“This place is very hard to find but if you do, you’ll be happy you did. They have great chopped chicken, salads and sandwiches. You won’t be disappointed. Also find them on all the delivery services and just get it delivered. Chicken was moist and flavorful.“

“The service there is very good even though there’s room for improvement. The food was delicious, probably the best I’ve had at any pollo store. Although I didn’t dine in, The store was clean, I could have eat there if I wanted to. The manager ensured that I got the sauce I requested while I didn’t even noticed that they were missing. “Without question the best crispy chicken sandwich I have had in South Florida (Lulu's & The Wine bar kitchen coming in 2nd & 3rd respectively). The sandwich is masterfully crafted, with razor thin pickles, great cole slaw & an addictive spicy mayo combo that pulls everything together. The piece of chicken itself is a hearty portion, so no skimping here as it should be for the premium price of around $20 w tax. I'm personally am not a fan of their well done house made potato chips & my only sandwhich criticism would be to source a better bun. It's not that it's bad, but when your contents are 5 star, your carrier should b too.Their mashed potatoes & gravy are absolutely killer. Don't leave without trying their cilantro sauce too, its perfect. No matter what you order here, it will be an elevated experience, including their chicken pot pie(frozen to go).As you can see from the pics being far from appetizing, the sandwich didn't travel well in my car and is probably placed upside down so that the toothpicks holding the sandwich together, doesn't poke through Styrofoam container. I should have taken pics from my sit down visit last week. Nice indoor (& outdoor) space to sit and they serve beer & wine too. “Hook's is a hole in the wall restaurant off Hillsboro. The building is a bit run down, but the food makes up for that. We tried the fried shrimp, the chicken nuggets, and the chicken tenders. The fried shrimp was absolutely excellent. The chicken nuggets are essentially big chunks of chicken breast, similar to the tenders. They were served fresh and very hot, so hot in fact that we felt the chicken tasted better after cooling down for 15 minutes or so. Hook's does have a drive through and it was consistently busy for our entire time there. The service inside was a bit slow due to the drive through.“

The decor is nada and needs a bit of cleaning on waiting area . Food is cooked fresh everyday except Sundays . Line cutter on day we went , so speak up . We said nada .“
