“Our reunion planning committee has been coming to Lakeside many times to plan for our reunion. The outside atmosphere has been perfect! Dardan was an excellent waiter and a lot of fun. “Tenth Hole Tavern is the best spot for casual dining/takeout this side of Glastonbury. Their food is excellent and the staff really knows how to show the customers a good time. Kendall and Kelly are the nicest and are very accommodating. Not to mention the full bar, expansive beer selection, and wide variety on the menu. Some of my personal favorites include the chicken tenders (with their house made buffalo sauce), the buttermilk chicken sandwich, and the oven roasted turkey wrap. Don’t sleep on the brick oven pizza either. Tenth Hole Tavern has earned a special place in my heart❤️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

In a very lively area.
We got the :
-Cowboy burger itg side of fries - good burger,the bacon was super crispy
-Ahi tuna burger with a side of calslaw- surprisingly juicy and the seasoning was delicious.And the slaw was very tasty
-Buffalo shrimp - just YUM
-Egg plant fries - not my favorite,was a bit too oily,the bayter is too heavy for the eggplant
Washed it ll down with a vanilla milkshake

“I just went to Country Kitchen and bought 2 chili cheese hot dogs for my co-worker and myself, it was "hot dog" day after all :-) Our office staff has gone there many times and loves the food. The mom and her son, Dave are so sweet! Nice to see a family business. Not only do you get GREAT food, but great service with a smile! Can't ask for more......Thanks for being right down the street from us!!“

“I was a little taken back at first but the setup just adds to the atmosphere of this place. The people were fast, attentive and the meatball calzone was soooo good. Huge calzone! I ate half for lunch and the other half for dinner. It tastes like it was made fresh as well as the pizza sauce. Delicious!“

“Red rock is a great place to gather and have a delicious meal. They have great rotating specials and a menu that can accommodate a wide array of diets. Some of my favorite items they serve are eggplant Parmesan, their homemade hummus, all of their salads, and any pasta dish they serve.“

“Cannot say enough good things about The Hollow. Whether you are a golfer or not the restaurant should be added to your regular rotation. The food is top notch, everything on the menu is fantastic. My favorites are the loaded potato chips and the Brit burger. The staff is friendly, the drinks are perfect and everything is reasonably priced (especially here in 2022). Did i mention the view from the patio is beautiful? This restaurant is a must taste!“

“Came in around 6p on a Sunday so it wasn’t busy. The inside is what you’d expect for similar restaurants; darker ambiance , booths and tables, and outdoor seating as well. We were sat and addressed quickly, placing an order for drinks and an app. We then chose two entrees to share. For an old fashioned, a glass of Prosecco, an egg roll appetizer, a Cobb salad, and a steak sandwich with fries came to about $90 (with tip).

Our waitress was attentive without being invasive; she was quick and friendly .

My only complaint is the sticky table.

“We booked The Tavern for our October 2021 wedding right before the pandemic hit. Throughout the entire planning process and hundreds of questions, Jasmine was always readily available via email or text up until wedding day (even when we became date twins). Everything came out beautiful, the set up for dinner and our ceremony was perfect! The grounds were perfect for our pictures. Everyone loved the appetizers during cocktail hour and our cake was delicious. We had a few mishaps during our dinner, but we didn’t let that fog the happiest day of our lives. Jasmine also quickly took action and made things right. They will likely be my go-to for other events because ours was greatly executed with the help of my in-laws, Lynne (sorry if I spelled it wrong), and Jasmine. My favorite thing about having them as our venue was that we didn’t have to clean up anything or set up anything. Lynne made sure things were arranged accordingly and brought my vision to life. Even when we had to create a back up plan because of weather Jasmine and Lynne helped to calm my nerves about the last minute changes.“

They should solve that if it is not too much to ask and perhaps explain a little more specifically how to order and pay for the food in the establishment. restaurant, I think the young women do a good job.“

“Sister’s is a small and cozy neighborhood cafe located in the north end of Hartford that feels very homey. Great food, good vibes, and friendly service. The menu is a blend of Jamaican and Black American comfort food. I started to get the ackee and salt fish but stuck with an old southern favorite my grandma used to make. The fish and grits with a side of eggs didn’t disappoint! The fish was seasoned and fried perfectly and the grits were buttery and soft. I’ll be back the next time I’m in town.“

A group of 4 of us were traveling through the area and needed a good place for Dinner …We called and made a reservation , the owner Al was very personable on the phone .We arrived for dinner and he had our name on table , and he introduced himself …We had a couple of beers while he explained the menu to us ….we Decided on a couple of appetizers and also a small pizza to sample before ordering our dinner . The appetizers arrived and were very good, but the star of the show was definitely the pizza , so much flavor … the crust was to die for light and airy and so much crunch in the crust !!!! Next was the Dinner - Chicken Francaise , Chicken Parm , Chicken Marsala , Fettuccini Carbonaro .All meals arrived hot and were Delicious …We also got to meets Al’s Daughter who was very personable just like her Father ….We wished we had this Restaurant in our community . “I haven't been there for probably twenty years. My ex wife's grandmother would take us there. I decided to bring my almost adult children there. A very old school restaurant. You get the choice of soup af the day or salad. I was a little apprehensive ordering the chicken marsala. Many times I have let down eating it without the marsala flavor. I know how to cook. The wine has to be reduced by 3/4 to get the taste. I asked the waiter if they did indeed reduce it. He told me yes. I wasn't disappointed with my selection. My son ordered a New York strip. Me was satisfied. I was happy to see his hony mustard was only used for his fries. My daughter ordered something Italian. Not sure what it was, but it was like 3 servings. A restaurant that has been in business for many years. This tells me that they are doing something right, as with our dinner.“
