“Our family has been a patron of Gogi Korean Steakhouse (formerly Wafu) since inception in 2019. We have dined there at least 25 times in the period 2019-2023. (Wafu/Westport opened in 2019 and was owned by the 4 founders of "Tuck Gin" + Simon & Elaine Chen of Westport. The quality of food went down during Covid. In 2022, Wafu/Westport closed temporarily. The restaurant was re-opened later in 2022, this time with Simon & Elaine Chen as owners and managers. Oh, what a difference the change in ownership brought about!) GOGI LOREAN STEAKHOUSE IS SIMPLY WONDERFUL! Simon & Elaine refined the menu, keeping what were originally the best selections and making them even better. Our family favorites (which we order almost every visit, while trying other dishes for comparison) include: * Seafood Pancake (crispy to perfection and stuffed with a variety of seafoods) * Bulgogi (entree sauteed to tender perfection at the table - ask for marinated) * Pork Belly (a close second favorite entree, prepared same as the Bulgogi) Simon personally visits and/or serves each table, making sure everything meets the customers' expectations. “Absolutely love this place! Staff is genuinely some of the nicest people and their tonkotsu ramen is my favorite because of the sweet corn broth. Come up to Fairfield just for it! Pork baos are a good runner up too! Honestly have nothing to complain about. Awesome food and awesome service :)“

“Miyuki’s is delicious, consistently— we’ve been coming here for years! I can’t comment on how “authentic” the poke bowls or ramen are, but they are unquestionably delicious. Yes, relatively expensive, but not out of the realm of what’s expected in New Canaan. Only open until 3, so don’t plan to go for dinner! Also, Miyuki offers a fried chicken sandwich which is smaller (more of a “snack”) which has a unique flavor profile compared to just about anything out there— if you are a fan of chicken sandwiches, give it a try!“

“We had the seafood pho, karaage, and so ddeok (Korean sausage and rice cake on a skewer), and everything was amazing!
🍜 We’re big pho lovers and have tried it at many places in different states, but this pho really impressed us—even though it’s at a mall, the flavor and quality beat some full-service restaurants we’ve been to.
🍗The karaage with their special sauce was delicious, and the so ddeok 🍡 with the sweet and spicy sauce is a must-try!
On top of that, the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Fast service, great taste, and wonderful people. We’ll definitely be coming back to try more from their menu! 🫶“

“I’ve come here a few times for their slushies and milk teas. The customer service is always good and although a little pricey, I think the drinks are worth it. Always fresh and flavorful. The staff is awesome and always respectful. I enjoy coming here.“
