“From the jump, had a good feeling. The waitress wasted no time, we were served coffee and water fast. I got my usual, biscuit, sausage gravy, lightly scrambled eggs, corned beef hash, and wheat toast. Everything was cooked perfectly and high quality and perfect quantity - i was hungry. Deb got a bacon, fried egg, cheese, on hard roll, corn muffin grilled and buttered perfectly. She raved, very pleased. The owner spoke with us about his Yankees/ red Sox display, there's a story. “We have come here a few times for both dine in and take out! The food is always steaming hot when we get it, the atmosphere is great, and the service is spectacular! The food is outstanding. Their drinks are so delicious! Everything comes out in a timely manner and it is just overall delightful here. We always visit when we are in the area, you should too!“

“We had a wonderful experience at George’s today. At a party of 6 adults, and 2 toddlers, we were very happy to sit down soon after arriving. We had a knowledgeable waitress who accommodated our special dietary needs. The food was delicious and enjoyed by all of our group. We would highly recommend this super, hometown feel, very professional restaurant for everyone! (And I totally felt comfortable eating their gluten free options)“

“Best bar/club in Torrington. The owners and bartenders are super friendly. Hosting events that gather age groups 21/40 years old most nights of the week. Food all night-Has a strong future here for sure. Wishing them much success.“

“Met friends here for our weekly Sunday get together. We’re enjoying making our way through the menu. Today my friends had the October special salmon and risotto which they both enjoyed. I had the fish and chips-highly recommend. Light flaky fish coated in a light crispy crunchy batter and fresh crisp fries. Delicious. We were all full. My friends decided to try the pumpkin cake—-a delicious triple layer cake. Moist and full of flavor. They had a couple bites and took the rest home.“

“I came from New York to check out the new Pet Rainbow bridge which was beautiful !!! I came to Sawyers Restaurant & Bar and sat at the bar with my sister and friend. Our bartender was Katie! She was attentive, sweet and a phenomenal bartender. We need more bartenders like her! Always smiling!!! I 100% recommend! Thank you !“

“Last night we tried Sol Cafe for the first time. It is truly a hidden gem. The people are so nice, prices very reasonable and the restaurant is clean and comfortable. The food was out of this world! Our only regret was that we had not tried it sooner. Will be going back again soon!“
