“My wife and I lost our Chinese takeout restaurant which recently closed so we were forced to find a new place. We recently ordered our food from New Dragon. I waited until I ordered food at least five or six times before leaving this review. I can say that New Dragon has very good food, it's consistent in appearance and taste, and each time we got it, the portions were very generous. We order the pepper steak, chicken & broccoli, spare ribs, Wonton soup, steamed dumplings, roast pork fried rice, and roast pork lo mein , and all the dishes were very good. Their spare ribs are excellent quality with more meat and little fat and they're covered in a delicious sauce. The people who serve you are very nice and you can see into the kitchen where the food is prepared and we found the kitchen to pretty neat and clean. I can recommend New Dragon.“

“Wow, great Tonalteca burrito! Service is friendly. We have been her two dozen times. Good happy hour and open for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

We will do takeout often but dinning in is always a pleasure - full bar.

GM, Juan, runs a great front and kitchen staff. Cannot say enough about how well run this restaurant is run - excellent food and service.

The bar is a good place to watch European, North, Central, and South American football (soccer).

By far the best Mexican we have had in the Wilmington - Newark area. We moved here from Southern California. I would compare it to the better Mexican restaurants in San Diego.“

“I came in alone recently and asked for a Cran-Slam club. The manager spent her extra time at the end of her shift to assist the team with making a sandwich that, frankly, shouldn't be off the menu anymore. But she went above and beyond with the rest of the team there to make it happen. I was happy to see someone remembered a classic, and a better creation and alt from the Bobbie sub.

“I came to Metro Diner this morning off the humbug. I was starving & was craving some chicken & waffles from somewhere close in the area. Surprisingly the chicken was very seasoned and crispy. The waffles were also very tasty and soft. The strawberry butter mixed with their signature hot sauce was also pretty good. Alicia was my server. She was such a doll :) Her knowledge of the menu is impeccable and she took very good care of me. While the menu may appear to be limited, they all the homestyle favorites. There are vegetarian options. My favorite appetizer is on the menu, Fried Burssel Sprouts.

The portions are family style. Don't expect to finish what you order.

1 piece of kofta shouldn’t cost nearly $8.. The lamb chops were a bit bland as well but cost almost $30 for a platter.

Our first time at Kid Shelleen's. It was much bigger than it appears at first. We had our two granddaughters with us, one is very vocal and not great at getting food into her mouth. We were conveniently tucked into the back corner where we didn't bother any other patrons, thanks to the wonderful staff. So thankful for their kindness and attention.“
