“Stopped to eat breakfast on our way from Fort Lauderdale to Winter Haven for our daughter’s volleyball state finals. Service was great, food came out fast and it was delicious. Biscuits are amazing!! And our waitress Liza was so welcoming & funny. Great find!“
“Great lounge to have a bite and a drink. Honestly, I only have been here on the weekends. On Friday and Saturday nights, it's always a great time. You typically find a puerto rican crowd with a blend of island music played by the DJ that is from a popular radio station. They have a good dance floor, a pool table and they host pay per view fights and sports on their dollar not charging a dime. This is a very underrated place. Prices are great as well and the food is actually very good, love the alcapurrias. Hoy se bebeee.“

“Richard at the Cashier and Mike at the tables, what a combination. These 2 Gentlemen are Gems. Good old fashion customer service. The food was absolutely perfect. The entire restaurant, bathrooms, dining tables, beverage station and floors we super clean. Now this place definitely sets the standard. “If you are gonna eat, don’t take it to go. It gets SOGGY QUICK and turns into a waste of money 😭 even on a 5 minute drive back to where i was. The store is cute. The strawberries were fresh.“

“I lived in Lake Wales for over twenty years and I love Al’s Place the friendliest bar in town, remind me of the old tv show “Cheers “ when everyone knows your name. The beer is cold, the food delicious and they give you plenty. On your first trip there you will get initiated with the yardstick and become a member of the family group. My son and daughter got me back in Pennsylvania as I age to see that I have proper care, but promise me every so often the would bring me back to Lake Wales to visit all my old friend. Looking forward to February at when they celebrate the the holiday Mardi Gras and have a great time with all my old friends…..It’s a pleasure…Thank You.“

“You may think a restaurant within a community can't be as good as outside, but this is one of the best restaurants in the entire area. Nice atmosphere and everything is always tasty.Waitstaff is nice, but can be all over the place. We've had long waits without menus, not removing ingredients when asked, food delivered to wrong tables, etc.No blender at the bar, so don't expect any tropical drinks.“

“6/2724 and 6/29/24-Was five star (*****) the first time so all 4 of us voted to come back.
We were here for 3 days for a wedding and did not return to the first place we tried
Both servers were VG, food was VG and plentiful.
It is great to see a restaurant excel in all ways like hey do.
Others complain about slow business, you just do all the right things and bring people back.
Thank you for 2 great experiences

“We're staying at the beach resort and came here for dinner on our first night. Very laid back environment, great food and a good play area. The pineapple upside down cake was phenomenal! Trying breakfast tomorrow. Will do a different review for that.
Update: after doing two breakfast runs, the first one was great but the second morning was not so great customer service. Had to wait for everything, drinks, food bill. So I guess it depends on the day of the week and server you get.“

“We had a reservation for 5:30. We had to wait 15 minutes fir a table. (Why take reservations?) We ordered a bottle of wine from the wine list, the server did not recognize it. The bartender, trying to be a sommelier, came to our table to tell us they didn't have that bottle. I picked another. when she served, rather than pouring an ounce or two for tasting, filled both glasses. I'm glad we liked the wine. The entrees were both very good. My wife and I made it an enjoyable meal. The staff needs better training.“

“This is a great little diner. We enjoyed breakfast previously and wanted to go back to try their lunch. The service is always very friendly, efficient and prompt. The food is delicious. Hubby had their burger melt and said it was one of the best he'd ever had. I had the catfish fingers which were huge; more like fillets. Highly recommend for a good, quick bite to eat that is also very affordably priced. They usually only do breakfast and lunch, but they also now offer an all you can eat fish fry on Friday night.“

“A "thumbs up"! We go several times a week. never had a bad meal, and service is excellent! Haven't tried the ice cream, yet, because the portions of the meals are huge! We'll have to go in sometime just for the ice cream!“

“We had breakfast this morning for Veterans Day. Of course they were slammed. Outstanding staff from the moment we walked in until the moment we walked out. We had to wait for our food but while we waiting we noticed how well the staff worked together. The wait staff was complimenting the kitchen and wait staff helped one another. Yes the wait was long but we didn’t mind. The meal was outstanding. Thank you so much to the staff. We’ll be back. They deserve 5 stars.“

“I recently attended a private catered event at Flightline Cafe . We had a delicious buffet meal Salmon , Parmesan Chicken Breast , Sweet Baby Carrots. Garlic Mashed potatoes and tasty Broccoli and cheeses . Started the buffet with a delicious tossed salad with all the fixing . Washed it down with sweet tea and lemonade. The bar has top shelf drinks that keep you going back for more . Service was impeccable. If you ever need a place to have a function Flightline Cafe should be one of your top choices as kudos to the owners“
“Cooters Smokehouse in Davenport, FL. created an amazing buffet for my wedding reception Thanksgiving 2024. No singular person could create such an amazing spread and environment without an AMAZING crew. The food included RIBS, PORK, CHICKEN, (delicious), sweat potato casserole, 2 delicious salads and an unbelievable MAC N CHEESE bar. Everything you could add to fantastic MAC N CHEESE by itself. If you have a sweet tooth, the 🧁 CUPCAKES, oh my. I truly believe they can make anything incredibly delicious. I consider myself a BBQ afficionado and have competed in competitions, but Cooters Smokehouse is off the charts. Again, we had to overcome some logistical difficulties and Samantha's team pulled it off without a hitch. I cannot overstate how happy I was with Samantha and Cooters Smokehouse. In closing, if you don't believe me, try them for lunch!“

“If you want a cozy and friendly place to have drinks with friends, this is the place. Karaoke with Rick on Wednesday and Friday is always a great time, too! It's a nice, clean place that has great service! The food is good, the drinks are yummy and the atmosphere is welcoming.“
