“Seriously and hands down my personal favorite empanada's in Fort Lauderdale!! The crust is perfectly flaky but yet chewy, they dont skimp on the filling and oh my the seasoning in the filling is DELICIOUS. Not to mention their home made Chimichuri sauce to pair with the empanadas too.

It is a little difficult to find, its tucked in the building but when you find it trust me you'll be going back. Parking is complementary at the valet if youre going here!

“I ordered an omelet w/toast; which came with fresh fruit and house regular coffee (free refills). The omelet was delicious! The fruit bowl (strawberries, blueberries, and banana) was freshly cut and also tasty. The proprietor provided great service and sent me on my way with a large cup. The coffee was excellent. Overall, I am very glad I stopped in to eat there. I chose it because of all the good Google reviews.“

“We dined at Village Café on Tuesday, March 14th and we had Liz and Angie as our waitresses, and both were very responsive and made several suggestions on the menu and answered all of our questions. Miguel is the chef at the restaurant and every dish is an artistic adventure! They take reservations which can be made off of their web site, and the brunch can be busy so a reservation is recommended. Our daughter and three of her friends are here for Spring Break and they had breakfast at the café and suggested that we try the restaurant. Here is some background on the restaurant: We are a little cafe one block away from the beach, with a lovely atmosphere, and friendly staff. We like to make customers feel like they are at home. We serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Village Cafe is an American contemporary fusion restaurant, located just one block away Fort Lauderdale Beach, offering an unforgettable experience with a tasty breakfast, lunch and dinner menu, all this in a nice atmosphere and a friendly staff. They have an excellent wine list to make purchases by the bottle and wines by the glass with many choices. The homemade house rolls with two spreads, one cilantro and the other with a kick of spice. “Located inside the Eat Healthy Asian Bowl restaurant, they have a small menu of drinks which include milk teas, slushies, and fruit teas.

I had the tiramisu milk tea which comes with either a cheese foam or creme brûlée top, which was a nice addition. I had it with the 50% sweetness and still found it to be a little on the sweet side and would get the 25% next time. Their slushies also did look really good.

In terms of price, it is a little on the more expensive side with their milk tea drinks starting at about $7.50, which don't include toppings nor tax and tip.

It does have some of the friendliest staff who take care to make the drinks and that each person has a great experience.“

I have since then been 3 times & every food experience is better than the last. With sky rocket high prices everywhere downtown it's nice to get an amazing quality meal that doesn't cost a minimum of $20. I've had their French toast with fresh blue berries and strawberries, their chicken rice bowl that was absolutely delicious & their turkey sandwich on rye bread.
