“Dr. Mike's Ice Cream is BY FAR the best ice cream I have ever had anywhere. No contest. I have been eating it for at least 25 years, and my conviction about this has never wavered. At all. Ever. I moved back to CT from Portland, OR about 2 1/2 years ago (lived there for about 5) and Dr. Mike's was prominent on the list of reasons I moved back. Portland is a food town, and nothing there is in the remote vicinity of Dr. Mike's. Salt and Straw, which has lines of customers around the corner in Portland, is NOTHING compared to Dr. Mike's. I just wish the new owner would pry the original recipe for blueberry ice cream from Robert Allison because Robert Allison changed it a few years before he sold and it is a pale shadow of its former greatness. The original blueberry was maybe the best thing I've ever eaten. But all the core flavors and many of the experimental new flavors are just phenomenal. Best ice cream on the planet.“

“Excellent frozen yogurt, so good that people stop by for some even when it’s cold out! I had what they consider a small (large in my opinion) combination of three flavors of frozen yogurt: salted caramel, cotton candy and pistachio. It was terrific! So good I’d gladly have another! They also offer coffee, tea and more. Their service is great and because they’re in a mall there is plenty of parking, too. I will be back! Highly recommended!“

“This place is amazing, I stopped to get some ice cream for me and my friend and got the best costumer service. it was the best, they always remember know your oder which is surprisingly outstanding for ice cream shops and all the people are so loving and the manager was so kind and caring he greets all the customers with a big smile 😊, very good manager. The team looks like a family all coordinated and caring and surprisingly very quick. The ice cream was good I got a banana split and the flavors were out of this world. They also have a buffet style service if you are in a hurry on you want something quick to go. Bread is yummy, they have conchas and a lot of sweet bread that you can get. The quiche with the zucchini is amazing and the jelly cookies are very fresh on Sunday mornings. The Greenwich location is also great. In fact, I needed a cookie platter delivered on Greenwich Avenue and her son went out in the pouring rain to deliver it on time. Great addition to Westport.“

“I say yes and no to recommendations. I recommend only the burgers. Don't order the chicken sandwich. Today we tried chicken sandwiches. Big disappointment. Menu picture looked great. Nice chunk of chicken on a fluffy roll. What we got resembled a chicken cracker on a smashed roll with a smear of mayonnaise and 3 slivers of pickle. I've been there 3 times now and the staff messed up orders all three times. Not just mine, but other customers as well. Although the will do their best to rectify the mistakes.“
