“We were there today for lunch passing through on our way back home to Fort Pierce and sat outside. I gotta say our server JC was the best server I have ever had anywhere. Funny, personable, nice guy. We enjoyed our time there immensely thanks to him. Give that guy a raise & a bonus!!“

“Love eating at Cracker Barrel. But hate your checkout. Half the time I stop at Cracker Barrel and pay with a credit card or debit your terminal STOPS my process and demands I rate your service. If I have a question or problem, I’ll ask for a manager. I don’t want to be held up at checkout to answer questions. When the survey pops up, I put in zero and will continue to do that until you stop holding up my payment process.“

“Slow service even though it wasn't busy. We'd booked a table and it wasn't prepared for us on arrival so we had to wait while they “prepared our table”. The service when it came was okay but very slow to order drinks, get drinks and order food. The steak and ribs were delicious though! We got bread given to the table which would have been a lovely touch had it not come once we'd got our food already. Sloppy red wine service resulted in a spillage to my white trousers! Lots of room for improvement! Thankfully, the food was good!“

“The service was on and off while at the pool. There were a couple of bartenders/servers it was obvious who was working their ass off vs. one who had an attitude towards certain people/circumstances after a couple of interactions during my trip. The drink menu and options were great, but again, specials not explained well (It was like I was a bother because I was only ordering drinks and not food, too). The atmosphere at the pool was very relaxed and chill. Plenty of chairs, tables and beach/water areas.“

“This is the best Culvers! Knocked down service though because one of the recent times I ate here (dine in) an accidental chicken sandwich was put on our tray. We didn't notice when it was dropped off, after dividing the food we saw it. After a few minutes of it being on our table a server came back for it and gave it to another table. Pretty sure you're not supposed to do that.
Otherwise the place is clean and the food consistently good.“

“My wife and I visited Cooter’s Smokehouse whilst on vacation from the U.K. Located in the Davenport area, this truly authentic family run business is a welcome change from the abundance of franchised restaurants in and around the tourist areas of Orlando. Upon arriving the welcome was genuine, friendly and relaxed. The dining area was cool and practical, these guys don’t need bright lights and fancy tv’s everywhere, they impress you with their service and their food. One thing to note is that the variety of drinks on offer is limited, no alcohol, which was fine for us, but I personally would have preferred the addition of some different soda options to compliment the drinks on the menu. We made our order and sat back in anticipation of some good hearty homestyle BBQ fare and wow did we get it in abundance. I ordered a 3-meat platter of ribs, pulled pork and brisket. They also offer pork chops, but unfortunately, they had sold out prior to us arriving. The first thing that my wife and I both noticed was the lack of sauce smothering our food. At last somewhere that doesn’t rely on a sauce to provide flavour. It was obvious that there was a lot of pride and effort put into cooking these meats, so much so that each and every one of them had a very different taste. Succulent and in no way dry even without sauce, the meat simply fell apart and melted in the mouth. There were two different homemade sauces available on our table, both of which offered something different in terms of a slightly spicey fruity flavour or a less spicey more rounded BBQ flavour. The portions are extremely generous, so much so that my 3-meat platter could easily feed two or more people, yes they are that big. So what about value for money. Well as regular visitors to the Orlando area, my wife and I have been fortunate to eat in a variety of places but nowhere has come close to providing the value for money that Cooter’s Smokehouse did. The value for money here is exceptional. So would we return to Cooter’s Smokehouse? Most definitely, this family-run business in the heart of Davenport is only a 20-minute drive from the popular area of ChampionsGate, but what it provides in terms of authentic BBQ food is in our opinion a different world in terms of the quality of food on offer here. “I went out to eat with my Two Year Old Twins by myself for the first time yesterday (8/25/25) and decided to go to Applebees because I saw something about the new Ultimate Trio & was feeling up for it. I, for the life of me, can’t remember anyone’s names, but our server was amazing. It was before shift change & it looked like she may have been either the only server there (there may have been another, I’m not sure). We were there around 3:30/4:00. She honestly was so very kind and compassionate as I dealt with one Twin being a social butterfly (he stayed in our section, it was fairly empty & I’m very gracious to the other patrons for showing him so much love) as well as trying to feed my other Twin who was at the table actually wanting to eat. There was also a lady bussing tables who interacted my son & was so kind to him as she did her job. Moms get a lot of judgment, but everyone made me feel so comfortable & assured me I was doing a good job & sometimes it’s nice to hear that. I’m a former server & always tried to do the same when I saw Moms out with kids. As far as the food goes it fresh & hot. Great presentation and portions as well. Perfect amount of sauce on my boneless wings and the Twins loved their broccoli and chicken. We usually Ubereats or DoorDash food for convenience, but this experience made me want to come back in the restaurant.“

“We’ve been here quite a few times when we visit the US. The first time was when hurricane Irma hit us in 2017 and even though they’d had a lot of issues due to the weather, they opened and looked after us so well then so we came back many times. Yes I love the food they do here but it’s just as much about the warm welcome we always get when we come in. \nIt is always clean and you can usually get a table quickly. The last time we came was in September 2019(before the world went mad and we were totally conned) and they were amazing. This time, the same. I love their French toast with strawberries and bananas. In fact, I’d been looking at their menu whilst still in the UK to make sure they still did it. When we got to Florida, the first thing we did was come to this IHOP. The staff were as lovely as always and we had our usual choices. They brought it out quickly and it was fantastic. After following a low carb diet for many months, this was a wonderful treat. We have been back several times this holiday and will be going a couple more times before we sadly fly home. My husband said we need IHOP to come to the UK. It wouldn’t work. Nothing works in the UK.
