“Used to go here all the time; over the years, got away. Had guests coming in from Portugal. Ordered sausage and mushrooms, route 67 and hawaiian pies. Fabulous! Outstanding. Company debated which pie was the best and there was no clear cut favorite. This family has been tremendous serving Oxford for years. We will not go anywhere else again. This is our go to pizza restaurant.“

“I cannot express how thankful I am to roses this weekend. My son’s birthday party was canceled with less than a 12 hour notice. I made one phone call and OG said we got you. They were able to get a party of 30 moved and setup in that time they chose an amazing spread of food for us so I could relax and just worry about the party itself and activities for the kids. We had Jamie as our server and the party went perfectly. My son said it was the best day ever. It was an amazing experience and perfect day.“

“Tried Pizzaro’s Pizzeria for the first time. My wife and I shared a large antipasta salad and a large cheese pizza with garlic, half pepperoni and half broccoli. Everything was great. While this is more a takeout place they have large booths and the service was excellent. The salad was awesome and so large we took 1/4 of it home. The pizza was excellent. Thin crust with a delicious sauce. I’m not a fan of the outer crust but this was so good I ate everything. I highly recommend their pizza. We have to go back and try their subs and meals as I witnessed many people getting these and pizza for takeout. I give it five stars. We will be back.“

“Wow! Got a tip from a buddy that this place was lights out. I grabbed a clam casino on the way home. What a pie! The place is spotless clean inside. Super nice people. The pizza was fantastic and LOADED with toppings. Super delicious thin crust. Beautiful bar inside. If this pizza was this good on a 9° night by the time I made it home, I can’t even imagine how good it will be eating it there. Can’t wait to go back.“

“Hands-down the best Italian food I have ever had—and I do not say that lightly. I would absolutely drive 8 hours just to eat here again. That’s how good it was. I started with the burrata appetizer, served with baby arugula, fire-roasted red peppers, and prosciutto. Fresh, creamy, perfectly balanced. For entrées, I had the linguini with veal meatballs and I also tried the pan-seared scallops over cheese ravioli, with baby spinach, sun-dried tomatoes and wild mushrooms. This dish alone deserves its own standing ovation. This is the kind of place that reminds you what really good Italian food is supposed to taste like. So if you’re anywhere near Southbury or honestly anywhere in Connecticut, go. And if you’re 8 hours away like me? Still go. It’s worth it“

“we just popped in tonight for a quick bite. we were feeling hopeful that they would make a good pie. we wound up blown away! we ordered two pizzas... a large half cheese / half meatball and then a small with peppers and sausage. the pizza was absolutely delicious and all four of us agreed this was some of the best pizza we'd ever had! superb flavor and great and friendly service by the owner himself! cannot wait to be back!“

Stopped in to grab a slice quick omw between jobs. Friendly staff and decent selection of pies to choose from. Pizza I got was a white pie with chicken, broccoli, and I'd assume garlic and such... it was ... DECENT for sure. WISH that they had a Margerita pizza for a sllice, but wasn't that lucky... womp womp... Nothing to write home about, but ABSOLUTELY much better than most places in the valley and chain establishments. FOOD WAS 3.5/3.75, but no option for half stars... again, even crappy pizza is still pizza...but this WASN'T crappy by any means, just a LITTLE bland IMO. Would DEF stop in again to try a grinder or a red pie.“

“We had the most wonderful experience at Caloroso Eatery & Bar. Unbeknownst to me, my family planned a surprise birthday party and had it at Caloroso’s in early December. Because the weather was still good, the party took place in the Sky Terrace…the space was very inviting and large enough to accommodate the 33 of us! Ashley and others of the Caloroso team made sure that no one went thirsty or hungry! The buffet of chicken parm, chicken marsala, pasta, salad, and more was totally delicious and plentiful! The large screen in the room made it possible for all to see the birthday trivia game through which I relived lots of happy memories and milestones! I had no idea what was waiting for me when I walked up the stairs and went through the doors into the Sky Terrace…and I’ll never forget the SURPRISE experience! Thank you, family, and thank you Caloroso team for helping to make the day a cherished lifelong memory!!“

“Went there today the owner was pretty nice and very compassionate they have real great deals. My bank card wasn’t working and he allowed me to go home call him and pay him. Raj the owner is so kind and we had a lovely chat in their new Southampton location, which has a full bar and a sophisticated and grand dining area. I could taste the difference. But why don't you print this on your slogan, I asked Raj. It is rare to find a pizza shop dedicated to quality ingredients. The flavor of the flour and cheese is so satisfying in taste and in knowing it's the good stuff. In case you did not realize most other pizza shops do not care about this flour quality like Raj of American Pie. Google it. Unbromated flour is flour produced without potassium bromate, a chemical oxidizing agent commonly used to improve dough elasticity but linked to potential health risks, including cancer. It offers a cleaner, more natural alternative that retains natural wheat flavor, often resulting in slightly off-white, robust, and nutrient-dense baked goods perfect for health conscious Pizza Lovers like myself and probably you, too. Plus the cheese! Wisconsin wow. It is NY flat pizza so you probably will not see Michigan based Madonna in the shop, but I hear she does orders from American Pie for her guests. “we love the pizza and come often however the prices are always changing and its starting to get me pretty upset. the menu on the website says a medium 1 topping is $13.95 or cheese is $11.50 plus $2.75 for chicken-or- the 2 mediums for $ 18.95 plus the up.charge for one topping (2.75). I ordered 1 medium cheese and 1 medium grilled chicken and was charged over $25. plus the tip.one pizza was 12.50 and the other was over $14 plus $6.50 for chicken.“
