“Very nice staff, coffee bar with tasty selection of pastries. Would be a nice spot to walk to and have a cappuccino while reading or journaling. (good playlist on the internet radio too.) (they also have hot cocoa for the non-coffee drinkers)“

Staff are hard working, and the owner Amanda is “Down to earth” …and also passionate about her business. Very personable to all of her customers. “Met some friends here for the first time this past Sunday and we had a great experience. The place was jamming! We almost couldn’t find a seat. During the warmer months they have seating outside too but It’s a bit early in the season, so we were told. The atmosphere was lively and busy.The staff were attentive and the drinks were delicious. We ordered the flight of course and then had a few more. My personal favorite was the Cookie Monster! Liquid crack for lack of a better term is the best way to describe it. If you don’t like sweet than you definitely want to stick to a traditional espresso martini. The presentation was great and our entire group was happy. We will be returning. “Last week was my first time at Loose Leaf in Wallingford and I had a few questions about the drinks, etc. i spoke with a worker named Lydia, she was so helpful answering all my questions, super friendly and in general just very nice and welcoming, she really made the experience. “This was hands down one of the best restaurants I have ever been to. My special guy's father is friend's with the owner & we brought family visiting from Italy for dinner. This was my first time trying the food, everything was delicious, portions huge. You can order larger, family style meals several days in advance & it's BYOB (love it). I was very surprised by everything as the outside along with the name of the restaurant doesn't remotely sound like an Italian restaurant. I would definitely take the ride just to eat here again.“
“They have sour cream donuts! My wife loves them. I'm a fan of their frosted donuts and their iced coffee. They use frozen coffee instead of regular water ice cubes. Super delicious and nicely cafinated. The folks who work there are always friendly.“
