“This is a nice McDonald’s. Located in a busy intersection near the sites. Is directly across the street from the national Museum of women in the arts. It’s also not very far from the mint. Food is good as you would expect. The ground level is small, but the upstairs is very big and has great views from the windows.Parking: This is a very busy street. Don’t plan on parking. Just walk.Kid-friendliness: Kids love this restaurant and then downstairs is perfect for themWheelchair accessibility: The downstairs where you water has a few tables that are handicap accessible. The upstairs where the majority of the seats are is not accessible.“
“At the time of day that I was at Mickey D's there was kids everywhere and they were extremely loud, needless to say that I got up and left. Overall the store was clean. The floors were decent. Plenty of tables available and they also were clean.“
“I had the most incredible experience at McDonald's in DC – they serve the world's absolute largest French fries! The sheer size of these golden, crispy delights left me ecstatic. If you're a French fry enthusiast, this is the place to be!“
“I'm only putting five stars because I'm not being a douche but I want to make a comment. On the website it says that the lobby is open 24 hours as well as the drive-thru but it is only the drive thru that is open 24 hours... This needs to be clarified moving forward. I don't care if it should be common knowledge, they need to clarify this on the website“
“I love this McDonald's. I actually have a McDonald's that's closer than this one to my house but I always drive to the one on Pennsylvania avenue because of the food and cleanliness of this McDonald's.Kid-friendliness: Nice atmosphere. It was clean. And we found a table that can seat all three of us.. it was three other families eating there the time we went ..Parking: Parking is ok ... But it's not a big parking lot .. this was our first time dining in .. we usually go through the drive-thru. So we thank God it wasn't that busy because the parking lot is small.“
“The McDonald's employees here are very friendly. And the McCafe coffee is especially delicious. The apple pie is also good. I went here often when I was in DC. I stopped by Safeway after shopping and decided to come back for a McMorning the next day.“
“There was a gentleman I think his name was John, was going way above and beyond with serving and assisting the customers. He was very friendly and while he didn't help me personally, I just wanted to make his deeds know. The food came out faster than I expected and overall it was just a very pleasant experience. Will definitely start stopping there for coffee on my way to work from now on.“
“If you're really hungry, you can never go wrong with a juicy Quarter Pounder and McCrispy chicken sandwich from McDonalds. And this location, though it was a bit busy, is in a convenient location, and the food was really good. So for that, 5/5.“
“We visited after being exhausted from all the walking at zoo. Surprised that this location has no wheelchair or stroller access and is actually at the basement. Some students were creating a havoc during lunch time, but the manager was quick enough to react and handled the situation efficiently. Ordering is easy via the kiosks.Wheelchair accessibility: No wheelchair or stroller access.“
“I work in the area and come here everyday for lunch the staff that sees me is always nice I have NEVER had an incorrect order. The store is mostly clean people eat in here all the time, I haven’t used the bathroom so I can’t speak on that. People use one bad experience and try to define the whole store.“
“About three weeks ago I was up early and went over to McDonald's for a coffee and a free breakfast sandwich. The manager tells me that even though the application says, buy one get one free, doesn't apply to me. It's not funny, since I know the food here isn't to be eaten every day, I“
“I had a comfortable visit at this McDonald's. I was very happy and appreciative to get a breakfast sandwich bcuz it was after the breakfast time slot. However, I had to park on the street due to the long delivery truck in the parking lot. No problem though, I enjoyed my breakfast, and the quiet time I had by myself!Parking: The parking lot have limited parking spaces on both sides. Therefore, it is best to go through the drive thru, and keep it moving!“
“Whenever we go here the food is always hot and fresh. The service is very good and takes no time. We have never received the wrong food and our order is never missing ANYTHING even sauce, dressing, etc. The drive through is very fast, almost never a line.“
“This is my go to for McDonalds. Quick drive from my apartment. They know me by now. They do my special request when asked. I’m kind of addicted to the Diet Coke from McDonald's. I swear it’s so good on a hot day. The workers are super hard working and are always super friendly. Jose and the woman who works the window. Marissa or I feel bad I can’t remember her name. I try to speak Spanish. I love Spanish and never get to speak the language with anyone. So they humor me. “Mi amiga!” Thanks for being so nice. The food is warm and the drinks are ice cold. I know, I sound like I’m being paid to write this, but I’m not.Parking: Just a regular parking lot. I do drive thru. There are homeless people and drunks hanging around sometimes, but they are really nice. I try to help them out. Lighting is good and I haven’t felt intimidated or unsafe going in the dark (cross fingers).Wheelchair accessibility: The lot has handicapped parking and there is a way to get in if you’re in a wheelchair.Dietary restrictions: If you need something removed they try to accommodate.“
“The service here is always great. Most of the staff are friendly and serve the customers with pride. Food is always fresh and you can get through the drive through in a flash. The only downside is the large amount of drug induced people that congregate in front of the store. They beg for change and try to sell you stolen goods.Parking: The massive amount of people hanging in the parking lot occupy the parking spots.“
“It's not to bad of a place the service is pretty good and works also ,it can definitely be much better do to the fact that there's lots of homeless people outside but they really don't bother you iv been going there for the past 5 years because I work around there so over all its not a bad “
“During my walk through the streets of Washington, in the United States, I came across this McDonald's and decided to make a stop. The experience was positive, mainly due to the electronic self-service available at the totems. This option gave me more peace of mind, since, although I can communicate in English, I prefer to analyze the menu calmly to avoid possible errors in the order. As you can see in the photo, I chose a Sundae and a burger. An interesting observation is that I always find the prices at McDonald's in the United States to be relatively cheap, especially if we consider them in dollars, without taking into account the conversion to the Brazilian real. In general, eating at McDonald's in the United States seems to be an economical option, although not the healthiest.“
“The New York Avenue store is Right by my house. And always hits the spot. I even get the pleasure of buying neighbors that hang out there a meal too. Customer service is always a 10 and you can get through the line pretty fast. My go to Mickey D's. I do recommend.“
“While the service at the McDonald's in Adams Morgan generally maintains a satisfactory standard, there's a noticeable drawback regarding efficiency. The staff, although providing good service, grapple with the challenge of being understaffed. This results in a slower pace, and patrons might find themselves waiting longer than expected for their orders. Despite this hiccup, the overall experience isn't marred by unfriendly service; rather, it reflects operational challenges. The location seems to handle a limited number of customers effectively, but during peak times, delays are inevitable. If time isn't a pressing concern, the quality of service and the familiar menu might still make it a reasonable choice.“
“*THE HIDDEN GEM*When corporate needs an example of a WELL RAN SHIP…this is it. This place is SPOTLESS, despite the heavy guest count. EVERY SINGLE EMPLOYEE OWNS their scope of support, and coralate their work with others to ensure smooth, speedy, high quality producing shifts. I have not glanced at their numbers compared to others in the metro and I am will to PUT MONEY they are leading in almost every metric. The GM of this location OBVIOUSLY has the skills to aid McDonalds corporate to step up there normal standards and bring in MILLIONS MORE Which can ultimately bring in a whole new pay scale dynamic for crew member pay. This locations is SO WELL RAN, IT ALMOST COMES OFF AS A “prototype” of what COULD BE for McDonald franchise across the WORLD.These pple HANDLE BUSINESS..and their personal financial life’s should reflect it. ?“
“The food is good. This rating is based on fast food experience only. Not bistro or dinner, specifically fast food. 4 stars for food because, when they are swamped with a long line, the food still comes out as fast as you can expect, it’s been accurate every time and always cooked to a standard to promote satisfaction. Especially even when they’re busy.“
“READ THE REVIEW!This McDonald’s has been a staple for Gallery Place as long as I can remember. They use to have chairs and everyone would come and go outta this McDonald’s but as time progressed I see they took away the chairs and handicap tables for a reason (why I don’t know) I’m not sad to see them go. It’s good to move on to something better. But they will be missed. Going down gallery place in the summers (pre COVID) use to be so much fun because the McDonald’s or Crepes On The Boardwalk was the meeting spot. They gave it a good run. And it out lasted so many other places that came and went (Ruby Tuesday’s, Fuddruckers, It’s Sugar) just to name a few. But I hope something nice comes into that space. Farewell McDonald’s Down Gallery Place ??????“
“Just recently my family and I came to this McDonald's the Saturday of St Patrick's Day and we were short some money. The active police officer on duty gave US like$9-$10; an Ethiopian man (customer) gave US $5 AND The cashier allowed me to use her discounts on the app so I could get a full meal for my 3 sons and myself.Meanwhile Addicts of all ages and college students ran in and outside this location. Many ppl see McDonald's and assume the Worse Customer Service; But at the places You least expect it- I have received service Beyond my Recognition! Instantaneously All in attendance Became a village for me and My babies. And I will NEVER FORGET the generosity and Kindness me and My family received there.“
“I came in to place an order for coffee. I did that on my phone. While waiting, the employees thought there may be a gas leak but discovered a bottle of lighter fluid left by a customer. I was more than happy to remove the bottle, keep it. A staff member asked the manager to give me a FREE Big Mac. Also, I placed the coffee order to the wrong McDonald’s but they still hooked me up with a coffee!“
“During my stay in D.C., I went here fairly often as it’s super close to my hotel, and as I’ll probably be staying at the same place next time, I’ll be going here again. I can’t say how different the service would be during peak season, as I was in D.C. during the off season, but this McDonald’s was always clean and tidy when I went. Service was fast, regardless of how busy it was, and the food was hot and fresh. No complaints here!“
