I stopped in today on a busy Saturday, I was struggling a bit with my baby nephew. 2 staff immediately noticed and started playing with and talking to him while I got myself together. Another staff member saw how overwhelmed I was and brought over some ice water and kept checking in on us. Even though they were slammed, they took the time to focus on and help us and I appreciate it tremendously. Thank you!“

If you come here, you HAVE to try the Strawberry Coconut Vanilla 7 Energy with light sweet cream. it is hands down the BEST drink ever! It’s the perfect mix of fruity, sweet, and refreshing.

My wife enjoyed her bagle with lox and tomatoes as well as the Breakfast Burritto during our visits and the coffe was outstanding. “Love the environment here, and I like that they have a wide selection of food including breakfast sandwiches, pastries and lunch items. As a non-coffee drinker who loves tea, I appreciate that they have a decent hot tea selection that doesn’t include only Lipton tea bags. The first few times I came in, the tea was excellent, you could tell it was specialty loose-leaf tea. However the last time I came in, the tea tasted watered-down and had a strange aftertaste, almost like if you made it using hot water from a Keurig that still has a mildly old coffee taste. I don’t think that’s what they did, but it tasted like that and I was disappointed. I will probably keep going back for the atmosphere and service, and hope the tea improves next time.“

“The best coffee in New Haven! Located on the entry floor of The Graduate Hotel, Poindexter Coffee is a true barista coffee served with a smile.

The interior design is warm and inviting and makes you want to bunk in all day with your family and friends.

It has a limited food menu but what they offer pairs beautifully with your coffee. A must try is the cinnamon monkey bread - it’s incredible - make sure you get it heated up. A great one to share.
