“I sat at the counter because the place was busy and I didn't feel like trying to snag a table alone. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I had the smoked pork chop, green beans, Mac and cheese with a side salad. The salad was huge for a side. Everything was delicious. Highly recommend stopping if you're in the neighborhood. FYI it's seat yourself and they close early (like 2:30pm.) I had a great meal and experience. Cheers!“

“We’re headed back to Birmingham & my husband located this spot on google. We were greeted by our server Ultra. She was knowledgeable of the menu, had awesome recommendations for us first timers, & simply made our visit an awesome experience. The menu was simple, food was AWESOME, well seasoned, good proportions, FRESH, & delivered to car fast even with heavy traffic there. My friend loves the whole catfish and I enjoy the chicken fried steak or grilled/country fried pork chops with mashed potatoes and white gravy. Great coleslaw, greens, and red beans and rice! Tempted to try their liver and onions. The staff is always friendly and provide excellent service. I live in Graceville, Florida and visit Panama City monthly. “When visiting Flap Jacks i was greeted with a warm welcome. It was a classic quick stop diner vibe like a Waffle House. My waitress was very sweet and friendly. They had a lot of options on the menu something for everyone. We got biscuits and gravy, goulash, and some blueberry pancakes i kept hearing amazing things about. Everything came out quickly and was pretty good. They blueberries in that pancakes tasted super fresh and loved the addition of mushrooms in the goulash!“
