“Fun fact, this location used to be a pizza place called Pizza Rev pre-COVID. They abruptly closed which made me super sad because they had delicious and cheap gluten free pizza and I used to go all the time.

So I was overjoyed to discover this place, they have gluten free AND vegan options and they were DELICIOUS. My husband had the vegan make-your-own with jalapeños and I had a sausage ricotta gluten free, forgot the name one. Both pizzas were a 10/10.

They have some outdoor seating which was nice. Good ambiance from what I could tell inside.

My only complaint - it would be nice if they had a fake meat option for my husband. Overall, I liked their pizzas more than the Detroit style pizza place in Midtown.

Vegetarian options: Vegan cheese and veggie toppings. However, there is no fake meat option.

“It’s basically a grimy old watering hole. And I mean that in a good way. They have one of the best happy hour specials in coral cable cables. It’s a great place to pregame or post game before or after getting a bite to eat at one of the amazing restaurants outside.“

“Came to Sweetgreen to order my usual salad and was treated terribly by a rude employee named Yesenia. I asked her politely to add avocado, and she said, "We ran out of avocado yesterday." (Mind you), right in front of me was another salad with avocado. I pointed this out, saying, "Isn't that avocado then?" She replied curtly, "I am not allowed to serve avocados."

I was quite shocked. Clearly, there was another salad with avocado in it. I requested to speak to the manager, and Yesenia very abruptly said, "She's right there." At that moment, I directly asked Yesenia why she had been so rude. She responded dismissively, "I can't deal with this right now," and took off her gloves. Her manager, Luisa, had to take over and proceeded to make the salad for me.

My partner and I were speechless. We frequent this Sweetgreen location and have never had an issue until today. The manager, Luisa, explained that Yesenia was "going through something." While I understand and empathize, I honestly felt at that point that it was pointless to say anything further.

We paid for the two salads and sat outside the restaurant to eat them, while Yesenia sat across from us, presumably taking a break to cool off. This experience has led me to believe that the service these days has gone downhill, not just because of Yesenia's rudeness but also because of managers who don't hold employees accountable

“AMAZING real Italian food made by a guy actually from Italy. From the outside it doesn't look like anything, bit inside it is quite stylish and cozy. A great place for a date. Get a bottle of wine and dine in a relaxed European fashion. Really, the food is remarkable. Brought several people with me when I went back and they truly enjoyed it. My mom is from Rome so I'm not easily impressed with most Italian places. The star pizzas are special and totally delicious too! “I was very pleasantly surprised. The filet mignon was tender and cooked to perfection, another member of our party ordered the pork chop and it was also delicious and tender. The other entrée that we had was the scallops and risotto. The scallops were cooked perfectly and the risotto was the perfect compliment. It was creamy and tasty. “We walked there in the evening and had a reservation which we booked about an hour before we arrived. The food and service were excellent, our waiter was very helpful and our drinks arrived quickly. It had a real feel of a french establishment and we started with a couple glasses of Sancerre. The flavor of the french onion soup was extremely well balanced and I highly recommend their pepper steak (au poivre) which is done with filet mignon. The cook on the steak was exactly what I asked for and you can tell the chef is precise and confident with all of the dishes. The atmosphere was pleasantly subdued, dim and had its own flair, you can tell the reason this place has been around so long is because they have a reputation for success. I think either the manager or the owner stopped by our table to check in on us as well, which we appreciated. We ordered their prawn special and my wife was thrilled with how it came out. I want to go back for some escargot and try their other dishes sometime.
