“Ate tonight with the fam. Jose took great care of us. Charismatic. Engaging. Knowledgable. Bread service was good. Dad had the aged ribeye medium rare with mushrooms and onions, a salad and potato au gratin. He liked all of it. Sis had to the smokehouse burger and fries. She likes it. This sis (me) had the shrimp and filet medium rare with fresh veggies. The fresh veggies were perfectly cooked. And several were included. The filet and shrimp were cooked as they should be. Which lately is hard to find. Not at Firebirds. Highly recommend. Ask for Jose. Finished the dinner with the brownie à la mode and dad had a cup of coffee. Delish.“

My wife and were in town for the week celebrating our 36th anniversary and Fleming's-Fort Lauderdale made us feel welcomed. We will definitely visit them again when we come back to Fort Lauderdale.“

“Whenever I am on the road traveling, I always stop at an Eddie V‘s and it never disappoints. The service is superior. I asked a gentleman to point me in the direction to the restroom, and he literally walked me across the dining room to show me where the restroom was…from the time you are greeted at the host stand to the time you leave they always seem go above and beyond and that is something I definitely value no a days . I sat at the bar by myself and felt completely comfortable. The crowd is always very nice and I always seem to meet the most Interesting people when I’m sit at the bar . The two bartenders were so friendly and really accommodating, also valued their recommendations for food selection and wine… the food was exceptional as always. I enjoyed the happy hour lamb chops with au gratin potatoes along with a French martini .

The live band always sets the vibe and makes you want to stay a little longer! I was surprised to see them playing on a Sunday …it was just perfect!“

“Great experience overall… We ordered the chicken entree & the flavors were bursting—my only issue was that the chicken could have been more crispy on top instead which makes the dish more aesthetically pleasing and tasteful… But it was still tender and ranging with flavor. Lastly, our server “Will” provided excellent “CS” even while attending to a separate large party of 8+ people… Definitely a must have if you are in the area or near the Aventura Mall.“

“A Wonderful Evening at Blue & Livingston

We had such a lovely evening at Blue & Livingston on Saturday! From the moment we walked in, I was impressed by how clean, chic, and beautifully designed the restaurant is. It has such a great vibe and wonderful energy — a place where you immediately feel comfortable and ready to enjoy the evening.

The menu is incredible, and everything we ordered was delicious. We started with the ceviche, which was absolutely delicious, followed by the grilled calamari, which was equally wonderful. I had the Prime Hanger Steak, and it was fantastic. We also enjoyed the truffle mac & cheese, which was rich and delicious, and the tiramisu was the perfect way to finish the meal.

The only thing I would mention as a small area for improvement was the Old Fashioned. The presentation was beautiful, but it wasn’t really a traditional Old Fashioned. There were no orange, bitters, or muddled cherries, and it was served quite plain. Adding those classic elements would really make the cocktail live up to the traditional Old Fashioned experience.

Overall, we had a fantastic evening. The atmosphere, energy, food, and presentation were all wonderful. Blue & Livingston is a beautiful restaurant with an impressive menu, and we will definitely be back! ❤“

““ Went in around happy hour for girls night on Thursday, ordered a Mojito. It did not have any mint or enough alcohol. It seemed watered down. The bartender dicey that night seemed upset as we told our waiter we didn’t like the drinks. Felt super uncomfortable. They had a full bar only one person making drinks for the whole restaurant. Happy hour menu was great however, no complaints on the food at all. Flat bread & bang bang shrimp was out of this world. But the service and quality control was easily overlooked, 2 stars.“

Manager JP Abbas and our server Jodi were incredibly attentive and genuine. The post-dinner Japanese bourbon (rice-based) they offered was a beautiful surprise and a very elegant touch. The drinks were amazing, especially the Brown Butter Old Fashioned—it was absolutely delicious! Unfortunately, the stuffed chicken was a major disappointment. We both ordered it, and the chicken was overcooked and barely stuffed. We've had the stuffed chicken at Ruth's Chris before, and typically the stuffing is generously filled and oozing out, while the chicken is moist and flavorful. Unfortunately, that was not the case last night. The chicken was lackluster and definitely not what we expected from a prestigious steakhouse like Ruth's Chris. While Jennifer and the drinks were exceptional, the quality of the main course did not meet the standard we've come to expect from Ruth's Chris.“

Our server, Maxwell, for our first visit was incredibly knowledgeable about the different cuts of steak and provided excellent wine recommendations as well. He anticipated our every need and was very personable & polite. The Australian Waygu filet was the absolute best steak I have ever tasted and is now my first choice when available. Pair this with the Darioush Cabernet for an unforgettable experience. The chef prepares the steak perfectly to temperature which is not as common as it should be.
