“It doesn’t get much better than Taste of the City. I have been coming here for many years. The food and I had about everything is always hot, fresh and delicious. The owner Debra is one of the nicest and most genuine people you can ever meet. I can eat anywhere from the Hard Rock, Ft. Lauderdale to Miami Beach but I prefer to come here. I have been very lucky this have this great restaurant within walking distance. The waitress is always friendly and keeps everything moving smoothly. Your drink is never empty. I only wish they were open for dinner. But then again Debra and the stuff need the time to rest. And we should or at least I should. Take Debra to dinner for having such a wonderful place. And really this is the place where everyone knows your name.“

“I am so impressed with Eclair Affaire French Style Cake/ Pastry Cafe. It is very elegant and best ambiance for any event celebration, mother/daughter, friends & family as well. It is totally amazing! The moment you go in the cafe you are treated by friendly courteous staff. Nelita the manager is totally amazing and so is the owner and CEO of the store. My daughter’s Baby Shower was recently catered by them and my experience has been great. I am very satisfied and will definitely continue doing business with them.“

“Living Green has become a must stop when in Ft. Lauderdale. The food and service is consistently excellent and true to their promises on the walls. This means highest ingredients, no artificial flavors, no seed oils, etc. Kyra is professional and welcoming. She is a breath of fresh air every time we visit. We are always happy to see her. “If you want a no frills, simple, exceptionally well priced, and good spot for breakfast or lunch then THIS IS FOR YOU!
I’ve had enough paying $25 for two scrambled eggs on avocado toast. The family and I stumbled into this place (actually had to search for it because it’s in what looked like a closed office building) and we are happy we did. The place is kind of like a time capsule from the decor to the wait staff and the prices.
Reason for the 4 stars is that some of the stuff that doesn’t get much attention seemed a bit dirty, like the blinds.“

We kicked off with a passionfruit margarita & a bacon bloody mary, both bursting with flavor. For our meal, we opted to share the truffle croque madame with a side salad & breakfast potatoes. The toast was wonderfully light & fluffy, & the potatoes had the perfect crunch. We couldn't leave without getting a NY pistachio croissant. The entire experience was enchanting. I'm already looking forward to our next visit before leaving Florida.“

“This is a hidden gem here in Ft. Lauderdale. My colleagues came across this café about a week ago & we decided to check it out. I have since then been 3 times & every food experience is better than the last. With sky rocket high prices everywhere downtown it's nice to get an amazing quality meal that doesn't cost a minimum of $20. I've had their French toast with fresh blue berries and strawberries, their chicken rice bowl that was absolutely delicious & their turkey sandwich on rye bread. Food is fresh and the staff is super friendly. I will continue coming here. THANK YOU!!!!“
