“My experience at the restaurant was absolutely phenomenal. I believe our servers name was Veronica, and she was wonderful and very attentive to us. We both customized our meals to some extent and everything came perfectly prepared and delicious. The server appeared at the table at just the right time and not too often so we had privacy, but always had excellent service. The view of course from this restaurant is just beautiful of the Connecticut river even in the winter. Martha's decorations are spectacular as always, and McKenzie Stevens pastries are absolutely beyond amazing. Thank you for a wonderful service and a wonderful experience!“

“We were in CT from SC for a wedding! We went in on Saturday to watch South Carolina Gamecocks football game. The manager and Kasha were awesome! The manager put the game on two of the big TVs in the bar area so that all of us from SC could watch. They were so attentive kind and supportive of the Gamecocks even though we lost. The manager don’t know his name sorry, and Kasha were amazingly kind! We went back Sunday morning for brunch. Food and service were spot on!!! I don’t know that I’ll ever make back to Connecticut, but I highly recommend going to red heat Tavern if you are in that area! Come to SC Red Heat Tavern!!! “I made a reservation here on a Saturday for a date night with my wife and we had a great time. The atmosphere was cool. The service and food were all very good. (We had Cuban Sliders, Calamari and loaded plantain nachos). It was nice to have a unique restaurant experience for a change. “I have been going to Franks on and off for 15 years. (My father used to lived above the bad in the 1970s but that is a story for another time). This place is quiet and quick service. The staff is also appealing to the eye. I highly recommend.“

“This was our first time eating at Mancora and it was delicious. Our server, Julio, was great. When I asked for a sauce on my dish, he actually pointed out that they had a dish comprised of exactly what I wanted.

I had the pescado a lo macho and my husband had the pulpo. Both were fantastic - the fish was fried perfectly, the seafood in the sauce was cooked to perfection, and the octopus was so tender. We were too stuffed for dessert, but I’ll be back for an alfajor next time!“
