“I feel it’s important to share Three Figs is under new management and has made quite a turnaround. I waited until I experienced several successful visits before writing this review so I could be certain in my recommendation. I’ve now dined in a small group, a larger group, in the dining room, in the bar and as part of a civic group banquet in the back room. Each time, I have been pleased and satisfied. The food has been delicious (both regular menu and specials) and the service prompt & exceptional. I find the atmosphere warm & welcoming, reminding me of Cheers (the neighborhood place where everybody knows your name). Our dinner this past week was a positive experience in specific ways. We didn’t have a reservation and the parking lot was packed. Yet our wait was surprisingly short, and enjoyable at the bar with friendly service. Once in the dining room, our server was kind, helpful and happy…and very accommodating when a substitution was requested on an order at our table. The manager even helped serve our plates and made sure we were all enjoying our experience. Noting that the staff worked well together and were all happy…it implies that working there must be positive for them as well. The restaurant itself was also very clean and comfortable. In the past, I could not have shared these same words and had nearly given up on this local, convenient spot. So it pleases me very much to see the new management has turned it around. Having a great spot so close by is appreciated. Congrats Three Figs…your efforts are worth it!“

“We went for our Anniversary and it was perfect! We dined in the Tavern near the fireplace. The staff was so very attentive to our needs and friendly! The food was outstanding! Every bite was filled with unique flavors. The Salmon was the best Ive had! My salad of greens with white balsamic was perfectly seasoned with spices. The Chef is amazing as well as the pastry chef. The deserts ended our already perfect meal with two happy patrons! For sure to return!“

“Been going here for over a decade, and Harvest remains the best breakfast/brunch/bakery in the area. They have fresh baked items in the bakery case daily that are priced reasonably, and their scones are THE BEST with great flavor and spot-on texture. Dining in, I always enjoy the Farmer's Benedict with a side of fresh baked sourdough toast. I prefer my eggs poached hard, and they gladly accommodate this request. On top of the most amazing food, the friendly staff, great service, and a cozy atmosphere makes every experience dining in a pleasure!“

“Don't Forget about having Lunch at Tucker's Restaurant! Today I had a Wonderful Meal that consisted of Homemade New England Clam Chowder for starters. Then for my Main Meal, I had their Cordon Blue with famous Roasted Red Pepper Sauce. The Mashed Potatoes, Roasted Broccoli, and Cauliflower, while prepared simply tasted Fresh and Delicious. “These folks are amazing!! My daughter and her fiancée hired them to cater their wedding. The staff went out of their way to make everyone happy, bringing coffee out early when the weather was much colder than anyone expected in mid June. Chef Jeff Daigneau did everything in his power to make everything perfect, including making pizzas in the pouring rain. The BEST!!!“

“I love it here! I’ve ordered in person, online, and over the phone. It is equally delicious every single time. I’ve never missed here. My favorite items are the Cran Wally wrap and the pilgrim sandwich. Generous portions, always well made. I wish I had photos but I always eat it before I get the chance to take one. The staff is very helpful and polite, very clean environment inside. Really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu!“

“We are from Rhode Island and were in the area to visit Six Flags. Found Marks Restaurant using Google maps for breakfast near me. The food was excellent. The homemade bread was even better. Probably not a common comment, but my view of the kitchen from the register it’s a very clean and neat setup. “We ended up here due to our intended restaurant being closed. It was the BEST mistake ever. The food was amazing! Everything came out hot and fresh. Julie (the owner) answered all our questions about the restaurant, shared her and her husband's story and it truly felt like we were dining with family. We had the brussel sprouts, mac n cheese, potatoes, yams and garlic chicken. And then Julie brought us churros for Cinco de Mayo! It was hard to pick just one meal off this menu. I wish my conference was longer so I had another night to come back and try more. “Everyone kept telling me how good Friendly's Cafe was so me and my youngest tried it.

I got the honey BBQ burger it looked delicious on the menu. When I received the burger it looked nothing like the one on the menu. The meat wasn't even cooked all the way even after asking for well done. It didn't taste like BBQ at all. I did not like this burger. The waffle fries were delicious.

My daughter ordered the mozzarella cheese sticks. They tasted okay but would have been better with ranch. She loved the apple sauce.

After dinner we decided to try the ice cream. My daughter had the reindeer chocolate ice cream and I ordered a peanut butter sundae but with dairy free raspberry sherbet. The ice cream was super delicious.

The service was great, no complaints.

The atmosphere was different from all the rest, it was modern and clean.

The best thing was the ice cream and I would go here again just for the ice cream.“

“Krispy Krunchy Chicken, 190 E. Eau Gallie Blvd., Indian Harbor Beach, FL 32937 You 4 Stars (chain restaurant review) Instead of going for a quick Burger or Taco, why not mix it up a bit and head over to your local KKC and change up the routine? Yes, I said KKC, not KFC. The one my random name generator directed me to in Indian Harbor Beach, FL, is 1 of over 2,700 locations across 47 of these United States and some in Malaysia and American Samoa, mainly in convenience stores and gas stations. This one beachside is super clean and, well, beachside. As I stepped up to the counter, I was greeted by Ryan. He is the counter specialist and cook as well. Ryan has a fetching personality and was exceedingly helpful as we placed our order. I ordered some Honey Biscuits, Fried Shrimp, Fried Fish and some Cajun Chicken Tenders. Ryan excused himself to the kitchen while we sat and snapped a few pictures of the place. As I said, it is clean enough to pass any white glove test. I thought it would be nice if the tables had a virginal to pass the time when Ryan indicated our order was up. If a place is advertising hand-breaded chicken, their biscuits better not be the Sysco plug-n-play variety and these weren't. They were obviously made to order and outstanding on the palate. Baked to a perfect golden brown, these were warm, flaky and drizzled in honey. I would rate the biscuits at 4.5 Stars and these are worth the trip all by themselves. They would also make a great after-school/work/errand snack. Next, I took a sampling of the Fried Shrimp. This was nothing to write home about but nothing to scoff at either. The shrimp were of a good size and deep fried to a pleasing color, just missing a little "oomph" to push them over a slightly above-average rating of 3 Stars. Moving on, I set my peepers on the Fried Fish. If the Fried Shrimp was slightly above average, the Fried Fish was slightly below. The Fish had an ever so light fishy taste and as we all know, it shouldn't. The Fried Fish, by itself, would have a meager 2-star rating. This brings me to the final item in my order, the Cajun Chicken Tenders. I went with the 6 PCs, which is a good thing I did as they weren't long for the table! How could you go wrong with hand-breaded breast tenders in a savory coating with tasty dipping sauces? The Tenders were deep fried to a model color and doneness that would make Gordon Ramsay say, "Now, that's an Effin' chicken tender!" If I were just rating the Tenders, this would be a 4.5 Star review all day, every day. As it is, I'm sticking with the 4 Star until they get fresher fish. The Big Boy says, "You know you want some, so just give in and go."“

“Picks did an outstanding job on dinner last night for Valentines. The steak was cooked perfectly and they accommodated a gluten and dairy allergy with advance notice nicely. The salmon was also great! Service was outstanding and this place is like a hidden gem steps away from MGM Springfield. We even returned for breakfast. They had a great fritta for breakfast. Nothing but the gravy was made with milk or butter.“

“After moving to the area, Nosh Café and Restaurant has quickly become one of my favorite places to enjoy brunch in Springfield. They offer a fantastic selection of vegetarian and vegan options which can sometimes be hard to find. Additionally, the atmosphere is both fun and relaxing with consistently friendly and welcoming staff. If you like to read or are looking for a new cookbook, Nosh has quite the selection of books available for purchase.
