“Wow! Got a tip from a buddy that this place was lights out. I grabbed a clam casino on the way home. What a pie! The place is spotless clean inside. Super nice people. The pizza was fantastic and LOADED with toppings. Super delicious thin crust. Beautiful bar inside. If this pizza was this good on a 9° night by the time I made it home, I can’t even imagine how good it will be eating it there. Can’t wait to go back.“

“Every time we choose Antonio’s for date night, it’s a win! The staff and the owner are always warm and welcoming and the service is always just right. And then there’s the food! They have one of the best chicken cutlets I’ve ever tasted and their Alfredo sauce is out of this world!“

They were warm, attentive, and genuinely kind. We happened to be eating with two toddlers who were definitely not having their best day, but the team handled it with so much patience and understanding. “Stopped into Brick Oven as a suggestion from my high school buddy who lives in New Haven. Will be a place I frequent going forward in my travels to New Haven. The pizza was great but the customer service was even greater.. “This is the tenth person I put on to this place. He was sooooo in love with the margarita pizza. Usually I get the shrimp pesto (my favorite) but I didn’t want to scare him. You would’ve thought he was going crazy while eating. Thank for the many years I’ve came it turned out perfect :)“

“Ricotta's catering service is wonderful! We are from out of state and were organizing a Shiva lunch for family living near New Haven. Given that we only had a day to plan, time was very tight and we didn't know where to turn. Luckily, Ricotta's was recommended. Sarah was great - she was flexible, willing to deliver, arranged the food beautifully, and everything was delicious. Guests, in particular, loved the sushi, the pita sandwiches and the pastries. When visiting, we can't wait to eat at the restaurant and to hopefully use the catering service for a happier event. We highly recommend them!“

“Tried Pizzaro’s Pizzeria for the first time. My wife and I shared a large antipasta salad and a large cheese pizza with garlic, half pepperoni and half broccoli. Everything was great. While this is more a takeout place they have large booths and the service was excellent. The salad was awesome and so large we took 1/4 of it home. The pizza was excellent. Thin crust with a delicious sauce. I’m not a fan of the outer crust but this was so good I ate everything. I highly recommend their pizza. We have to go back and try their subs and meals as I witnessed many people getting these and pizza for takeout. I give it five stars. We will be back.“

“We had the most wonderful experience at Caloroso Eatery & Bar. Unbeknownst to me, my family planned a surprise birthday party and had it at Caloroso’s in early December. Because the weather was still good, the party took place in the Sky Terrace…the space was very inviting and large enough to accommodate the 33 of us! Ashley and others of the Caloroso team made sure that no one went thirsty or hungry! The buffet of chicken parm, chicken marsala, pasta, salad, and more was totally delicious and plentiful! The large screen in the room made it possible for all to see the birthday trivia game through which I relived lots of happy memories and milestones! I had no idea what was waiting for me when I walked up the stairs and went through the doors into the Sky Terrace…and I’ll never forget the SURPRISE experience! “Used to go here all the time; over the years, got away. Had guests coming in from Portugal. Ordered sausage and mushrooms, route 67 and hawaiian pies. Fabulous! Outstanding. Company debated which pie was the best and there was no clear cut favorite. This family has been tremendous serving Oxford for years. We will not go anywhere else again. This is our go to pizza restaurant.“

“Catering Party @ Sally’s Apizza Fairfield On Saturday September 13, 2025, we celebrated our 50th Wedding Anniversary. The food, service and staff were phenomenal. We all know how great the pizza is, but the appetizers and salads were equally great. I can’t say enough about the wonderful servers, Dan and Brandon. There were efficient, kind, friendly and polite. They went out of their way to insure everyone was having a great time. The bartenders and other staff went a long way to help make everyone enjoy the party. I also want to thank the General Manager, James Layfield and the Catering Manager, Helen Blanchard for their exceptional service and hospitality. “TL/DR: Slightly above average food taste, but a nice chill spot with friendly staff. And relatively moderately priced for lunch. Got a specialty slice and a can of coke for $5.50, so pretty good!

Stopped in to grab a slice quick omw between jobs. Friendly staff and decent selection of pies to choose from. Pizza I got was a white pie with chicken, broccoli, and I'd assume garlic and such... it was ... DECENT for sure. WISH that they had a Margerita pizza for a sllice, but wasn't that lucky... womp womp... Nothing to write home about, but ABSOLUTELY much better than most places in the valley and chain establishments. FOOD WAS 3.5/3.75, but no option for half stars... again, even crappy pizza is still pizza...but this WASN'T crappy by any means, just a LITTLE bland IMO. Would DEF stop in again to try a grinder or a red pie.“

“I walked here from the train station one night when my train was delayed and it was very easy to walk to from the train station. The lady behind the counter was very helpful and I wanted a chicken Parm and fries so she suggested the perfect combo that was affordable for what I wanted. She was very accommodating to my cravings and made the food to go so I could sit down and eat but take it to go if I didn't finish and needed to catch the train“
