“I've been meaning to try Sushi Corner after reading many reviews about how tasty and affordable this restaurant is, finding all these reviews to be completely true! This hole in the wall gem of West Kendall is well worth your time to try! I came in with my boyfriend last night to their small no frills location and was immediately greeted by our server who was very attentive throughout our whole meal. It's true that they do serve everything using plastic ware which to me doesn't matter at all. I care about the quality of food and the food is definitely top notch! My boyfriend and I decided to order various menu items to share. I started with a hot bowl of Miso Soup $2 which was good; loved the portion which I felt was more than most places. Next we had the Rainbow Roll $10 (California roll topped w/various fish) which was glaringly fresh and came out beautifully. The Sexy Roll $10 (fish tempura, avocado, cilantro, jalapeño, rolled w/soy paper, tempura flakes, eel sauce, spicy mayo) was by far my favorite just because of all the incredible flavors in it. The Florida Roll $9 (spicy conch, cucumber, masago) definitely surprised me with its spice level and amount of conch within it. Lastly, we ordered the Sushi Corner Fried Rice $8 (chicken, shrimp, vegetables, and masago) which ultimately surprised me in portion and tastiness. The fried rice isn't over done with soy sauce so it remains tasting light though its also savory because of a smoky flavor. So tasty! Can't wait to try your other roles and highly recommend to anyone in the area as I think they also deliver!“

“Authentic Peruvian fusion cuisine with amazing atmosphere and outstanding service. A true gem In Pinecrest. The ceviche is the best in town with real fresh fish. My favorite is the Apaltado 1111 Ceviche with the amazing leche de Tigre and avocados !! The sticky shrimps are a must. 1111 has a fabulous Pisco sour selection and imported drinks. Don’t leave without finishing with a sweet bite of the dreamy suspiro limeño it will literally take your breath away. The Friday life music was fantastic too. May I also add that the home delivery service is fantastic, the food will arrive quickly, in perfect presentation and fresh, same quality as in the restaurant. I just plated it and had a gorgeous and delicious dinner party at home.“

“My “go to” local sushi spot for when I’m craving some sush. They’re always quick when ordering take out and the quality is usually very good. Some rolls are better than others, the classics are usually always great. Kampai roll, zombie roll, and the pad Thai are my faves.“

“This has not been my first time dining at sushi Maki in Dadeland. I actually go quite often and take my parents with me. Today is my parents 58th wedding anniversary and they both wanted to go to sushi maki to celebrate for lunch. As always we were greeted with friendly hand waves. Leo was our waiter and gave us the incredible service that we are used to. We told him we were there to celebrate my parents anniversary and at the end of our meal he brought out an assortment of dessert treats on the house. I will say it again this is the best sushi maki with the best employees and the best service! Thank you Leo for making it so special.“

What really elevated the experience was Yailen's exceptional service. His in-depth knowledge of different types of sushi and his ability to recommend the perfect pairing was impressive. Yailen suggested the ceviche rolls, and I must say it was one of the best recommendations I have ever received. The freshness of the ingredients and the combination of flavors perfectly complemented our experience.

We also dine in regularly and have catered a few dinners, all a success!My 5 year old loves this restaurant, especially the kids chicken katsu, the tofu pad Thai and the salmon teriyaki! She's also starting to try some of the sushi rolls. My kid is a picky eater, and sushi rock has been the one consistent restaurant since she was 3. Give it a try!“

“5 stars across the board!!! The staff and owners are so kind and caring, they make you feel like family. The food was amazing and I absolutely recommend their hibachi and their udon. My husband and I choose to have it spicy although you have the option to choose if you prefer spicy or not. The chef was so genuine himself he made sure to come out and see how you liked the food, while the owners took care of every need and constantly checked in to see how they can help. This was the best udon I have ever had, and the combination of delicious food and such sweet people made this the best experience ever. Totally recommend!!!“

“Around the block of our house stands this classic asian spot. Always passed by and never got the chance to try it. One night me and my wife decided to make a visit. It seems it is perfect for a quick, flavorful asian experience, especially if you're a couple willing to grab seats at the bar! Our bartender/waiter was super friendly and attentive. Despite being a bustling Friday night, the food arrived swiftly. We savored Japanese and Asian cuisine, and left thoroughly impressed!

Minor suggestion: adding a pinch more seasoning to the fried rice would elevate it. However, our rolls and teriyaki steak were really good, the steak was really tender! The onion soup and the asian salad were really tasty too. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and will probably return to witness the grill show.“

“Just a very good take out Chinese spot. If you tried other Chinese/ Cantonese food, you need to try this one. It's above the average of other Chinese food. Just tastier in my opinion. They include sushi in their menu but I'm telling you ,even basic stuff like their egg drop soup is better than most. This place hits the spot every time we order take out from my job on the weekends. “We were out for a walk in the Gables and decided to stop for sushi. We ordered 2 rolls—both were prepared decently and the fish tasted fresh. There was only one other table of guests at 12:30 but it looked like busy take out orders. Maybe that’s why the service was really lackadaisical—had to ask for drink refills, were handed a box for our remaining pieces without any service or ginger or sauce as would find in a take out order and we had the equivalent of a full roll left.“

“I am a big favorite of gyoza and Iron Sushi’s doesn’t disappoint. I also liked the eel roll. They make it with the rice on the outside and topped with masago. The dynamite roll is so thick so it’s hard to get it in your mouth. Very tasty! I finally figured out the best way to eat it is from the dynamite first after you dip it in soy sauce. The service is lightning fast and very friendly, And the prices are not too high either.“
