“We stopped in for a late breakfast at Bobby’s Burger Palace, owned by Bobby Flay, at the Mohegan Sun Resort and Casino. It was very good. At first sight my burrito didn’t look like much laying dry on the plate, but when I opened it up I could see it was full of nice ingredients. It tasted great! And my hubs got the steel cut part and loved them. They had a little sweetness to them and just the right amount of cinnamon, cranberry and yogurt. I tasted it and really like it too. We would definitely go back here again. I also love Illy coffee so bonus! :)“

My husband had a cup of bisque and the B&B tacos with shrimp, and he said both were very good. If you’re in the area this summer, give Ford’s Black and Blue a try. Great food and great staff.“

“Was very disappointed when we took friends of ours there and told them how good the bread was but when we ordered from Jack was told the bread now costs and yet we were there two weeks ago and bread was offered. Also we had to ask Jack what the specials were and he acted put out. What a change from two weeks ago with waiter Greg who was awesome“

“Absolutely amazing food, i got the fish and chips but replaced fries with onion rings. I would reccomend this cafe to friends, family etc. The live band was amazing and the drinks were even better. I got a grapefruit martini that was a little too bitter. I didnt even complain about it, but the owner herself saw my face and immediately offered to replace the drink or add to it to my liking. The service was phenominal and the food was just as amazing. Whether you just want a drink or are hungry, its seriously one of the best places in the area.“

I walked into a warm welcome from the owner Margaret, who was also my server and she was such a sweet lady with a great personality. She was so friendly and great with all her customers and I sat there smiling the whole time. Buford's does not have a huge FB following with just over 1k followers but it is truly an Amazing Hidden 💎 Gem breakfast spot of Groton!❤️ I walked in the door ready to eat so I ordered and reviewed a couple popular menu items: 1. Western Omelet w/Home fries & wheat toast $13.00 💣 2. Buford's Big Breakfast w/pancakes $13.20 💣 The service and atmosphere of Buford's is very laid back, comfortable and when it comes to the food they don't disappoint! I started with the Western Omelet and I ate quite a bit of it because it was the bomb 💣 I knew that I couldn't finish all the food so I moved on to those fluffy delicious pancakes with two easy over eggs, Home fries, crispy bacon and sausage patty. It was all amazingly Dope and easily earned a bomb 💣 as well! I had an amazing experience at Buford's and I understand why the fans have shared great experiences dining there. “A culinary delight! I took my family to Oyster Club on a Saturday evening after some shopping in Mystic and had a wonderful experience. The oyster happy hour was fantastic. As a raw oyster enthusiast, I was elated at the quality and price. I had a dozen oysters myself and had to stop myself from getting more- they were SO GOOD! The blackfish I had for dinner was excellent. The ramp hummus was a real highlight. For dessert, we had the maple ice cream which was the most delicious ice cream I have ever had. It was a real treat to come here. You can tell that the food is made with heart and served with genuine warmth and enthusiasm. I’ll definitely be back soon.“

“I can not begin to describe the amazing experience we just had at this place. we went for brunch today. the three of us decided to try the bloody specials they had.. all truly unique. one was Italian with meat and cheese. there was a seafood one with ceviche and shrimp cocktail and the last was one with 2 large pork bellies on the side.. amazing!! we ordered 3 different entrees so we could all share. the smoked salmon frittata. wow! smokey..light.. creamy.. so perfect. next were chicken and mushroom crepes. holy crap! unbelievable!! the last was a steak sandwich where the beef just fell apart! outstanding! my friend had asked about a menu item that had been previously on the menu that she loved and they went out of their way to make it for us!! our dessert was a mimosa with purple corn and cinnamon.. unlike anything I have ever had before! “01.26.25- 'Big Al's Reel Reviews' - Little Galapagos Restaurant ❤️ City of New London ❤️ I dropped into The Little Galapagos Restaurant this evening to review a couple of their popular menu items which were Chicken Wings, Thai Chilli Sauce followed by Carne Asada Ecuadorians Style meal that was actually really Dope ❤️ however the Chicken wings were not great at all so they earned a Thumbs 👎🏾 The atmosphere and service was really dope there and I am sure that had I ordered anything else on the menu besides the Wings would have been just as good as the Carne Asada. She was very knowledgeable about the menu and very accommodating with our substitutions.
