“I drove 2 and a half hours down I-95 from Boston to check this place out. I was pretty apprehensive about the whole thing, but it ended up being worth it as the small pizza was almost as big as the large. The pizza plus the orange juice ended up costing $13 and the employee that greeted me when I walked in was so sweet I wanted to give her a hug, though I made her a little nervous doing this. The combination of the pizza and the orange juice was perfect for the pill I had to take as well! My waiter Chris came and took my order with a clipboard and even let me eat and told me to have a bite while he got my review. He even had a full camera crew filming me while I did it, meaning I was going to end up being on TV! I might have gotten a little too horny with my review though, as I might of came off as a dishonest dirty person to him lol. He was so nice though I even offered him a slice of my pizza, but he politely declined. After I ate, I got a police escort to get the full story as there were about 14 cops that saw my review and wanted to know if I was serious about it. I told them this pizza was so great, that if I ever got married, it would be at this place where I would also sign the contract. I didn't get to go back to this place for about 30 months afterwards (no reason behind it) but I never forgot how great the food and experience was! My friend Sonny Derek Porter will tell you how great it is too! Totally recommend it to y'all! This pizza is worth going to prison for!“

“I left an emotional review the other day when my online pizza order was incorrect- user error apparently, I don’t know how to remove it, so I wanted to give an update. The OWNER of the business took time out of his day to come to my house to explain and apologize for the mistake. I guess I clicked on the cheese on 1/2, when I thought it was extra cheese (as it was a large cheese pizza). Honest mistake for the pizza maker who also answered the phone and was a bit overwhelmed but a very sure housewife, asking why the pizza was naked, w an angry 6yr old asking me “how could this happen??? I looooove Bronx house…” Drama. So, I take it back- and am so happy we can keep ordering from this establishment. My kid loves the pizza, and it’s super quick and conveniently located by the hockey rink… lesson learned, just call. Us dinosaurs are no good at online ordering.“

“Sal's Family Pizza is one of the best (if not the best) pizza locations in Connecticut. Authentic Italian slices with a crisp crust and tangy marinara. I have had the pleasure of ordering several dishes including soups, salads and pies and I have never had a bad meal. The ingredients are always fresh and tastey. Service is always friendly and helpful. Do not skip this place the next time you are in town!“

“First off, it’s a family run business. Secondly, the front door has every sticker you can think of, very creative way to show who goes to this restaurant, from across the nation. The food here, is superb! I always order via Uber eats pickup, and I always get the grandma pizza. Great selection of toppings! I will say it is a bit expensive, but you get the best pizza in new Canaan! The employees there are super polite and very kind, and the wait time is not as long, and you could walk around town to wait for your food! I have come here multiple times always getting the grandma’s pizza and also switching it up by adding some wings. Great food, and great experience here. Highly recommend it, family friendly, great location, and great service.

Parking: There’s a small amount of spaces on the side of the restaurant, and street parking. I usually park at the parking lot next to the restaurant.

“The CBR pizza is out of this world. The first time I went in there my boyfriend & I bought a few different slices to try & they were all good but the CBR was def our fave. The slices are a generous size & price too. I like really thin & thick crust pizza. Classica is a happy medium between the two - prob more on the thin side & has the perfect amount of crunch (it doesn’t crack & fall apart when you take a bite like some thin crust pizzas do). “We had multiple events at the Watershed hotel and Siena Norwalk (part of hotel) during the weekend of June 13 - June 15 2025, all associated with my daughter’s wedding. Brandon specifically, but also his entire team, were absolutely amazing with incredible customer service. On Friday, we had a large group of 75+/- at the rooftop patio/bar. Even with the rain threatening, Brandon was patient and waited until last minute before we were able to make a decision to have it outside. It all worked out great thanks to him and team. On Saturday, the team hosted 100+ people at Siena and the bartenders kept all happy with quick service and the served pizzas kept all nice and full. Finally, Brandon and team assisted with a great breakfast set-up. Anything that popped up over the weekend was handled professionally and easily by the team. Highly recommend Siena and the Watershed for any events with many people. Great attention to detail and communication was perfect.“
