“Wonderful food, so accommodating“

“Tried Pizzaro’s Pizzeria for the first time. My wife and I shared a large antipasta salad and a large cheese pizza with garlic, half pepperoni and half broccoli. Everything was great. While this is more a takeout place they have large booths and the service was excellent. The salad was awesome and so large we took 1/4 of it home. The pizza was excellent. Thin crust with a delicious sauce. I’m not a fan of the outer crust but this was so good I ate everything. I highly recommend their pizza. We have to go back and try their subs and meals as I witnessed many people getting these and pizza for takeout. I give it five stars. We will be back.“

“My boyfriend and I couldn’t decide what to eat for dinner - we were going back & fourth between Indian & Italian lol then he said Thai! We googled Thai in our area & this is literally down the road from us. We got the Thai sampler platter, the spicy noodles with chicken and a mango sticky rice. 10/10. It’s definitely my new food fixation. Everything was cooked perfectly. Seasoned perfectly. & the guy who took my order on the phone was very patient and helpful. I don’t usually write reviews - but I had to for this one. We’ll be back very soon :)“

“Somehow managed to get this far in life without trying (to my recollection) a real New Haven slice. Well today was the day, as I ended up in CT for work and was looking for a quick bite.

The pizza was pretty darn good. Solid undercarriage, excellent crisp, and the overall taste was very good. The price (for 2 slices and a drink) was also extremely reasonable. Plus, the guy behind the counter was super friendly. I will definitely be returning if I end up in this area again.

I'm sure some would argue that there are better New Haven slices out there but for a first experience, I came away impressed. I would highly recommend this place!“

“So we stopped there cause my friend was buying a car from someone and that's the parking lot they choose to meet. I've never even been to that part of CT before. I had the chicken quesadilla, OMG the chicken was seasoned and cooked amazingly. The tortilla was toasted perfectly (and it was huge) great overall meal. My friend had a couple different tacos which he said were amazing. Even our waiter was friendly, willing to give his preferences, he would check on us to make sure we were good. Haven't had good experiences for awhile now so this was a nice change. Hopefully I'll have a reason to visit that part of CT so I can stop there again. Definitely worth the time to check out.“

“Stopped into Brick Oven as a suggestion from my high school buddy who lives in New Haven. Will be a place I frequent going forward in my travels to New Haven. The pizza was great but the customer service was even greater.. The owner actually took the time to converse with us and to have good pizza and good customer service puts this spot high on my list of places to go period. Da prez“

“I came here a few months ago with my boyfriend. We went on a Friday night and the wait wasn’t too long.

First, We received complimentary sides. My favorite was the kimchi. It was so good.

Then we ordered Korean Fried Chicken, Tteokbokki, and a pork dish (I don’t remember the name). Everything was so good!! We really liked the flavor of the Korean Fried Chicken. We’ve been to other Korean places and it seems like every place has their own unique flavor which we really like. I wish that the chicken had more meat on it, but the plating was aesthetically pleasing. The portions for everything were generous. Our meal also came with complimentary sushi. I don’t really care for sushi but it wasn’t bad at all. My boyfriend loved it.

The service was great. The staff was so kind to us and always made sure we had everything we needed.

Overall, we had a great experience and we would definitely come here again.“

“My husband surprised me with a dinner gathering at Red Lotus. Immediately upon walking in we were greeted by two staff members and the owner Larry. Gary was our server who I must say was by far the best server we have ever had. Gary and Larry truly made us feel like we were the only ones there (they had a full house) the food was delicious we were a party of 8 and all had different plates none of us were disappointed with our food. The presentation of the plates were beautiful! Larry made sure to come to our table and assure we were satisfied with our food and service took time out to talk with us and build a relationship. “Beer is good but we are saddened that they will no longer have the card purchase for $50 for 11 beers. It was a good value. This may deter us from coming. If it is not working for black hog maybe raise price of card a little? We love the beer but beer is becoming expensive at all of the breweries. Answered all questions we had, made accommodations requested by a 6 year old with 0 hesitation or annoyance, the food was great and came out as quickly as the bread, my stepson had requested an additional side not listed on the kids menu and she didn't even bat an eyelash making it happen for him.
