“Passing through Jacksonville the other day, wanted a fun and different place for lunch, and saw the great reviews for this place. What a great lunch spot! Mariana guided us through the menu and gave us some expert recommendations. Our lunches were soooo good — authentic recipes, great flavors, all served in a fun, artsy atmosphere. Loved it!“
“I can’t express how much I enjoy each and every visit I had made so far. I plan to try everything they have on the menu and even the stuff they recommend. Thank you!! Everyone of the employees are amazing! So far I have liked everything that I have ordered except one it wasn’t bad but not for my liking, if that makes sense.“
“This is the best place ever because no alcohol is allowed and everything there is for the good of your body. People are the nicest and they let me do comedy without being mean to me. I highly recommend this place for all the CBD deliciousness. I’m also going to do their drum circle which I’m super excited about.“
“I came here to find a new coffee place so I could stop going to starbucks and was SO pleasantly surprised. I tried to play it safe and order a shaken espresso but was swayed to try a bramble iced coffee and I am SO glad I did, so delicious, and perfect amount of flavor and sweetness. AND THE BAGEL!? holy moly. By far the best everything bagel I have ever had. It's filled with cream cheese and it's so soft and salty and flavorful UGH I cannot wait to go back. 11/10“
“Better than Starbucks and Dunkin Donuts. This mom and pop place is ?. The people are nice. The place is breathtakingly beautiful. If you are an art enthusiast, love good coffee, sweets, bagels, or just want a place to exhale… this place can do all of that for you. Glad to have the experience while visiting the state.“
“Coffee fans must visit and try the great drinks from this local business! What a wonderful first visit I had! I surely got my “Deliciosostyle” (Yummystyle in Spanish ?) dose at Daily Dose Craft Bar, Inc. A special shoutout to the awesome staff on this visit: Rebecca, Ghen & Cherise! These ladies were very helpful, professional and welcoming. I ordered the “Toasted Coconut Oolong Milk Tea” (Roasted oolong tea, toasted coconut puree, & coconut milk)…This drink was super refreshing and tasted great! As a big coconut fan, I went Loco for the Coconut after enjoying this beverage! The interior was roomy and had comfortable seating. The painted mural on the far wall was so cool and added to the chill and relaxing vibes while slowly sipping my tea. Before leaving, I treated myself by purchasing a bag of organic coffee from a local business called Sweetwater Organic Co. in Gainesville, Fl. Daily Dose has a nice variety of coffee from this company for sale.I know what drink I’m ordering on my return visit and will also try something new from their menu!☕️?? ???“
“Nice place. Good coffee. Good cause. Music is awkward - hispanic and sounds like you’re at a party or mexican taco truck rather than a coffee shop. Hard to focus and read cause it’s so loud. I ended up cutting my reading short and leaving. The seating and inside is nice.“
“I had a bit difficulty locating the parking for this place(since it is not located directly in front or the side of it) and found you have to use a nearby parking lot to access it. But it is well worth doing so! It's a cute, calming place with delicious drinks. I would like to visit again!“
“There is nothing negative to say about our experience here. It was the best meal my partner and I ever ate together in the 5 years we’ve been together. It felt like my European grandmother I never had made me a personalized gourmet breakfast/brunch.This is authentic food made fresh to order so do not come in a rush. Sit back and enjoy the quaint atmosphere and kind people.Worth the wait and worth the money!“
“The atmosphere is welcoming and cozy. Donut shop vibes are on 10,000. The customer service is always friendly and pleasant. The prices are great for the size and quality of the donuts, the croissant sandwiches, the CRONUTS ? absolutely live the place and highly recommend you try it out! 500/10“
“GREAT coffee, great service, food was fresh and tasty.Ladies who took the order and the servers were super nice, and gave great recommendations.I had a seasonal oat-milk latte- and me being super picky with my coffee, this one did not disappoint.Breakfast Sandwich in sourdough bread was so delicious. We took two baked sweets home and they were amazing!!!Their options of take home items like honey, tea, syrups, olive oil, pasta- were very intriguing. We can't wait to come back.Parking: Parking is on the street, no lot available for the location. Street parking is within walkable distance.“
“The Ehlers-Danlos Support Group of Jacksonville holds a monthly social on the 3rd Thursday of every month at 11am at the Mini Bar. We love the calming atmosphere and the staff are amazing! And of course the food & drinks too! Thank you Mini Bar!“
“This place makes me happy just walking in because you see the love and care with which they decorate the space. They have a variety of sweet treats for the dessert crowd as well as some beautifully designed sandwiches and pastries for the savory minded. Boba can be added to any drink, and the people who work here are kind and helpful.Dietary restrictions: They offer milk substitutes.“
“Lovely coffee shop with an enjoyable ambiance. Ordered takeaway and wished I could’ve stayed to enjoy the space. Ordered an iced chocolate which was not bad, as well as a blueberry chocolate chip muffin which was alright - a little too rich/dense for my liking. Service was fantastic - I was met with a warm and friendly smile. Though there weren’t many before me, it took a little while to get my drink. Overall a great place to chill or do some work. Difficult to get parking.“
“Cannot live without their MammaCucha (I probably spelled that wrong) blend. We buy in bulk for our machine at home but I also stopped by weekly for a post toddler drop off pick me up! Staff is always happy to see you pastries are delicious!“
“I would like to express that this establishment accommodates a diverse clientele and boasts an exceptional staff. Upon each visit, I consistently explore new menu items, and the culinary offerings consistently impress. While I suggest slight improvements in the preparation of the fries, the overall quality of the burgers and sandwiches is outstanding. I wholeheartedly recommend this establishment to anyone seeking a satisfying lunch or breakfast experience.“
“My favorite vegetarian tacos in town!! The flavors of everything here are so well done. The staff is great, and I love the local art featured along the walls. Great place for lunch or to sit and work for a couple hours. Conveniently located in 5 Points next to lots of shops and bars.“
“This was my first stop in the Brass Tack and it was great. The people were friendly and made a mean frozen coffee. Unlike other coffee shops the frozen coffee was fresh brewed and smooth. No hard ice chunks in this one. It reminded me of the coffee places in AK where we are serious about our coffee. Good job.“
“This place was so amazing. The best buttermilk chicken I’ve ever had. The food quality was top notch. Everyone was so friendly and all the items we ordered were some of the best food I’ve had. The employees were so friendly and attentive. We will be back! Plus, it’s beautiful.“
“This place is absolutely a wonderful place to have brunch with your family or friends. It is located in Edgewood, plenty of parking in the morning and probably they can get pretty busy on their rush hour. this place is so cute! when you enter, on the left you will see the counter with all their sweet goods and where you can order. that morning they only have 2 sweet choices which was a butter cream filled cake and chocolate muffins, believe it or not I did not try any of the sweets but I got their strawberry jam and I tried it yesterday and it was sooooo good!!!!!!!! very fresh and the sweetness is not over the top. we ordered Foccacia Egg Sandwich added sausage, Hummus Focaccia Sandwich and added a sausage and their strawberry sourdough pancake as for drinks we have strawberry lemonade and the strawberry latte. ohh my goodness! the food was amazing! The focaccia bread was fresh and soft and the egg and the sausage compliments each other it was good! I did not try the Hummus Focaccia sandwich but it looks amazing too and the pesto that was put on it smells so fresh! my favorite of all was the strawberry sourdough, I can eat that everyday! I don't know what to tell you but if you are thinking of a place to eat, this is a must try place! very cute and they have plenty of seating inside and out! All the staff was very nice too!“
“Came in on a weekday morning and was immediately welcome. The space has a clean look. There were lots of different options from St. Patrick Day festivities. I opted for the matcha vanilla and coffee. The matcha wasn't pronounced as I hoped and texture more dense. The coffee though was bold, love. Definitely will try again while in the area.“
“I stopped in this morning after checking out the menu and had the chorizo eggs benedict. The food was delicious and the price was pretty good. Very quick service. Since it was my first time, they also gave me a free blueberry muffin and it was easily one of the best I've ever had. I'd definitely recommend and plan on going again.“
“We came here after a 5k for a group brunch. I have Celiac Disease, and always struggle to find decent options at restaurants. The menu had so many gluten free options! And even when I didn't realize an option existed for a certain dish, the server made sure I knew I could sub GF toast, or other options. The food was great, the cold brew coffee was delicious, and I can't wait to come back.“
“Wasn't really my type of food and flavor, though it was well-made. I went in for a bacon, egg and cheese on a bagel, got a cinnamon bun, which I will say, was very dense, but a bit oily and a loaf of sourdough bread. I was surprised it was $32! Good food not really my type of flavor with the things we're on the sandwich“
“I was visiting from out of town and needed to grab a coffee and a quick bite. I was greeted by a wonderful young man at the drive through window. He was very polite and made an intentional gesture to have a conversation with me. I really appreciated that as I was headed out for a very busy day. Coffee was fantastic to boot! Will 100% return - highly recommended!“
“I purchased the turkey, provolone, lettuce and tomato crepe. Very filling! Worth the almost $10 price. To drink I had the tiramisu cafelatte. Super delicious. New favorite in fact. The woman working was sweet and made my order with care.I was a bit worried about ordering something with "fresh" veggies, because I have had bad experience at other places. However everything was fresh and crisp as it should be!On a previous stop I purchased the Nutella and strawberry crepe. Which I enjoyed very much. And with that I had the caramel cafelatte. Also very good (this tiramisu one is king though). This will become one of my regular spots for a filling healthier lunch.“
“I walked in to get just a run of the mill coffee this morning because of the convenience to another business I was helping to open in the same strip. I was pleasantly surprised by the lovely customer service and the most delicious baked goods. I selected the apple pecan bourbon balls and apple crumb coffee cake to go. Oh my gosh! Those apple pecan bourbon balls were to die for! I’m still waiting to try the coffee cake, but there were two ladies in the cafe enjoying it, so I’d bet it is just as good!“
“Flamingo Coffee is nestled inJacksonville FL in a nice urban plaza with rustic decor and most importantly good coffee. The barista team was friendly and skilled. Seating will be limited on a busy day but this place is worth the stop! We had Honey Latte's which were well prepared. The espresso blend used here is the Bird Blend. I neglected to pull the region and roasting notes but based on the cup I'm sipping, a bag of these beans are in my future!I now have a pink Flamingo mug for home . Will revisit.“
“Lovely coffee lounge in riverside. The food & coffee were delicious ?, service was pleasant, and the atmosphere was peaceful. Great place to dine in, read a book, work on a paper or novel, wifi friendly so you can bring your laptop. There are various pastry options to choose from, breakfast sandwiches (which are packaged cold, but you can request the batista to warm it for you), overnight oats, yogurt parfaits, etc. We ordered a hot caramel latte, bacon egg and cheese muffin, lemon cream fan & a Duval Sunset (tea & orange juice mix). All tasted great! Would def recommend this spot to just sit and enjoy the little moments ?.“
“Cute little coffee shop downtown. Great coffee & and outside seating area on the back side of the shop. It's quiet & very peaceful. I tried the cranberry orange muffin, chocolate chip cookie, hot caramel latte, and an oreo frappe. All were delicious & decent price. Would highly recommend this spot to sit & chat with friends outside. The establishment itself is a little small, so no seating inside. Parking is parallel parking downtown, not sure if there is a parking lot nearby, but still worth popping in to try this place out!“
“Best Ellianos by far around!! Every time I take the first sip of the coffee, it just melts lol The workers there are so sweet literally try to go as much as I can even so they know my order when I show up!! I never have any issues out of this Ellianos!!! Try the ice white mocha with caramel drizzle and sweet cream foam best by far!!“
“Hunnie, my first time to this place and it was so nice. It’s a cute little desert place. The ice cream was okay. But the cinnamon roll with pecans and icing was so good. I also tried their banana pudding. It was good also. Not like mamas but delicious nonetheless. Can’t wait to visit again.“
“Even though the store was busy, it was clean, plenty of associates were available to assist and the checkout lines were seamlessly smooth. I could spend a while day here just collecting ideas. Cafe food was always good, meatballs on point!!“
“Working on a Saturday got better when I got a special treat from The Mrs. Lindsay Moberg! I can’t wait to dig into this brownie! And the Chocolate Chip Cookie (not pictured because I ate is right away) was delicious! Thank you Back to the Grind for the Saturday pick-me-up!“
“We stopped by over the weekend only because we were too early to be where we needed to be. My youngest daughter has cancer and wasn’t really feeling well. We were sat at a table, thought everything was fine, but she didn’t want the chairs (hip surgery, legs were hurting) So we asked for a high chair and still no, then a booth and she was finally comfortable! I was so overwhelmed but the young women working were being so sweet and without even a second look they were accommodating. We thought our girl wouldn’t eat, but she asked for bacon and she said it was the best bacon! All of our food was amazing, even though we had to speed eat to get to where we needed to be. I really couldn’t be more thankful and appreciative for how we were treated, I was at my breaking point and ended up leaving with a very happy family. Thank you!“
“Wonderful breakfast egg, sausage, and cheese pita with butter! Lots of eggs inside and so good. His cheeseburgers and fries are so fantastic as well.A great place to have breakfast and lunch. Closes at ? 3 so get it earlyas apposed to later in the Day.He also has great coffee, iced tea, and more sodas that you can imagine! Try it, you won't be sorryEnjoy!!We have been going there for years.“
“Met some coworkers here for breakfast. They were visiting from IL. 2 of us had coffee, very good. 2 had sandwiches, both good. 1 cinnamon roll (eh, I won't order again) and 1 apple juice I think. Cute little place, charming. I would go again.Kid-friendliness: Was definitely kid friendly.“
“I was looking for a light brunch before heading out of town for the weekend and I found Ahava Cafe at the Chabad on the UNF campus off St John's Bluff. I love the name of the cafe. Ahava is one of my favorite expressions of love. It's Hebrew and kind of means "love in action." It's both just an experience or emotion, but a love of the will; a love that is faithful and persistent. But I digress...Ahava Cafe is a simple cafe serving coffee, smoothies, pastries, and simple sandwiches and paninis. We got the Avocado Toast and Bagels and Lox. The Avocado Toast was hefty. Thick toast spread with pesto, sliced avocados, an obscene amount of feta cheese, and everything bagel seasoning. The bagels and lox was a traditional offering with a plain bagel, a thick spreading of cream cheese and topped with smoked salmon, tomatoes, and thin sliced red onions. Both of these plates were delicious. The pesto was a delicious contrast with the feta and avocado and the bagel and lox were cool and refreshing. Definitely go check them out.“
“Quality and truely delicious ! This place has the BEST croissants I've ever eaten and I have been to Paris. My husband Rich and I eat them right out of the box. We love the owner as he has remembered us and our orders. I grew up in a polish home so know homemade pirogies and these rival my great aunts'.“
“The owner Amy is an absolute angel and she runs an establishment in that image… good patrons, great music, and FANTASTIC service. Queer friendly, a safe place, but also just a lovely little “hole in the wall” to escape adult life. Refreshing to see the owner of an establishment take such a hands on approach free of entitlement, you will see her doing heavy lifting but with a smile! If you are looking for good service and a place to relax then here is your spotParking: Always a gamble on weekends but simple enoughWheelchair accessibility: Wide door, bathroom has plenty of room as well as accommodations“
“If you want a great coffee, come here! My husband and I order vanilla iced lattes everywhere we go, and we decided to try this coffee shop unexpectedly when the one we were originally going to was closed. To our surprise this coffee was not only AMAZING, but so well priced! Only $3 for a large iced latte! And the lady who made our drinks was so nice, we really felt welcomed. Also they had so many delicious looking deserts that were so tempting, but I am eating clean right now so I will be back another time for those! We took our coffees to go, but the atmosphere was very nice and cozy, lots of people enjoying their coffees. Very pleasant experience here and a delicious coffee that I will be back for again ??“
“Absolutely amazing! Best coffee I’ve ever had! Made perfect, they gave suggestions when I wasn’t sure of some details in my coffee and came out exactly what I had in my mind and very friendly wish I lived closer to only come here. Mind blown!“
“I love the fact that they make their own syrups. They also had a golden latte (tumeric) which I ordered. A little spicy and full of flavor! I don’t see those often,They also have carbonated coffees which are a newer concept for me but I do enjoy them.We shared the quiche. It was a little heavy on the salt but overall very tasty.I love the alley in the back where they have small table to sit and enjoy coffee while enjoying the lovely weather.I would come back here again!Vegetarian options: There are plenty of sweets that are vegetarian.Dietary restrictions: The have several alternative milks.Parking: Limited street parking.Kid-friendliness: There are several options for kids.“
“love the kids play area! only one way in and out which makes for easy supervision. a great indoor play area when it's hot outside. my only complaint is sometimes bigger kids can take over and be really oblivious to the younger ones. I've had my 2 and 3 year old knocked down on numerous occasions but that's someone else's poor parenting. not the cafés fault. just watch out.“
“Don't judge the building by its looks. I happened to meet up with somebody from my local church to go over some Scripture and Church planning for coffee and and this place has really good coffee and prices I was told. I love the setting the interior is very warm and welcoming there's comfy chairs to sit back and relax and or tables to set up close to. I opted for the Americano with cream and it was delicious and way reasonably priced. And then again at a later time. Randomly for a caramel macchiato. Again for coffee this good at $4 there's no other place I would rather go. It's places like these that I would be more apt to frequent because I want to support the church versus my local Starbucks. Overall very good experience the coffee was very good and the prices were excellent I will definitely come back again and again. Cheers!“
“I had a lentil soup with warm bread and hot tea. There is a variety of selections to dishes to forfil your tummy's desire. Just one look at thier pasteries and you wish you bought you Valentine's sweets from them!! All I can say is "YUMMY"!!!“
“Vic is definitely one of the cleanest sandwich shops on the west side. There is only a few and Vic is definitely one of them. Their service is amazing and their food is very clean. We really enjoy eating here if you’re reading this reviews do not hesitate to stop and check them out daily Specials are amazing not to mention all the rest of there food. They’ve got great coffee. I can go on and on. Thank you for the food and service y’all provide! Keep up the awesome work!!Israel VinsonVegetarian options: SaladParking: There is plenty parking out front and around the sideKid-friendliness: I bring my kids in every now and then and they are all very friendly.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes, there is a wheelchair accessible big bathroom doors I noticed because my cousin is in a wheelchair and Has came and ate with me.“
“I accidentally placed an order for the wrong location this morning and let me tell you, Sydney really did me a solid. I was late for work. They were very busy. This is what customer service should be. She took care of me and so did one other girl, I did not catch her name but they both deserve a raise for having better customer service than half of Jacksonville put together. Im going to try and come back to tip them because I was not able to do so this morning. Thank you again!“
“We’re going to MOSH and decided to grab lunch here since it was a short walk. My daughter and I split a burger, and had chips and potato salad. Everything was so good! It was our first time and they gave us each a free cookie! We had the chocolate chip and oatmeal raisin and they were homemade and delicious! Great experience overall.“
“Brick is an oasis in an otherwise dearth of downtown lunch options. The specials are always on point and varied. The staff is super friendly and very efficient. Doing over 100 lunches daily in this tiny little place without making customers have to wait more than maybe 5 minutes for your food is quite impressive! My only complaint is that I wish they were open on Saturdays so that I don't have to blindly wander the downtown streets in desperate search for a decent lunch.“
