The gathering and good conversation soon took a turn to the ribs and brisket, and then the BBQ took a life of its own ,and all conversation. arguments, agreements, disagreements were soon forgotten to be replaced by this great, flavorful BBQ dinner. “In 2024, I participated in the Key2MIA tour, which took place around Juneteenth. One of the stops on the tour was “Meat the Veggies,” where I had the chance to try their food for the first time. I was blown away by their impressive presentation, beautifully set-up tent, and food truck. I was genuinely excited to try whatever they were offering, and thank goodness I did—it was absolutely delicious! Their mango chipotle sauce quickly became my favorite, and I even tagged and persistently reached out to them for months just to get more of it. I also tried their pulled oxtail meat, which was a solid 10/10. It’s a must-try, and I highly recommend it. I truly love this brand!“

“Best ribs. There's so many places that just give you dry flavorless ribs slathered in basic bbq sauce but here is so worth it. The potato salad here is what made me realize it isn't that I hate potato salad but that people make bad potato salad, would recommend. I do wish it was easier to know what times ribs are ready because I have come here for them and they're like an hour away from being ready. The chicken here on the other hand is very dry which doesn't bother me too much cause I want ribs anyhow.“

“I've been eating Shorty's BBQ since I was a kid. I've visited twice in the past two months and the food has been great and just like I remember. You definitely get a lot of food for your buck. Both times the wait staff were friendly and helpful. I wanted to give special recognition to our waitress this past weekend, Roxana, who was one of the sweetest and caring wait staff I have had before. She helped us with the menu and took great care of us.“

“After having probably the worst burger in the Outback, I experienced a burger as it should be in the Longhorn. Fresh mince, nothing frozen, with everything that goes with it. Class.
My wife's steak was cooked to perfection (rare). Class.
Our service was quick and very friendly
Moderately priced, $50 for a 12 oz NY steak with two side dishes and a citizen's menu including fries, plus a soft drink. That was worth it.“

“Went to LauderAle Brewery this afternoon to p/u a BBQ dinner take-out. Chose ribs and I must say in all my many years of BBQ consumption these ribs were some of the best I’ve ever had! Absolutely fabulous!! Fall off the bone yet meat was firm and flavorful! Definitely a 10!“
