He made us feel truly special and accommodated us to feel as comfortable as possible on a very humid Miami night (my mistake for booking outdoor table). Food and drinks were great. Hospitality at its finest, that will make us come back for brunch in the winter.”

Finally, taking the time to write a long-time-coming review because they went above and beyond expectations, even beyond their usual excellent service. We were planning on hosting a wedding welcome cocktail outdoor at the brewery. The weather turned for the worse and Nick and Kelly quickly arranged for us to use Threefold Cafe instead. We were able to have a beautiful, intimate, private event at the cafe. The bride and groom could not have been happier and the out-of-town guests had an amazing time. The beer and wine selection was perfect. Food was delicious. Staff was attentive and warm. I could not recommend them more 10/10.”

We went with two of her recommendations. The il piu italiano avo toast and mega mushroom omelette…so good!! I went back the next morning because I really wanted to try the don’t be a (lemon) tart French toast…another hit. And my server, Rashad, was another gem! I enjoyed the food, atmosphere and workers at Threefold, and would highly recommend you check this place out.”

“We had an absolutely amazing dinner here. Unassuming, intimate restaurant that easily accommodated our party of five. I asked for the vegan box listed on the menu, but was told they did not have all the ingredients to make the usual dishes, so the chef Kevin created a menu just for me. He was so creative, inventive, and excited about every dish he brought out of the kitchen, and each one was more delicious than the last. I am technically pescatarian, so a few of the dishes had fish sauce, but he would have easily accommodated me with a vegan or vegetarian menu as well. It was honestly one of the most incredible dining experiences I have ever had. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in the Miami/ Coral Gables area.”

We had martini espresso, a drink that has natural fruit juice in it, and the presentation was beautiful, and my favorite drink was the one with basil infused syrup that was the best.  our server, Byron, was extremely knowledgeable on every single dish and ingredient, he is from Ecuador. He was enthusiastic about the food and very attentive. We had a fantastic time, we sat outside, it wasn't too packed, we didn't have to wait for our table either. Bathroom is super clean. The restaurant is clean as well. Very pretty decorations. We are definitely returning and we are going to eat main dishes. Our favorite appetizer was the one with conchas. We also had the platter that had a little bit of everything and it was scrumptious. We ate everything on our plate plates. The croquettes were sooo good too. The only negative thing I have to say were that the oysters were not the best. And I'm very surprised because everything else was on point and perfectly cooked and presentation was very, very pretty.”

I ordered the Black Tonkatsu, which was marvelous. The egg was perfectly soft and yolky, just how I love it. I also tried the gyoza (good, though nothing special), but the spicy mayo onigiri was remarkable. One bite and I felt transported back to a chilly Friday night in a little alleyway in Japan—pure nostalgia. This food is authentic, and it shows.
They even offer shaved ice! Sadly, I didn’t have the space (or time) to try it this visit, but there will definitely be a next time, and I’ll be saving room.

“This is a great restaurant! The ambiance is really nice. From the moment we arrived till we left, everything was great! We were seated promptly and our server brought us some water and gave us a minute to look at the menu. I had the eggs Benedict with potatoes and it was tasty. The rest of the entrees looked good too. For dessert, we had a milkshake that had Nutella and brownie pieces. It was delicious! I’d definitely recommend this restaurant!”
