“Wonderful food, so accommodating“

“Tried Pizzaro’s Pizzeria for the first time. My wife and I shared a large antipasta salad and a large cheese pizza with garlic, half pepperoni and half broccoli. Everything was great. While this is more a takeout place they have large booths and the service was excellent. The salad was awesome and so large we took 1/4 of it home. The pizza was excellent. Thin crust with a delicious sauce. I’m not a fan of the outer crust but this was so good I ate everything. I highly recommend their pizza. We have to go back and try their subs and meals as I witnessed many people getting these and pizza for takeout. I give it five stars. We will be back.“

“My boyfriend and I couldn’t decide what to eat for dinner - we were going back & fourth between Indian & Italian lol then he said Thai! We googled Thai in our area & this is literally down the road from us. We got the Thai sampler platter, the spicy noodles with chicken and a mango sticky rice. 10/10. It’s definitely my new food fixation. Everything was cooked perfectly. Seasoned perfectly. & the guy who took my order on the phone was very patient and helpful. I don’t usually write reviews - but I had to for this one. We’ll be back very soon :)“

“We ordered two pies one white chicken and broccoli and one red sauce with meatball and mushroom. They were both delicious and we noticed that both pies had a gorgonzola flavor which we liked but wondered if that was their secret ingredient? It was mild and buttery and I never thought it could be a thing until we had this.“

“So we stopped there cause my friend was buying a car from someone and that's the parking lot they choose to meet. I've never even been to that part of CT before. I had the chicken quesadilla, OMG the chicken was seasoned and cooked amazingly. The tortilla was toasted perfectly (and it was huge) great overall meal. My friend had a couple different tacos which he said were amazing. Even our waiter was friendly, willing to give his preferences, he would check on us to make sure we were good. Haven't had good experiences for awhile now so this was a nice change. Hopefully I'll have a reason to visit that part of CT so I can stop there again. Definitely worth the time to check out.“

“Stopped into Brick Oven as a suggestion from my high school buddy who lives in New Haven. Will be a place I frequent going forward in my travels to New Haven. The pizza was great but the customer service was even greater.. The owner actually took the time to converse with us and to have good pizza and good customer service puts this spot high on my list of places to go period. Da prez“

Excellent food, good staff, and the decor is well appointed.

I had the Gun ManDu fried (aka gyoza / pot stickers) and the assorted dishes they bring for appetizers, and the JjajangMyeon (Noodles with Black Soy Bean sauce) for the entree.

With a beer and my wife's dinner of O jing-eo Dolsotbibimbab (Squid Stone Pot Bibimbap) it came to under $50.

We will be returning with friends and family.“

“excellent service! everyone on staff is super friendly and prompt and attentive! excellent espresso! (I had 2!). I loved the cup and saucer so much I put a pic in this review! excellent caprese panini !. the ingredients are very fresh, and the whole thing is grilled perfectly! the curly fries were perfectly crispy! so good I didn't even dip in ketchup as I usually do with fries! just a little pepper on top. the pickle was fresh and the coleslaw was excellent! a little extra vinegary but perfect! odd extra thought: the salt and pepper shakers have hinged lids which helps to keep moisture out and prevent spills if tipped over. It reminded me of when I was growing up how my grandmother put rice grains in the salt shaker to help with humidity.“

“My husband surprised me with a dinner gathering at Red Lotus. Immediately upon walking in we were greeted by two staff members and the owner Larry. Gary was our server who I must say was by far the best server we have ever had. Gary and Larry truly made us feel like we were the only ones there (they had a full house) the food was delicious we were a party of 8 and all had different plates none of us were disappointed with our food. The presentation of the plates were beautiful! Larry made sure to come to our table and assure we were satisfied with our food and service took time out to talk with us and build a relationship. “This restaurant is lmost hidden in a small strip mall, just a quarter mile from the Orange West Haven line, this family run, friendly Taqueria is definitely a hidden gem. As you walk inside the vibrant colors and ambience surround you with hand painted Mexican scenes on the tables, carved colorful chairs and warmth from the friendly staff. There are only about 12 or so tables. The food servings are generous and full of fresh vegetables, cheese and delicious well cooked meat. It is a great place for a relaxed meal or take-out. “This was a wonderful experience for my stepson and I. Christy was probably the nicest waitress I have encountered in my life. Answered all questions we had, made accommodations requested by a 6 year old with 0 hesitation or annoyance, the food was great and came out as quickly as the bread, my stepson had requested an additional side not listed on the kids menu and she didn't even bat an eyelash making it happen for him.
