“I’m a frequent guest at the Chopt in Bishop’s Corner, and it has become one of those places that is genuinely worth the drive from Southington. I brought my mom there recently for her first visit, and she was more than satisfied too.

The restaurant is consistently clean, including the restrooms, and I have never had trouble finding a place to sit. The staff is always friendly and courteous, and they keep the line moving without making the whole thing feel rushed. Online orders have also been ready promptly in my experience. If you are new to Chopt or not quite sure how the ordering process works, the staff is happy to walk you through it or explain the different options without making you feel like you should already know what you’re doing.

The salads are huge, the food is consistently good, and it is a healthier option than most places in the fast-casual category. This is coming from someone who never really understood the point of salad, let alone salad as an actual meal. Chopt changed that for me.

The drink selection is another plus. Instead of the usual wall of sodas, they offer iced teas, lemonades, and other drinks that tend to be on the lighter side, often with some less-common flavors. My personal favorite is the Strawberry Squeeze Chiller.

My mom enjoyed her first visit. Chopt has become a regular stop for me because the food is dependable, the portions are substantial, the place is clean, and the service is consistently pleasant and efficient.“

The males, are on the rude side....one time throwing steak knives across the table when we requested them to cut our steaks. Every time we dine here, I am so annoyed with the lighting. Fluorescent lighting in a fine dining establishment is the worst. Please...please ...please put in recessed lighting that can be dimmed to make for a romantic dining experience.“

“I feel it’s important to share Three Figs is under new management and has made quite a turnaround. I waited until I experienced several successful visits before writing this review so I could be certain in my recommendation. I’ve now dined in a small group, a larger group, in the dining room, in the bar and as part of a civic group banquet in the back room. Each time, I have been pleased and satisfied. The food has been delicious (both regular menu and specials) and the service prompt & exceptional. I find the atmosphere warm & welcoming, reminding me of Cheers (the neighborhood place where everybody knows your name). Our dinner this past week was a positive experience in specific ways. We didn’t have a reservation and the parking lot was packed. Yet our wait was surprisingly short, and enjoyable at the bar with friendly service. Once in the dining room, our server was kind, helpful and happy…and very accommodating when a substitution was requested on an order at our table. The manager even helped serve our plates and made sure we were all enjoying our experience. Noting that the staff worked well together and were all happy…it implies that working there must be positive for them as well. The restaurant itself was also very clean and comfortable. In the past, I could not have shared these same words and had nearly given up on this local, convenient spot. So it pleases me very much to see the new management has turned it around. Having a great spot so close by is appreciated. Congrats Three Figs…your efforts are worth it!“

The portions were huge—definitely family-style! Honestly, one plate would have been enough for both of us, and we still had plenty of leftovers to enjoy at home. The restaurant itself has a beautiful setting with an industrial hipster vibe, warm lighting, and a fun flare that makes the atmosphere really inviting. “I’ve always enjoyed Olive Garden and their All You Can Eat soup and salad. My favorite used to be the chicken gnocchi soup. I took a star off my most recent experience because they have begun watering down the liquid base and they’re skimping on the chicken pieces. It was still tasty but seemed as though the restaurant was cutting a few corners to meet the budget.“

“My girlfriend and I came in for a brunch on a Saturday morning. We’ve been to olive garden plenty of times but not to this location. The atmosphere is really cozy and sweet, I like the bar seating area. Our server was Gabriel and he was very friendly and attentive which only made the experience better. “I just had an experience in Chick-Fil-A in Enfield CT where an unfortunate moment happened (nothing bad with chick fil a). I was sitting with 4 of my friends and one of the chick fil a workers was bringing one of my friends his milkshake. As she was leaving, he stood up and went to go throw something in the trash but responded to her, commenting on the fact that she forgot to say “my pleasure”. Clearly taken back by it visually, she still maintained complete composure and even gave us a free ice cream which we couldn’t possibly accept. I’m writing this strictly to commend the efforts of this woman, whom I didn’t catch the name of but could recognize by face, and her sheer strength to put her job over her feelings. We of course apologized profusely for our friend (he apologized as well) and I would like to send one last apology to that lovely woman who took care of us tonight. Thank you so much!“

“Stopped in recently and enjoyed the Street Fries: cottage fries covered with a delicious Greek sauce, feta cheese, chopped veges and shaved lamb. A little on the salty side(feta cheese) but very satisfying. Delicious butter pecan ice cream for dessert from Grass Roots. Service was friendly. The pizza is always great, with generous toppings, the meatballs are homemade and flavorful, the sauce is also taseful and the dishes are plentiful! The owner has been in the business for decades and truly cares deeply about thir customers experiences and is very friendly. This restaurant includes a family effort, they provide a clean and positive family experience and local business love their food as well. I know personally, because I provide gift cards on behalf of business relationships in the area & their always happy with their experiences. I recommend giving them another try - to those who had unfortunate past experience, they've got a better crew than they once had. Keep in mind it's been profoundly challenging these past few years on small businesses & good help dosen't come easy.“

“This dining spot is located in the Marriott Hotel on Day Hill Road. After work, my guest and I stopped in for apps and drinks. We enjoyed the Point Judith Calamari and the wings.
The inviting atmosphere and excellent service make this dining experience a plus for business travelers. The menu is a little pricey but not out of line for 4-star hotels.

“I went through the drive through and the worker was so kind and very helpful. The food was phenomenal and so was their sauce. I'm looking forward to my next meal. I got the 12 piece nuggets with fries and a sprite. Overall a wonderful meal and I highly recommend chickfila as its better than other fast food restaurants!“
