50 Best Pizza Restaurants near Oxford

“Used to go here all the time; over the years, got away. Had guests coming in from Portugal. Ordered sausage and mushrooms, route 67 and hawaiian pies. Fabulous! Outstanding. Company debated which pie was the best and there was no clear cut favorite. This family has been tremendous serving Oxford for years. We will not go anywhere else again. This is our go to pizza restaurant.“

“Good food excellent service.“

“Love this restaurant. Favorite place in town I make homemade cheese and can't even come close to their house made ricotta. So rich and creamy. Love the pizzas. Definitely recommend!“

“Our first time at Volo and I am speechless it’s so amazing experience beyond all expectations the food was superb I highly recommend it for everyone , from the view of the airport runway to the decoration inside the happy hour a must try I can’t wait to go back“

“Went with my mother to get us a nice treat. The ribeye steak is something you cannot pass on from the perfect medium cook to the grill sear on it! I had a side of Alfredo pasta to go with it and it was so pleasant. My mother had the Eggplant over Penne Ala Vodka sauce, she loved it. The bread + salad & the customer service made it all better. Will definitely be back“

“Wonderful in every way“

“Tried Pizzaro’s Pizzeria for the first time. My wife and I shared a large antipasta salad and a large cheese pizza with garlic, half pepperoni and half broccoli. Everything was great. While this is more a takeout place they have large booths and the service was excellent. The salad was awesome and so large we took 1/4 of it home. The pizza was excellent. Thin crust with a delicious sauce. I’m not a fan of the outer crust but this was so good I ate everything. I highly recommend their pizza. We have to go back and try their subs and meals as I witnessed many people getting these and pizza for takeout. I give it five stars. We will be back.“

“Large pizza great deal best price best around“

“awesome pie“

“We had the most wonderful experience at Caloroso Eatery & Bar. Unbeknownst to me, my family planned a surprise birthday party and had it at Caloroso’s in early December. Because the weather was still good, the party took place in the Sky Terrace…the space was very inviting and large enough to accommodate the 33 of us! Ashley and others of the Caloroso team made sure that no one went thirsty or hungry! The buffet of chicken parm, chicken marsala, pasta, salad, and more was totally delicious and plentiful! The large screen in the room made it possible for all to see the birthday trivia game through which I relived lots of happy memories and milestones! I had no idea what was waiting for me when I walked up the stairs and went through the doors into the Sky Terrace…and I’ll never forget the SURPRISE experience! Thank you, family, and thank you Caloroso team for helping to make the day a cherished lifelong memory!!“

“Best pizza ever. Even better Pepes“

“Amazing Vegan pizza.“

“Finally stopped in and wish we stopped in earlier. the Italian ice left me speechless and my oldest is making a list of flavors to try. service was amazing that I felt like a regular. can't wait to come back“

“I don’t know what they changed, but suddenly their pizza is out of this world! I have been eating at Miranda’s for 25 years. It has always been good food quality, But I don’t know if they got a new chef or changed the recipe, but the pizza is Travel worthy, meaning is worth driving an hour. The staff is wonderful. The building is old, but they have remodeled it and it kind of adds to the atmosphere.“

“A great local pub and craft beer spot with a fantastic selection, and good prices!“

“Delicious food !! Friendly staff and great service! We love Southford Pizza!! I’m a Gluten Free girl and they got me covered as well!! Good Stuff! 👍🍕🍽😊❤️“

“Can't really rate this place as we were only there to play lotto but, I was impressed with the look of things and the gentleman who helped us was friendly and helpful. I'm thinking if I need to buy alcohol for an event, I'd go there. Definitely be back for lotto!“

“The best! That’s all you need to know“

“Wow! Got a tip from a buddy that this place was lights out. I grabbed a clam casino on the way home. What a pie! The place is spotless clean inside. Super nice people. The pizza was fantastic and LOADED with toppings. Super delicious thin crust. Beautiful bar inside. If this pizza was this good on a 9° night by the time I made it home, I can’t even imagine how good it will be eating it there. Can’t wait to go back.“

“You guys rock! Great service, great food.“

“TL/DR: Slightly above average food taste, but a nice chill spot with friendly staff. And relatively moderately priced for lunch. Got a specialty slice and a can of coke for $5.50, so pretty good!

Stopped in to grab a slice quick omw between jobs. Friendly staff and decent selection of pies to choose from. Pizza I got was a white pie with chicken, broccoli, and I'd assume garlic and such... it was ... DECENT for sure. WISH that they had a Margerita pizza for a sllice, but wasn't that lucky... womp womp... Nothing to write home about, but ABSOLUTELY much better than most places in the valley and chain establishments. FOOD WAS 3.5/3.75, but no option for half stars... again, even crappy pizza is still pizza...but this WASN'T crappy by any means, just a LITTLE bland IMO. Would DEF stop in again to try a grinder or a red pie.“

“Son super atento la pizza son super buena me encantan se la recomiendo“

“I can't get enough of this place. The food is fantastic and the staff is super friendly.“

“This is some of the best pizza around. Absolutely fantastic pizza, always consistent, fast service, and welcoming environment. To my surprise, the pricing here isn’t even high. It’s actually well worth it. Highly recommend.“

“Hands-down the best Italian food I have ever had—and I do not say that lightly. I would absolutely drive 8 hours just to eat here again. That’s how good it was. I started with the burrata appetizer, served with baby arugula, fire-roasted red peppers, and prosciutto. Fresh, creamy, perfectly balanced. For entrées, I had the linguini with veal meatballs and I also tried the pan-seared scallops over cheese ravioli, with baby spinach, sun-dried tomatoes and wild mushrooms. This dish alone deserves its own standing ovation. This is the kind of place that reminds you what really good Italian food is supposed to taste like. So if you’re anywhere near Southbury or honestly anywhere in Connecticut, go. And if you’re 8 hours away like me? Still go. It’s worth it“

“I don’t think I’ve ever had a buffalo chicken salad as good as this one. Everything tasted fresh, all the products in the salad. They also served it with bread and butter which came out steaming hot and also tasted like homemade bread. Really was spectacular food.“

“We ordered for the first time today; chicken fajitas, cheese quesadilla, beef teriyaki and fried rice. Staff was very friendly, good prices and quick prep... Can't wait to try them again!“

“great pizza I definitely recommend them I like their homemade sauce pizza sauce and I love their bacon pizza it's real bacon not the fake stuff in their pepperoni is good too on the pizza I get other times when I have gone there“

“I got a jumbo slice and a bottle of water for $4 the pizza taste delicious, I suggest everyone to try it out, can’t beat the taste and price, I can’t wait to try their gourmet pizza in the glass display“

“Stopped by for the first time after catching Spider-Man at Riverview Cinemas, and we are so glad we did! Grabbed a couple of slices each—the pizza was delicious and the place was spotless. Beyond the great food, the staff made our visit special; some employees eating lunch next to us kindly shared a plate of their delicious Mexican food with us. Incredible hospitality and great pizza. They deliver, too! We’ll definitely be back.“
