You can immediately tell that this is a neighborhood bar, where the locals are all familiar with one another. There is ample space for pool, and the 360 degree wrap-around bar is a great touch. We only came in for beer, and I can report back that the draft beer is quite cold!“

Kat the bartender is awesome & makes the place comfortable-- she spoke to everyone that came in and if she was in the middle of a conversation and didn't greet someone it was because she already knew their drink and was getting it for them without a word exchanged!“

One particular Saturday she asked me to go with them so they could see if this would be a great place to hold their after party for the wedding. “I was invited by a friend on a Tuesday evening, and there was a birthday party going on, so there wasn't any food being sold, don't really know if they still did? The birthday patry people provided the food and allowed everyone to have some, which was so nice. There was a DJ named DJ Cuzzin Pete who was jammin! It's hard to get guys to dance with you in Delaware. I don't know why? Pretty small place. There is a pool table and a nice sized dance floor. The mixed drinks were good.“

When I brought it up to the bartender, she said I misread the situation and it was none of my business! So, I went to the manager and she repeated pretty much the same statement like it was scripted because it continuously happens! I wonder if the owners are aware of these actions because honestly the bartender and manager should be fired for those kind of attitudes as it's illegal to serve visibly impaired patrons at a bar! Sad! 🤔😔 I actually have to add, it's a shame that the staff isn't the best, because the concept is great, the events are fun and our group which usually numbers 10 to 15 people enjoy hanging out there for the events and the food which is reasonable and pretty good! 💝😎👍“

“McLaren’s Irish Pub is one of those perfect little dive bars you’re always happy to find. Laid-back, unpretentious, and full of character. Love that they serve free snacks at the bar, such a great touch and exactly what a neighborhood pub should feel like.

What really made the night memorable was the sense of community. A customer had brought in crock-pot pork with rolls and cheese and was serving sandwiches to everyone. You don’t get that kind of atmosphere just anywhere.

“Pretty good breakfast! The regular cost is 12.00 per person but since I'm a platinum Marriott member there was no fee.An assortment of juices and fruit, oatmeal, bacon, sausage, eggs, breakfast potatoes, and pancakes were on the buffet!“

“We attended a special event at Docklands and loved the entire experience. Inside is spacious, classy and well decorated. The outside area has a bar, tons of seating and a nice view on the river. At night, with all the string lights on, it's picturesque. All of our food (Crab tots, Cajun pasta, Shrimp tacos, Skillet Nachos and Wings) was excellent! We had Erin taking care of us at the bar... she was cool and made our visit even more fun.

“The food and atmosphere is amazing. Good music, and good food but the service is not it. It took about 10-15 minutes to even get our menus and she did not check on us once. Mind you, there were only 2 other tables. We had to find her to get the check while she was talking at the bar with her co workers. The chef is not at fault, the food was good. An“
