“This restaurant used to have dine-in seating, but no longer. The tables are all used for storage. So it's a little dumpy looking when you enter. It's now pretty much just take-out. So that's how I'm judging it. As far as the food goes, it's decent for a take-out place. It's not a gourmet restaurant, but that's OK. Sometimes you just want some basic noodles or fried rice, and this place does that well. Prices are reasonable and flavors are good. This is an authentic Chinese place, unlike some other places around here that pose as Chinese food.“

“Wow, great Tonalteca burrito! Service is friendly. We have been her two dozen times. Good happy hour and open for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

We will do takeout often but dinning in is always a pleasure - full bar.

GM, Juan, runs a great front and kitchen staff. Cannot say enough about how well run this restaurant is run - excellent food and service.

The bar is a good place to watch European, North, Central, and South American football (soccer).

By far the best Mexican we have had in the Wilmington - Newark area. We moved here from Southern California. I would compare it to the better Mexican restaurants in San Diego.“

“Newtown is a historic, colonial town, and is very quaint and charming. Within, the Mercury Cafe is a gym with delicious comfort food and great coffee. While it’s vegetarian, many of the dishes can be prepared vegan. The BBQ pulled oats sandwich, pastrami panini, grilled cheese and tomato soup were all so good and comforting. Definitely worth stopping by if you’re in the area!“

“I came to Metro Diner this morning off the humbug. I was starving & was craving some chicken & waffles from somewhere close in the area. Surprisingly the chicken was very seasoned and crispy. The waffles were also very tasty and soft. The strawberry butter mixed with their signature hot sauce was also pretty good. Alicia was my server. She was such a doll :) Her knowledge of the menu is impeccable and she took very good care of me. “This is our go-to place for Mexican takeout in Kennett Square. We regularly get the special meat burrito with lomo (seasoned shredded pork), burrito with asada, and chicken quesadilla. The huaraches and enchiladas are also really good. All meals come with a ton of food. They give you little hot sauce containers and limes to go with your meal. There’s a small eating area where you often find people dining, but we typically to takeout because we order during the week and the food travels well. They’re always really quick when we call; about 15 minutes and the food is ready.

The owner is almost always the one who answers the phone and greets you when you come in. You can tell that he cares about his restaurant and making his customers happy, and you can feel good that you’re supporting a small local business, not a big chain. (If you happen to be helped by someone other than the owner, like a moody teen, don’t let it put you off).

The prices are reasonable, especially considering how much food you get.

One note: PAY CASH or you’ll be charged a credit card fee that they don’t even tell you about. This is the one complaint I have about this place. I know that many businesses are now doing this, but there are no signs in the restaurant warning of this fee and if you tell them you’re paying by card, they type a higher amount into the credit card machine without telling you.

The small parking lot could definitely be repaved and the building looks a little iffy in its lighting and placement among car repair shops and an apartment construction site, but it all adds to the feeling that you’ve found a hidden gem.

Parking: Not too many spots, but I’ve never found it totally full. Pavement is bumpy with lots of holes.“

“Babes and I went here this past Friday for the Beef Wellington. They offer it as a special only on the fourth week of the month. Let’s just say it did not disappoint. Exactly what you would want it to be. Melt in your mouth, no real knife needed ?.
Also had the Brussels sprouts- fried hard. Yum. Crispy in every single layer with a nice kick of maple!
We sat out on the patio, our server was a joy. She had a great personality- wish I could remember her name to shout her out.
My only true complaint is the obnoxious table beside us that had no table manners. Belching left and right, cackling the whole time. Clearly they had too much fun and forgot about their surroundings. Patio was just not this kind of atmosphere. Had they been in the bar/at the bar it would have been more understandable.

Nonetheless, the Brussels sprouts and the Wellington is a must try! They also had one of babes favorite beer!“

They also tried to charge me $29.99 for this “lobster” roll (and I use that term loosely). You can’t in good conscience tell me that this coleslaw concoction is more than 5% lobster. It’s potato chips and coleslaw on a tiny hot dog bread.

Great service and atmosphere. I chatted with the locals and explained my trip to Wilmington. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. I recommend giving them a try.“

“We only get a chance to come here on the weekends there is normally a wait but it's never more than 20 min. The staff is always super friendly and nice, and very knowledgeable about the menu. It is a VAST menu so it might take a while to decide what you want but we have tried a bunch of things and nothing has been short of wonderful. Price is on par for what you get rolls are a good size at an average price with quality ingredients. Highly recommend the soup dumplings! We always try to get something new but keep getting those dumplings!

Parking: It's near the food court in the mall so parking can be challenging but it is free

Kid-friendliness: We have taken out 2 year old every time we have been here we just get her a side of rice and some popcorn chicken, staff is very accommodating to kids and they have kids cup and high chairs

Wheelchair accessibility: 1st floor location and is technically on the outside of the mall so easy access from the street“

“This place was soo great! We stopped in at 7:20 with 2 adults and 4 hungry kids...even though they cloae at 8, no one was angry or looking upset. We try not to go to places so close to closing, but we promised pizza and hot wings - and Liliana's definitely delivered!! We got a large meat lover's, 10 mild wings, and 10 spicy wings. “We used to have a Bahama Breeze in Towson, Maryland (near my home) which, sadly, closed several years ago. We have visited the BB in KOP, which was great. When an opportunity presented to check out the one near Christiana Mall, we jumped at the chance. We were not disappointed! The food was as good as we remembered.
