Korean style ribs, edamame, tempura chicken & shrimp, hamachi and tuna tartar. Pretty much any roll you can imagine and the service is excellent. Occasionally they get slammed and you might have to wait a little longer but they get the food out very quickly.“

“Good quality sushi! I recommend eating in this restaurant because the ambiance is really nice and gives a more elevated feel. I had their sashimi and rolls and I can taste a better quality difference here. I have also eaten their bento boxes and they're really delicious with teriyaki and also katsu chicken. I recommend eating in for the experience and waitresses have been really nice to help explain different types of fish. Their tea was also really nice too. I will continue to come here whenever I want Japanese cuisine and good service.“

“I recently tried the lunch special at Open Rice and found a lot to appreciate, especially considering the price. The food earns a solid 3 out of 5. While the ingredients were fresh and well-prepared, the flavors, though good, were not particularly standout. However, where Open Rice truly shines is in its service, which I would rate a perfect 5 out of 5. The staff was remarkably attentive and efficient, making the dining experience smooth and enjoyable. For anyone looking for a quick, healthy meal with excellent service, Open Rice is definitely worth a visit“

“Yum. Food is excellent. Beautifully presented. Had hot and cold appetizers. Crispy rice was excellent. Yellowtail/salmon/tuna pizza and Shrimp Shumai were good. Rock Shrimp Tempura was a little too sweet for my liking. Specialty rolls--Greenwich and Starry Skies--were unique and delicious. Service was great.Only 4 stars because the acoustics are terrible. Seated next to a group, where two tables had been pushed together in the front of the restaurant (??), it was difficult to hear other diners speaking at my table. So many wonderful sushi restaurants near/on the Avenue, I think I'd visit others before returning here.“

“I just went to get take out there. Sat in sushi bar and ordered other items while waiting. For take out, I ordered the imperial and sushi B..Supposed to come with 10 pieces of sushi.. however both only came with 8.Restaurant is expensive. So if you gonna charge this much. You should at least honor what you said you would do.“

“I lived in Japan for several years and, since returning to Stamford, I have been looking for a Japanese restaurant that knows how correctly to prepare and serve Japanese food, sashimi and sushi in particular. After many unsatisfactory experiences at various local spots I found Kiku and my search was over. These folks really know their Japanese cooking. Everything was perfect -- and the price is very reasonable. Now, I eat at Kiku once a week and find 100% satisfaction. They also do a very tasty drunken noodles, but I go there mainly for their raw fish. Also, attentive service. Just great! To find this sort of dining experience in a strip mall in Springdale is amazing.“

“I meet friends here for lunch a lot as it's the best sushi around. Very fresh, fun cozy atmosphere. Service great too. Dinner is also great here, must make it there more often! We are picky about our sushi as we have been eating it since the 1970s, and have lived in Asia. You can't fool us with inferior quality.“

“So just had dinner last night, Grace roll, shrimp tempura, salad and tempura soba, shrimp teriyaki. Some crazy lady came to complain about her take out! Everything was fabulous and we do this at least every 2 weeks for many many years. Have yet to be disappointed....“

“The food itself is bomb. The atmosphere is pleasant. On most occasions, the waiters have been great. Although, the last time, the waiter made 4 mistakes during our last visit, one being an overcharge of $40 which is absurd. Otherwise, 4.5/5“

“Simply the best! as another reviewer stated I almost don’t want to write the review & let everyone know just how great this restaurant is!. The waitress is superb at service, foods always fresh and the staff deserves to know they are very appreciated by their customers!.“

“Hands down my go to for Japanese or Chinese food. Their quality and standards are superb. Their Miami rolls are delicious, their soups are delicious, and their Chinese menu is reasonably priced and great quality compared to other places. Highly recommend!“
“Best fried rice I've ever eaten in my life. Everything I've ever ordered here has been absolutely amazing. Service has always been great and fast, the only thing is the price is decently expensive at around $15-$25 a plate depending on what you get, put in my opinion 100% worth it.“

“I couldn’t recommend this place enough! The staff is great, so welcoming, and so appreciative of their customers. The food is delicious and always so fresh. They are very good with my allergy to gluten and serving me food that is safe for me to eat. The owner is so sweet and I always look forward to seeing her. The sushi is my favorite in the area by far!Dietary restrictions: They have gluten free soy sauce for sushi and can also make some dishes gluten free, such as fried rice and rice noodle dishes.“

“They don’t Japanese make restaurants like this anymore! I loved it all. The servers were kind & quick, the atmosphere was very old school, and the food was fantastic for a good price. It was lovely. I’ll definitely be going back. Don’t. Change. Anything.“

“Given the ~$25pp price point, the selection (e.g. sushi, sashimi, hibachi, standard buffet options, etc.), a clean restaurant, attentive service (though it was an empty restaurant when we went for lunch), and the quality being higher than what you would expect if I said "sushi buffet", this earns its above average rating. Not a must stop for any one item as it doesn't excel at any one thing, but it delivers decently on many fronts. It won't convert you if you aren't into trying many items or a buffet person generally, but if you fit that category I'd be surprised if you were disappointed. If you are solely coming for the sushi/sashimi, there are AYCE places that specialize in that area that will be better suited for you (e.g. Sushi House, Sushi Palace, Sushi X2, etc.). The waiter robot is a cool concept and appeared to work well, though it didn't wait on us while we were there.“

“Took my family to Edo to celebrate my daughter’s 12th birthday. Super fun place and delicious food with huge portions. They sang and give a dessert to the birthday girl and even took her picture and gave her a print of it which was an awesome touch. One watch out is they are very quick to refill drinks and the refills are not free.“
