“We dined at One Coastal over the weekend. We had four people in our party and everyone ordered a different item on the menu. Food was fantastic! I enjoyed a simple pasta dish that was the most delish meal I’ve had in years. I shared with everyone at the table and everyone loved it. My husband had the pork chop and reported that it was delicious. My daughter had the scallops and said they were perfect. Her boyfriend had the flank steak and it looked terrific. But my pasta was PERFECTION!“

Service: We had a wonderful waitress and the service was fast and responsive.

Ambiance: Nothing special, but I do enjoy looking at their bakery selection.

“It's always a challenge going out for a bite to eat in OC in the off season as you never know what you are going to get. After reading reviews and looking at menus, I decided to check out Liquid Assets and what a great decision that turned out to be. Walking in alone, I was quickly greeted by Kyle and Joe at the bar and directed to an open seat at the bar. After a brief run down of the drink offerings, I asked for a beer and they recommended a local brew that did not disappoint. Before I had a chance to look at the menu, Kyle brought over a specials menu which was both amazing and overwhelming, and this was just the special menu, as the regular menu pretty much covered every palette imaginable. Interested in the 2 fish options, I asked Kyle for his recommendation and without hesitation, he suggested the Pan Seared Monkfish with which I went and He was not wrong. It came out beautifully presented and was probably the best fish dish I've experienced. Alrhough the fish was cooked perfectly, the star of the dish was how it was presented and everything else it was served with. I went out with an open mind and I was wowed by the experience. Rare do you find stellar staff and 5 star meals but on April 7th, 2025, I did in a town full of less than stellar options. “My husband and I had the pleasure of dining here as we were a Veteran family invited to Bethany Beach with Operation SEAS the Day. Words can’t express our gratitude of the wonderful dinner that we had. The outdoor patio is beautiful and romantic. We both ordered the ribeyes and they were delicious, juicy, and tender. The crab dip was the best I have ever eaten. We loved the cream of crab and French onion soups. The servers were friendly and took very great care of us. This restaurant is must if you are in town, we will definitely come back when we return to Bethany Beach.“

“We initially went to Lazy Lizard for lunch but we sat for at least 20 minutes and no server came so we left and went to Buxy’s. It was an excellent experience. The waitress was fantastic (I didn’t catch her name but she had red hair). She was attentive and was so great with our two young kids. The food and drinks were excellent. “This place had some excellent burgers and the price was right. The wall murals surrounding the bar were top notch and interesting. Over 100 celebrities are painted on the walls. It made for an interesting and casual experience. This place sits atop the Brass Balls cafe and there is street access and boardwalk access. Parking is free as long as you are dining at either venue.“
