“I can’t recommend this place enough, great local spot! I came here and had the best Pupusas I’ve ever had—perfectly cooked, packed with flavor, and incredibly satisfying. They were so good, I’m still thinking about them!

The spicy margaritas were another highlight—balanced heat with a great kick, and the pitchers are such a good deal! Perfect for sharing with friends.

I also tried the burrito, and it was fantastic. Generous portions, fresh ingredients, and bursting with flavor.“

“Bad service. I waited over 30 minutes for the cashier to treat me poorly. I never received my food and ended up being treated poorly. It was Saturday, April 14, 2025, at 1:30 p.m. The cashier was a woman. I hope she changes her treatment of customers.“

“Okay, let me tell you about Gloria's Restaurant! I had the Chicken Quesadilla and Horchata, and seriously, it was amazing. Like, every bite was just right. I know it's a little pricier, but trust me, you won't regret it. The service was super fast, and everyone was so nice. If you want a delicious Hispanic meal in DC, go to Gloria's!

“Super traditional restaurant. Pupusas are out of control! My favorite is chicharron con queso (pork with cheese), but with frijoles (beans) is great too. Soap de res is definitely recommended. All in all, great lunch place with very reasonable prices - $13 per dish.“

“Great spot for affordable, authentic Latin food. I loved all the veggies and peppers on the tacos I ordered, and the frijoles refritos were SO flavorful. I got 5 tacos with rice and beans for myself and one other person, and we had a ton leftover. And it was only $22! I’d love to go back and try some of the sopas. I got my order for takeaway, but there’s a few tables inside as well. Will definitely be returning to this local, family spot :)“

“Super warm and welcoming place! All the staff was so sweet and nice. Food was amazing and delicious, and not super pricy. Definitely recommend for either a quick bite or a sit down meal. Get the passion fruit juice! They also speak both Spanish and English, so it's very easy to communicate. :)“

“Looking for food on the way back from walking the national mall fairly late at night we found this place. I could hear the record scratch as we walked in, but we were warmly welcomed and found a table promptly. The waitress was friendly and gave very good service. The food was top notch and authentic. It hit the spot after a long day. The neighborhood was a little sketchy late at night so keep that in mind.“

“Pretty good steak burrito stuffed full with meat, cheese on top, with rice and beans on the side and fresh avocado, tomato, lettuce, and sour cream for topping. beans were not refried style, which I appreciated. Generous portions & fast, friendly service. I'd like to try more.“

“The food was good and our server was nice and friendly the only thing that threw me off was they cook their meals with tomato sauce. Meals that I would have never that to be made with tomato sauce. It was good and different tasting but next time hold the tomatoes please.“
