“You will not get better sushi in the United States and I’d go as far to say as the world. Chef Shingo and Chef Yuta are world class and their Michelin star speaks for itself. They are serving the highest quality fish. I’ve had Michelin star omakase in Tokyo and this is just as good if not better. The service is bar none spectacular. This is my 2nd time visiting and it won’t be my last!”

“Giving 5 stars after receiving a 5 star service from Andrej. We were here for the last weekend of Miami Spice. Out table wasn’t ready when we arrived but he totally made up for it. He made us feel truly special and accommodated us to feel as comfortable as possible on a very humid Miami night (my mistake for booking outdoor table). Food and drinks were great. Hospitality at its finest, that will make us come back for brunch in the winter.”

Finally, taking the time to write a long-time-coming review because they went above and beyond expectations, even beyond their usual excellent service. We were planning on hosting a wedding welcome cocktail outdoor at the brewery. The weather turned for the worse and Nick and Kelly quickly arranged for us to use Threefold Cafe instead. We were able to have a beautiful, intimate, private event at the cafe. The bride and groom could not have been happier and the out-of-town guests had an amazing time. The beer and wine selection was perfect. Food was delicious. Staff was attentive and warm. I could not recommend them more 10/10.”

Still waiting for them to ask how everything is… we came through last year and had a totally different experience staff was super friendly and engaged even though the place was packed. We caught them at turnover and they couldn’t care less. We talked about hitting craft as a high point for our one night in Miami before cruising… and now we won’t bother going back to Bayside.”

“My husband found this little gem and we went for brunch on our first day in Coral Gables. We struck gold! Not only was our server, Monica, a treat but so was the food. We went with two of her recommendations. The il piu italiano avo toast and mega mushroom omelette…so good!! I went back the next morning because I really wanted to try the don’t be a (lemon) tart French toast…another hit. And my server, Rashad, was another gem! I enjoyed the food, atmosphere and workers at Threefold, and would highly recommend you check this place out.”

“We had an absolutely amazing dinner here. Unassuming, intimate restaurant that easily accommodated our party of five. I asked for the vegan box listed on the menu, but was told they did not have all the ingredients to make the usual dishes, so the chef Kevin created a menu just for me. He was so creative, inventive, and excited about every dish he brought out of the kitchen, and each one was more delicious than the last. I am technically pescatarian, so a few of the dishes had fish sauce, but he would have easily accommodated me with a vegan or vegetarian menu as well. It was honestly one of the most incredible dining experiences I have ever had. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in the Miami/ Coral Gables area.”

Very professional, personable and attentive. Anything we asked for he was all over it quickly. It was also my wife's birthday and they we above and beyond to make her dinner special.”

“Absolutely incredible—I don’t even know where to start! I came in Friday for lunch with two colleagues, and we were all blown away. The service, the food, and even the prices are unmatched—almost too good to be true.
I ordered the Black Tonkatsu, which was marvelous. The egg was perfectly soft and yolky, just how I love it. I also tried the gyoza (good, though nothing special), but the spicy mayo onigiri was remarkable. One bite and I felt transported back to a chilly Friday night in a little alleyway in Japan—pure nostalgia. This food is authentic, and it shows.
They even offer shaved ice! Sadly, I didn’t have the space (or time) to try it this visit, but there will definitely be a next time, and I’ll be saving room.
The vibe and aesthetic of the restaurant are small, cozy, and authentically Japanese. Service was just as outstanding—Marco was fantastic and made the experience even better.

“We celebrated my Mother's 90th Birthday there tonite Feb 8..To start with Helen our server and event planner and Georgina the Chef and General Manager were amazing, thoughtful and took absolutely perfect care of us from planning to completion. The table, the appetizers, drinks, main course and lastly the heavenly Churros were all amazing,. All 26 guest at the table loved every little detail and the food was beyond our expectations. Not only did we never get drink orders but we constantly had to ask for water, we asked for meat a certain temperature and were ignored. Literally it was like we were in a deserted island although plenty of wait staff around. Sadly, I will never go back which is a shame and we were able of 5 so they lost 4 other clients.”
