“It was our first time going, and we weren’t sure what to expect, but as we were pulling in the parking lot, a man rolled down his window and told us the food was awesome and to try the pork chops. We tried the simple starter. Bread, oil, and herbs. Simple but flavorful! Highly recommend I had the side summer salad and Krioyo pasta. The salad, no joke, was amazing. Full of color and flavor, might be the best salad I’ve ever eaten. The pasta was a generous serving, creamy and spicy with sausage and shrimp, full of flavor! My husband had the pork chops, cheese grits, and fries (I wish he got the collards instead of the fries, but it *was* his meal, so…). The cheese grits were a delicious surprise to me. So, so, so good. If we go back, I’m definitely ordering them (and the collards). The pork chops were, true to our parking lot critic’s word, awesome. I will definitely return. The atmosphere was laid back and wonderful, the food delicious, and the team members were fantastic. 10 out of 10 recommend! “My wife, mother-in-law, and I enjoyed a fantastic Mother’s Day brunch at Edward’s in Rosemary Beach. They’re typically only open for dinner, but we were fortunate to experience one of their special daytime brunches—and it was a standout from start to finish! Jimmy, the GM, welcomed us and had us seated quickly on their covered patio, which was perfect even with the steady rain. The chef created a beautiful brunch menu for the occasion, and our server, Kiyonta, was friendly, attentive, and full of great recommendations. We started with Deviled Eggs, the Seasonal Fruit Plate, and the Caesar Salad—each dish fresh, flavorful, and elegantly presented. For our entrées, we chose the Shrimp and Grits (incredible!), the Lox and Avocado, and Edward’s Omelet. Every bite was delicious, and the plating was as impressive as the flavors. We ended our meal with a trio of desserts: the housemade ice cream sandwich, crème brûlée, and key lime pie. Each one was delightful, but the ice cream sandwich may have stolen the show. “This place always has a long line and it backs it up. We sat at the bar (2 of us) and skipped the line. We were greeted with friendly service and great food. The menu has a very good selection and everything we tried we were satisfied with. I for sure recommend going here and if you do not have a large group i would try and snag a seat at the bar area.“

“I live just down the street from this waffle house. I have been in just a few times, but after my visit this morning, I feel compelled to leave a review.

The ladies up front absolutely make this place. They are always cheerful and greet you with a smile. Nobody wants to be up before 6am and I have yet to experience the ladies behind the counter ever being anything but a ray of sunshine.

Between them and the cook, you get your food fast, it is hot and they continue to check on you. This restaurant should be the model Waffle House for the high level of service that Waffle House strives for. They should feel lucky to have these ladies behind the counter.

“It’s rare to find a team that works this effectively together while maintaining an air of fun. This is the best Waffle House I’ve been to. We both got the egg breakfast with grits and toast. Everything was cooked perfectly. Our waitress was super attentive with refilling our coffee and checking in with us. We sat at the counter and got to watch the team work their magic. They fed our large group and everyone loved it. The Longleaf Writers Conference is a big fan of Bud & Alley's - a supporter of our local educational outreach program for ten years! When I got there I went through the drive-through and purchased three of the pumpkin muffins, which are my absolute favorite.
