About Atrium Café

The Atrium Café, located within the museum, offers a convenient dining option for visitors. The café features a variety of food options, including pizza, tacos, rice and beans, chunky potatoes, and desserts. It also has a wide selection of soda and alcoholic beverages, such as beer and wine, allowing guests to customize their drinks. The café provides a comfortable setting with a unique Megalodon statue, making it a good spot for a quick break. The food is generally good, with the $7 cappuccino being notably well-made—smooth, rich, and perfectly balanced. The chocolate croissant is fresh and delicious, ideal for a quality coffee break. While the prices are somewhat high, typical for a museum café, the variety and views of the Megalodon make it a suitable choice when visitors prefer not to leave the museum premises.

Absolutely absurd pricing. $20.55 per pound for fruit. My kid's handful of grapes was over $6. $5 for a bottle of water.

The food is low quality, made and tossed under a heating lamp until someone buys it.

For 3 people to have Mac n cheese (the only thing left as it was 4p), a drink each (non alcoholic), and a handful of grapes it was almost $70. Shameful price gouging. They know people with kids can't run around D.C. then come back to finish the museum exhibits.

I ate here in the cafe before and they do not prepare the food untill when it opens at 11am. The floors are not mopped they are sticky as if it was left since the day before. The workers who prepare the food do not wear gloves or they will wear one pair and the other is to switch hands. They need to do better

Outrageous pricing, extremely loud, sticky floors, the food was dry and old. Do not eat here.
