“We 3 are Buffalonians, Joe is Buffalo transplant from Vermont, now all seasonal residents in LakeView of Largo. We planned a visit to Buffalo Charlie’s, turns out Art was recognized by the owner cooking our meal from Buffalo baseball teams he ran back in the day! Small world indeed! On top of that food was Great reminiscent of back home! Bologna, Beef and Chicken top notch, Gennie beer too! We’ll be back!“

“My girlfriend and I were in town yesterday and today and after finding this place, we decided to try it on Saturday. Our server was Ashley and she was extremely nice and made sure we were taken care of. The food was so delicious that we decided to go again the next day before leaving. Ashley was our server again and she remembered us! She was just wonderful both days. The food was equally as good, I can’t recommend this place enough. I will openly admit that I can be a bit of a nuisance when I order my food. I am a very picky eater so there are only a handful of things I eat in restaurants. I also will order those things a particular way which is usually very rare for a server to accommodate. Fernando nailed it like no other did and im not exaggerating. I’m in my late 50’s, so to say that he brought my food exactly how I would have served myself better than anyone else had ever done is saying a lot. Enough for me to ask for the manager to compliment him. It was the managers suggestion to do a google review so here I am. I would like to also mention that it was nice that they have a gluten free menu which removed those concerns we usually have when my mother is with me. They also had alot of seating options which was nice.“

At this point I started crying because I had no idea how I was going to get home. A few minutes later Jim (bartender/manager on duty) approached me and asked me my address. He said, "I'm getting you an Uber. Nobody has done something this nice for me forever. He found out how long for the ride and offered me a drink while I waited. Thank you sooo much Jim. As soon as I can get a car, I will definitely be patronizing Jack Willies Bar. The world needs more people like you!!!!“

“This is my home away from home. I love the atmosphere, the people, the food is addictive and the staff are like family to me. The entertainment is fun and I love singing here. The crowd is so receptive to every singer that gets on stage to sing.“

“Yup, it’s a bar—and it smells like one too. 😂🍺 We stopped in for lunch and had a pretty good experience.

🍗 Happy hour wings were only $1 each, and we LOVED them! Definitely a win.

🥨 The pretzel was great too. The beer cheese could have been better, but it was okay. I’m not a mustard person, so I can’t speak for that part. 😆

🦃 I ordered the turkey after hearing someone else order it and thought it sounded good. The turkey was a little dry and came with brown gravy, which I’m not a fan of—but that’s on me because I didn’t read what came with it.

🥔 Now the mashed potatoes surprised me! They tasted homemade and were absolutely delicious. I’m not even much of a mashed potato eater, but I would happily eat these again—just without the gravy!

🥣 My husband had the meatloaf and chili. He said they were okay, but neither was really a favorite for him.

Overall, the wings, pretzel, and those homemade mashed potatoes were the standouts for me. 👍🍺“

If you’re looking for a great spot on Clearwater Beach, Hurricane Eddie’s is the place, but the real reason to ask for a seat at the bar is Ashley!

Ashley was absolutely on point from start to finish. Great personality, hilarious, attentive without being overbearing, and somehow made the whole place feel like we were hanging out with friends. She kept the drinks coming, made sure everyone was taken care of, and brought an energy that made the entire experience better.

You can have great food and cold drinks anywhere, but great bartenders make you want to come back — and Ashley is exactly that kind of bartender.

She went out of her way to make our kids feel special, and her kind, caring attitude truly turned our day around after a disappointing experience at Eskpades. I understand both spots may be under the same management, and that’s fine—my previous review was simply to bring attention to how guests were being treated there.

This review, however, is to highlight the stellar service we received from Sophia at Doks. She completely redeemed our experience at Club Wyndham. The food was great, the drinks were even better, and the overall atmosphere has kept us coming back daily since Friday the 25th. They even bring food and drinks right to the pool!
