“They welcomed us in as we walked into the restaurant, which was really nice. We were seated right away and their service was fast and friendly. Our food was delicious. I had the Spicy Volcano Roll which isn’t really spicy but has great flavor. We will definitely be visiting again soon.“

“We went in for lunch and were immediately seated, drink order taken, and within seconds the server returned with soup as well. While we ordered they brought out a free hot crab appetizer that was delicious. Keep in mind, this all happened in the first 3 minutes of LUNCH.We ordered the chicken teriyaki and the 3 roll lunch special ($14.95) each came with soup and salad. I would add the ginger dressing is terrible, the very orange kind.The meal took less than ten minutes to prepare. The chicken teriyaki was a solid lunch portion with a good ratio of chicken to veggies. The fried rice was brown, not yellow, always a good sign.The sushi was super fresh and as you can see the plating was even well thought out.Top notch experience, couldn't believe it was lunch service. “I picked up take out late this afternoon. The food was very good, I had the hibachi chicken dinner, it came with clear soup and salad (the dressing was yummy)!! The chicken was served on top of hibachi veggies, both were seasoned and tender, delicious. The dinner also came with rice and noodles. I would recommend and plan on returning.“

They also added white sauce (and labeled them so I knew what was what) which I never tried before and it was good! I'll be leaving a tip next time I get food to-go from there because of this experience. Wish you could add a tip after you order (since you don't know if it's right or good until after you pick up the food), but it wouldn't let me. They should implement that for their to-go orders so people are more likely to tip. Amazing presentation also, you can tell these chefs know what they are doing! They did forget my crunchy for my clear soup though, but that's okay it was still good.“

We ordered the sampler, pad Thai, beef satay, seaweed, fried rice, chicken satay with Whispering Angel Rosè - everything was delicious and all plates were empty. “We ordered pork Katsu curry, filet mignon hibachi, and pork to Katsu ramen for takeout. Would highly recommend the Katsu curry and hibachi. The ramen was okay.Another review mentioned that the curry took them back to Coco Curry House in Japan and I agree it was reminiscent of the curry there!“

“I had a nice experience at Kingdom Sushi. The food was good and had very unique fusion of Japanese - Brazilian. If you love sushi's then you will probably like this place. For appetizer we enjoyed the shimeji, gungga by kingdom, ceviche and the salmon carpaccio. The yakisoba and miso soup did not stand out. They were just okay. For the sushi's, my favorites were the chef maninho roll, djoy, California rolls. Most of the sushi were actually good. We also tried their temaki, sashimis and nigiris. Everything was good. For dessert we had ice cream sandwich and banana nutella roll. For the drinks we ordered Sake Lychee and Ichigo. Both were very refreshing. The ambiance was nice, there was a live acoustic music which is a plus for me. The servers were nice and friendly however the service was a bit slow. Also another reason why I gave this a four star was because the price of their All You Can Eat, its over priced compare to most other AYCE sushi places in town.“

“We just recently did the Omakase experience at Norikase. It is one of the best dining experience I've ever had in Northeast Florida. The atmosphere was amazing and the decor was breathtaking. The service from the hostess to the waitress was phenomenal. Chef Akira was well engaged and explained all the courses thoroughly. He said he is always learning, but I think he is well on his way to be a master of his craft. His staff and sous chef were great and they worked in harmony with each other. You can tell right away the food is top notch. Everything was amazing and high quality. The cocktails were delicious and well executed. This is truly a taste of Japan and it's by far the epitome of high end sushi and sashimi dining in Jacksonville. Be prepared to bring your wallet, but it was well worth it.“

“I love this place! I come every time i'm within 30 min as I travel for work. This is my favorite place in any town and worth the travel. Stefani is the kindest, hardest working person and she is the heart and backbone of Fujiyama. The food is phenomenal, their shrimp sauce is the best and their clear soup made me believe in clear soup again. I've always been a salad person and they've converted me. Their portions are hefty and count towards arm day. You'll want to go back the same week after trying her food“

“Even though this location is almost a half hour away, the food was amazing enough that I would definitely come back to try more. The decor and lighting were beautiful. I ordered a Mai Thai once everything was settled. I wish it would have had grenadine and less ice, but it was still good nonetheless. Afterwards, we had the Salmon Mango Tartare. Which was amazing. The flavors paired together very well. I'm not much of a fruit and seafood girl, but this tasted great. After that, they brought out hot appetizers for everyone to try. Gyoza, shumai, crab Rangoon, spring rolls, and edamame. I tried everything except the crab Rangoon since I don't like cream cheese. It was very good and not greasy at all. They brought us nigiri next, followed by sashimi. I had the yellowtail and tuna, as those are my two favorites anyway. We had the Birds Nest roll followed by the Volcano Roll. Both were delicious. And they set the volcano roll on fire at the table. It was beautiful. They brought out hibachi, with steak, chicken, and shrimp. They had broccoli, zucchini, and carrots as the vegetables. And finally, they brought out the mochi. I tried the mango and strawberry since green tea has always been too bland for me. All in all it was an amazing time with really great people. “What yummy sushi! I went with three regular rolls and one special one. The special roll was the dynamite. I must say I was not a fan of this one, however it is just personally preference. The spicy krab roll & crunch roll were both delicious and fresh. I ordered carryout and had to wait a few minutes past my estimated time because they were poppin' in carryout, which is never a bad sign. I am not 100% sure what the krab items are in the top right of my photo, I believe those were thrown in there for free for the wait. I would like to come back and dine in here. I’m guessing it’s a family run joint as our waitress was in her school uniform. She did amazing, her recommendations were spot on, and the entire table ate like royalty. The packaging of my to-go order was greatly appreciated and thoughtful- soup in one bowl, chashu in another where it wouldn't really sweat as much and the noodles and encutrements were in a separate bowl.2. “I have been coming here for a while. Recently, I have been enjoying Phillips sushi a lot more! Everytime I come here, the food is always very consistent. The Spicy Crunchy Krab roll is to die for, and I always find myself ordering at least one. They also have platters with different variety of rolls, so you can try out many different rolls. The platters are also good for a family, and affordable to feed everyone. I highly recommend this place if you’re a sushi lover.“

Everything was amazing; I have a really severe gluten intolerance and having knowledgeable staff takes away a lot of the fear. You won't find this roll on the menu but if you ask for it the chef will have no problem preparing it. I'm also a fan of the pork dumplings. There nothing over the top, just simple well prepared dumplings, just like I like. I must say the last few visits I've made here I've been given what seems to be a stretched, watery version of shrimp sauce but it didn't take away from the flavor of the monster roll so I'm not going to ding them for that. If you decide to check the place out just know it's in one of the most busy parking lots in Riverside so prepare to maneuver and fight for a space. The restaurant itself isn't that big but it's a pretty quiet relaxed atmosphere. I like to sit in the outside patio and watch the people go by. The floors were very clean and the general cleanliness is well maintained. I ordered three separate items; Tofu Steak, vegetable Tempura and sushi I shared with my dream girl. The tofu steak had a wonderful crispy roof that was covered with fresh sautéed broccoli and teriyaki sauce. The Vegetable tempura was a real delight. The oil did not have an off scent to it…crisp and light. The sushi was amazing. Great rolls that weren’t too tight. They have Ikura which some sushi places have stopped serving due to cost. “I absolutely love this place, I first discovered it in late 2022 when I moved to Jacksonville to go to UNF, and I have been going a few times a month since then. I have never had a bad experience there regarding food quality or service, it has always been amazing quality food. I highly recommend this place for sushi and Japanese food. All the food is made to order which is surprising for this kind of restaurant, I am used to them being premade, so it’s a nice touch that it’s made when you order it specifically for you. I wish I could give this place more than five stars.“
